Nipple Soreness/jogging. Any Advice

Why is one of my nipple tips red?

That is normal and will come and go your whole life. It does not stay red and is a sign of tenderness in the breast. Nothing more.

Sore boobs when jogging or even walking. Could I be pregnant?

It would be too soon for symptoms to even appear this early even if you were pregnant your body would not be able to registar the pregnancy yet. It is very possible they are sore because you are ovualting. Mine never did that than one month they got sore around ovulation and stayed sore for about a week then would go back to normal and I thought I was pregnant the first time it happened, then it happened every month after that so I wasn;t alarmed by it anymore. Good chances your just ovulating. If you have a little blood a week before your next expected period...that could be a good sign! And most likely wuld be the first, the next would be a missed period. Remember, if you are trying, you will think every little thing that happens is a symptom so before getting too excited you need to see those 2 lines :) Good luck and baby dust!

Is there a safe lubricant for newly pierced nipples?

i just got my nipples pierced 5 days ago, it seems like they only hurt when they are dry , i clean them 1 to 2 times daily with warm water and epsom salt, then i wash them with dial antibacterial soap, then i dry them, its not long after i dry them, they feel like they are getting very tight, i think a lubricant will help this problem but im not sure if its safe... i also havent wore a bra in three days because i thought that if i wasnt wearing a bra then they would get more air and move more to get the whole opened up or loosened up. Does anyone know if its safe to use some sort of lube? If not does anyone know what i can do?

Nipple piercings and running..?

im considdering getting my nipples pierced, but im also training for a few 5ks in april. im worried that if i get them done soon it will throw off my training schedule but if i wait untill after it will ruin vacation plans i have a few weeks later (not being able to swim and what not.). there will be a few weeks in between the 5ks and my vacation plans but i really am not sure how long i want to wait or i may talk myself out of it due to money. if i get them pierced mid training how long should i wait before i could start running again so as not to interfere with healing? any suggestions??? serious advice only please, im not looking for someone to tell me how stupid it is to get them pierced or what issues could pop up with them, ive done a little research already. i just want to know if a jogging schedule is possible with fresh piercings. thats all.

How can I stop my nipples from burning and bleeding after running?

I'm instinctively ashamed to admit that this has been an issue for me in the past, but it's nothing to be ashamed of (or so I'll keep telling myself), and to prove that point, I'll answer this question with my name attached. So now everyone knows I've had this quite embarrassing problem before.Your nipples chafe after an extended run because the nipples are abrasively rubbing against the fabric of your shirt. Your sweat is salty, which irritates even the smallest cuts/abrasions, and that just compounds things. It's not only embarrassing, but it's quite painful. And it only seems to get exponentially worse.Fortunately, there are a few good solutions that I know of:Taping your nipples (there's actually some product you can buy, although I've never explored this option)Wearing a clothing that won't brush/slide against your chest/nipplesRunning shirtlessChanging your running style to minimize bouncingThe last option seems a little bizarre, but it's actually the best solution in my humble opinion. Lots of runners tend to bounce with their stride. That stride not only expends energy uselessly, but the bouncing also causes that friction between the shirt and your chest. You can minimize your stride bounce and greatly mitigate nipple chafing right there. And you'll be running more efficiently. And it won't cost you a cent in nipple tape!

I swim twice a week and jog 3-4 km a week. I've been doing this for a few months but I'm starting to feel pain on the side of my right knee. Any reason for this? I thought I've condition my legs.

There is definitely a reason for this from a biomechanical standpoint.  Every step you take places a stress on your knee. This stress is carried out through your bones and muscles.  So first off, jogging 3-4 months will increase the stress frequency in your knee, thus increasing the possibility of pain. Secondly, jogging is not the best way to strengthen and condition your legs. Why? The strength you use versus the ammount of repitions is very low.  For example, if you are weight lifting, you might be able to do 10 reps before our muscles say they cant do anymore.  However in jogging, your really just putting on foot infront of another, crushing your knee into the ground without fully activating your leg muscles (which if you do fully activate, would reduce the stress on your bones).  The fact that running does not fully activate your leg muscles is the second reason why your knee maybe sore. Disclaimer: I am not a doctor, just an engineer with courses taken in biomechanics

My boobs hurt like hell. what do i do and why is this happening? i am getting really annoyed.?

ummm tumor is a bad thing to think about, it might be because of high intensive exercise, or maybe you worked out the chest muscle lately. but in case it has been for long time then i advice you to visit a therapist

P.S try to remember if you had wrong movement during exercise
