Where is my NOTES folder in new version of Yahoo Mail?
Notepad is located near the bottom of your folders on the left side of your email page...if u do not see it click on APPLICATIONS. If you then do not see it you might have to switch browsers...I have it in Google, but not Firefox....don't know why. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++... Contrary to some other contributors there are still several working links to get mail classic at this time however I feel I should only mention one at a time so the yahoo enforcer squad does not close them all down at once. Don't get used to it, the notice is out basically switch to new or get lost, if your computer not up to new they will have a very basic version, will not be surprised if turns out to be similar to classic, but they seem to plan to make getting there difficult. It all has to do with money, and how yahoo execs think they can make more of it. For years they have been scanning your email to gain information about you to sell to advertisers, manufacturers, financial institutions, and governmental bodies, now they have come up with much more sophisticated data mining programs that can target and tailor advertising to the individual, tell manufacturers what options you are most interested in, and so on. To cover this programing and achieve profits sooner it is necessary to force all users onto this new system, they have invested heavily in the tech, and laid all their bets on the new system, if it fails they may be out of business. Yahoo! is a business, run by people that know how to read a spreadsheet but know very little about the esthetics that make the classic mail system much more user friendly and useful, I disagree with their decision but I see how they chose it.

Why am I being shamed for "still" having a Yahoo email address, when a network of thousands of people over 20 years has that address? What sense is there to losing all those business & personal contacts, to prove I'm modern or hip? It sounds absurd.

Furthermore, if they don’t recognize your address because they know you, they may automatically assume it’s spam.Also, some people don’t really like sending to yahoo accounts, because once they send to you through their email, they know their email is not only someplace in Yahoo’s cyberspace, but more specifically on your computer. And many people consider that if someone is still using a Yahoo account, that they may not be very security conscious or educated, so they may feel their email runs a risk being on your computer if you were to get hacked.Yahoo is just thought of by some computer saavy people as the creepy old man that hangs out at the schoolyard.
