Duke University Online Paralegal Program???

Has anyone heard anything or known someone who did Duke univ. Paralegal Program? I know that it is expensive but it looks like a great program, plus it has the duke name on it. With the research I have been doing there are some who say "employers dont really look at where you grad. from as long as your good" and then others who say "you need your degree and it has to be aba approved". Just a little confused over here. Thanks
p.s. I live in CA if that matters :)

I'm REALLY scared that I'm not going to get into college!! :'(?

Well as you know it.. Senior year for me is less than two months. I haven't taken my PSAT or my SAT's.

My GPA is a 3.7.. Which isn't good because everybody knows that the GPA level is higher now.. It's like out of a 5.0 or a 6.0? So mine is REALLY Low.

I haven't taken the SAT's because I'm a procrastinator.. and I'm just really nervous about taking it. I'm not the best test taker.
I'm filipino, so I know I can get some minority scholarship? But I don't know where I could find any or what any are.
My grades haven't been the best.. My freshman year I think my average was an 83? My sophomore year average was an 85? and my junior grade HA.. Probably a 75.. My junior year I really screwed up due to unforeseen circumstances that happened in my family. I have had a few AP classes.. AP world history, AP English, I've taken up to Spanish 3 honors and will probably take Chinese or Spanish 4 my senior year.. My other classes include precal honors, chemistry honors, allied health, English honors, biology, earth environmental honors, etc..

My problem? I want to go to the University Of North Carolina At Chapel Hill School of Nursing. That is MY DREAM. I've seen the requirements and boyyyy.. Deadlines for Chapel Hill is December.. and I'm taking my SAT's in October.

I've had three jobs.. Hollister: model/cashier. Texas Road House: hostess/waitress. Hobby Lobby: cashier/backstock. SKSK: childcare..
I cheered freshman year.. Soccer junior year.. I'll be the student body secretary Senior year.. Been to two different public school.. and was also homeschooled. AHS freshman year, homeschooled Sophomore year, FHS junior and will finish out there.. Worked a full time job while I was homeschooled. Haven't recieved many awards but I did participate in a pageant, danced for 9 years, gymnastic for 8. Girlscout for 4.

Did I mention I was adopted? Move to the U.S when I was six from the Philippines.. English wasn't my first language. Learned it when I moved here.. Has ESL

What are my chances of getting into UVA's School of Nursing?

I have a current GPA of 4.0 or mabye 4.1 and am in my senior year, I have taken Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry and am taking Oceanography. I took Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and Algebra 3 with Statistics. World History 9 Honors, AP US History, AP US Government, and AP World History. English College Prep all 4 years, 4 years of Spanish, and electives of Sociology, Psychology, Introduction to Health and Medical Sciences, EMT 1/2 and Biology 2: Anatomy and Phisiologyand also Art 1 and 2 years of PE. I've played tennis 1 year and soccer 3 years, have been in spanish club 4 years and national honor society 3 years. I would really like to get into UVA what are my chances and also any tips?

Is Duke University a Catholic school?

Their religious affiliation is United Methodist Church.

Which Ivy League college has the most politically conservative students?

It depends on your definition of “conservative”…If you are talking about Midwest mom-and-apple-pie socially conservative, I don’t think you’re going to find that strongly represented at any of the Ivy Leagues. If you are talking about Rockefellar I’m-a-capitalist-bitch-and-I-masturbate-to-Ayn-Rand conservative, then you can probably find enough of them at any of the Ivy Leagues to not be too lonely, but conventional wisdom says Dartmouth is the place you’ll feel most at home.Dartmouth is after all located in the “Live Free or Die” state, although these days it’s mostly just a state for Massachusetts residents who want tax breaks. And on that note, let me add one particular irony:If you go to an Ivy League, you’re not supposed to promote capitalism too much, even though capitalism very much thrives on the heels of most Ivy League graduates, and is very much alive in the most liberal parts of the country. For instance, the peeps in Silicon Valley are the biggest capitalists in America, but they get a free pass because they are “disrupting” old institutions and making the world a better place. The great robber barons of the 19th Century like Carnegie, Rockefellar and of course Stanford understood this principle as well — blatant capitalism with a little bit of “I care for the little guy” PR goes a long way. So rest assured that you will find plenty of true capitalists in the Ivy Leagues who are capitalist on the inside, even if they’re wearing a free Karl Marx t-shirt on the outside. A lot of the professors may be true socialists, but keep in mind these are the people who chose a low-paying faculty job over a high-paying Wall Street job. They are there to maintain the charade that the Ivy Leagues are harmless hippie socialist institutions rather than a system to maintain the status quo of America’s 1%.But nowhere in New England are you likely to find traditional American social conservatism anymore. The descendants of the Puritans who remained conservative pretty much all moved west, as far as I know. The only social conservatives I’ve ever seen in New England are children of Catholic immigrants, who still tend to vote blue for Democrats. If you’re a social conservative and you want an Ivy League education, you’re going to have to suck it up and be a bit of an outcast for four years to get your education. Ditto if you want to go to any of the prestigious schools on the West Coast (Stanford, Berkeley, etc.)
