Nobody Gave A Stand-down Order In Benghazi The Claim Was A Lie Debunked By The Cia Hearings And

The CIA hearings proved every conservative claim on Benghazi to be false. No stand down order, ground...?

The conservative mind is a deep mystery.

I don't even know what they're accusing Obama of, exactly. There just seems to be this vague idea of a conspiracy over Benghazi, but none of them can tell you the what or the why.

Once in a while, there's the weird suggestion Obama wanted those people dead and now we're in completely crazy territory: Sure... what incumbent wouldn't want bodybags smack in the middle of an election campaign. Makes perfect sense to me.

What really happened in Benghazi, and why are the Republicans blaming Hillary for the death of four servicemen?

Benghazi! The moronic Republican conspiracy theory, spread by the Right Wing propaganda mills. that will not die. No matter how many times these idiotic conspiracies are debunked, no matter that they make absolutely no sense to anyone with a functioning intellect, they live on forever in the netherworld of Alex Jones, Fox News, and the CATO institute. What really happened in Benghazi:Answer: Riots broke out in the area, an the US Consulate came under attack. There was insufficient security to repel the attack, and some of the valiant defenders of the installation were killed by the rioters.Simple as that. That’s all there is to it.Why is Hillary still being blamed for it.The answer to this is because there are still a lot of gullible people who are not smart enough to realize after something like six Republican “investigations” that turned up absolutely NOTHING of any evidentiary value, proves that there is nothing behind the “conspiracy theory” but Republican hot air, and the unlimited capacity for the conservative to believe an accusation for which there is not one smidgen of actual proof. Indeed, they regard the lack of evidence as proof of a “cover up”.I know…I know…it doesn’t even make sense. But if the fact that it doesn’t make sense resonated with Congressional Republicans and the Fox News types, these endless conspiracies would have died out long ago.Anyone who still wants to blame someone for what happened in Benghazi, should blame the “fiscally responsible” GOP who think that tax breaks for billionaires should take priority over Consulate and Embassy security. And don’t forget that Benghazi happened on the eve of the 2012 election. The GOP was foaming at the mouth trying to convince the public that President Obama personally ordered the deaths of those diplomats by issuing a “stand down” order to a rescue attempt. Yes, I’m not making this imbecility up. People still believe that. But Obama won that election, so they immediately started focusing the blame on Hillary. Because they knew that anyone stupid enough to believe the conspiracy theory in the first place, would never question why it was Obama being pilloried before the election, and then Hillary after Obama won. What a humiliation this kind of idiocy is, for our country.

Why are some liberals so condescending toward Trump supporters? Do they really feel they are superior?

They can’t believe anyone voted for someone who has spouted so much hate speech, who has so few coherent ideas, and whose tendencies seem too patently autocratic. It’s not about liberals feeling “superior”: it’s about us being morally aghast that you guys got behind a demi-man who called Mexicans “rapists” in his campaign announcement, has degraded women, attacked anyone who dares criticize him, waged a systematic war on the very free press whose constant attention to him probably factored in his victory, attacked a Gold Star family and compared his “sacrifices” as real-estate billionaire to those of the young and dead Muslim-American soldier Humayun Khan, who besmirched John McCain’s status as a war hero — when was Trump ever in Vietnam?, who wants to create a registry for Muslims (much as Hitler did for Jews — bad precedent), who has the zealous support of the KKK, who cozied up to Putin (whose government interfered in the election — in the country whose security the president is supposed to ensure), who has been nominating plutocrats and alt-right loons to very lofty and powerful positions, who promises to deport millions and break up families, to “build a Wall and make Mexico pay for it” (good luck), who will lead us into trade wars and likely encourage fiscal policy that will lead to another huge financial meltdown, calls climate change a hoax propagated by China (and therefore embraces destructive industries and deregulation, and has no agenda to help mitigate the first anthropogenic extinction in our planet’s history), etc., etc., etc.We are disappointed to think we live in a country in which our fellow citizens think that these things are presidential, that they befit the leader of the free world. We are horrified to think that America elected its own image, and that image is this. The man’s affronts to common decency and infantile vulnerability to any provocation should have disqualified him in the minds of all decent and sane people. So what the fuck happened? I am no great fan of Hillary’s. I don’t think Washington is functioning properly. But electing this wholly selfish, power-hungry golem to our highest office was not a wise alternative. It’s not so much about superiority. The feeling is “This is America in the twenty-first century! How could you?”

Could Hillary Clinton be indicted based on her newly leaked P2P emails?

BFD.How pathetic to grasp at straws to keep alive a failed 30 year campaign of smears and disinformation. How shameful to turn this country into a banana republic by prosecuting a defeated opponent on pathetic made up “crimes.”How ironic that Hilary-hater Judicial Watch calls for “a serious criminal investigation by an independent Trump Justice Department." A TRUMP Justice Department? How about the “United States Justice Department” to start with?Maybe the TRUMP Justice Department should instead go after Dick Cheney. After all, Cheney really did commit a felony when he blew the cover of a clandestine CIA officer (spy) searching for evidence of nuclear proliferation in a dangerous overseas posting — just because Cheney was mad that her non-CIA husband wouldn't play ball on political issues. That's real news, not “fake” news. Remember, Scooter Libby took the fall for him and got his sentence commuted, removing the incentive for him to finger Cheney? A real hero.[By the way, for those who are puzzled, like I was, by the “leak” reference, this actually concerns a Freedom of Informarion Act release by the State Department. The ‘criminal’ behavior mentioned by Fox is ludicrous — help with some travel visas, a knock on Joe Biden’s performance on a Mexico tour, and worst of all tips for Clinton’s State Department speechwriter from the mother of Clinton’s State Department chief of staff on how to write an official State Department speech by Clinton at a women’s university in Saudi Arabia. Lots of secret stuff like, “"try not to offend them with this …”]
