Do you think u are ignorant cuz you can't speack my language?if not why?

Are there some concepts which are not best explained in English, or in any of the symbol systems we have today?

I remember debating with a fellow student when I was studying French about what I saw as pointless inefficiencies of language. It seemed like for every rule I learned, there were 8 exceptions, (making the whole thing feel thrown together by a rambling mad scientist through time. I argued that language only exhists to convey individuals' thoughts and abstract feelings, which themselves were perfect at their starting points in those individuls' heads - language only muddled things up like a bad radio transmitter. It seemed to me like there should be a new language to communicate these ideas more perfectly. I did some research and found "lojban", a "synthetic" language made up to basically solve the above delemas of language. My student friend scoffed at such an idea, believing that it was precisely the inefficiencies of language that provided each with their own unique strengths in perspective and communication. He saw these inefficiencies as culture. Long story short, perhaps you will find lojban interesting?

He has no hair on his tongue! What is the best way to explain this expression to a foreigner?

He says exactly what he thinks.

Can you explain to me about 401k (in plain English)no fancy big words..thanks?

its a retirement savings account, most companies will match your cotributions up to a certain amount. So when you put in what they match you are automaticly doubling your money. You can only pull it out without penalty until you retire. Until that time it is invested and interest. You can start pulling out money at age 59 and a half.

English Grammar: Is it 'Can you explain me?' or 'Could you explain me?'

Can is used when you want to know about a person's ability to do something.Could is used when you are requesting a person for something.Correct: Can you run 100 metres in below 10 seconds?Incorrect: Could you run 100 metres in below 10 seconds?Correct: Could you please give me some privacy?Incorrect: Can you please give me some privacy? The sentences you have mentioned above are grammatically correct, but probably not in the way you think.'Can you explain me?' indicates that you are asking if the second person has the ability to describe you (i.e. tell others about your personality). 'Could you explain me?' is similar, except for the fact that you are asking them to actually do it.What you really want to say is 'explain to me'. When the object in the sentence (here, me) is to be the receiver of the information (not the information itself), we use the preposition 'to' to show that the information is going to him, and is not about him.Correct: Could you explain to me why the sun rises in the east?Incorrect: Could you explain me why the sun rises in the east?Hope it was useful :)

Explain "It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required” ~ Winston Churchill?

Let's say you are a fantastic poet - writing is a great skill that you have and you would consider it your best attribute, but physically you are not in great shape because you do no exercise. However, you come across a car crash and somebody is trapped underneath - two or three people are trying to lift the car off the person. These people do not need your 'best attribute', they need what little strength you can add to the situation, and that little extra strength you give may solve the problem.
This is what Churchill meant - people during the war needed to do what was necessary whatever it could be.

Credit card, APR -- plain english explanation?

If you do not pay the full balance during any month, then you are charged finance charges for at least two months. (Generally, for one month more than the number of consecutive months for which you do not pay the full balance; for example, if you pay the full balance for several months, then do not do so for two months, then pay the full balance for several months, and then do not pay the full balance for one month, then you will be charged finance charges for a total of five months.)

The finance charge each month is the balance times the APR times the number of days in the month divided by the number of days in the year. Since the number of days in the month divided by the number of days in the year is approximately 1/12, the finance charge is approximately equal to the balance times the APR divided by 12.

With a 23.99% APR, the finance charge each month would be approximately 2% of the average daily balance for that month.
