Noticing Changes With My Body

I'm seeing changes in my body, but not on the scale?

Hello,

More important than the scale is the tape measure. Start to
measure different parts on your body and see the difference
in measurements. A scale will take into account everything
including water so it is not a good indicator unless you
have a scale that measures BMI (Body Mass Index). Always
remember that muscle weighs more than fat but you want
to have plenty of lean muscle because that is what will
help with increasing the use of calories. Good health and
fitness is a marathon, not a sprint. Don't ever give up. You
want to have good habits you do every day for the rest of
your life. Have a great day!

Does weed change your body or face?

No, pot does not change anything.
You can get the munchies and obviously that could make you gain weight,
but you could also exercise daily.
Smoking weed will also NOT make your teeth yellow, it doesn't make your voice deeper, it's not always a gateway drug, and it will not make you stupid.
Many people will disagree with this, and with other people who smoke weed. But do whatever you please, don't let anyone tell you what to do, or in this case, what not to do.
Unless they have the authority to do so, of course.

Here are some changes that I noticed.I have not suffered from any form of intestinal / gastric discomfort. Antacids are something I do not need at all anymore. My lipids have gone downMy energy levels are higher. After a meal, even when I have eaten a full stomach, I do not feel digestive stress that makes me lethargicI recover better from my training runs..I can add more volume. My skin tone has improvedMy body odour is not that odorousThe morning crusting of my eyes is now almost zeroAnd there is a video that I thought bought out all this in a rather humorous wayhttps://www.facebook.com/ReganTh...

In order to notice a change in your own body you will need to lose/gain between five and six pounds. Why this much weight you may ask?The majority of the time it takes someone six weeks to notice a change in their own lives, eight weeks for those who see you often, and ten weeks for those who only see you on occasion.Losing or gaining five to six pounds should in general take between four and six weeks. It is important to stay dedicated in your own goal and know that any change worth making is worth the time and effort to get there. This is an example of what five pounds of muscle looks like compared to five pounds of fat.Obviously you and others are going to notice five pounds of fat first. When you don’t think you are gaining any weight remember this picture and know that gaining muscle takes time; you may not notice it at first, but it’s there.

My first month on low dose hormone therapy (EE2 and CPA) did not bring any physical changes. However, it did lessen significantly my depression.I am now one month and three weeks on hormones. As of now, I have some breast growth (there are small ball-like lumps behind my nipples). My nipples hurt when touched or bumped. Next month my endo would increase my dosage. The first month on hormones was very exciting and relieving ( I had 8+ years of persistent depression due to gender dysphoria brought by puberty and hormone therapy worked like a miracle for me. It made depression down by 80%. The other 20% would be dealt with by SRS). The psychological effect of hormone therapy is that it makes me face problems (stress) in life with joy (not with depression).

My fitness levels changed significantly within 3 months of starting CrossFit and remaining consistent, working out 3x per week. My fitness levels changed dramatically within 6 months, after I had moved past the initial muscle soreness that happens when someone works out who previously did not. My body composition (fat vs. muscle) was noticeably different at my 1 year mark. My bodyweight only changed when I was eating strict Paleo for six weeks. CrossFit is a fitness program, not a weight loss program. Beach bodies are made in the kitchen, not the gym.Contrary to other replies here, CrossFit absolutely is for beginners and average Joes, and any box / CF coach that tells you otherwise is not worth your time. The whole idea behind CF is “functional fitness,” as opposed to specialized / niche fitness. All WODs, all movements, can and should be scaled to meet any athlete’s ability level, regardless of where it is. I workout alongside athletes who will be competing in the 2016 CrossFit Games as well as athletes who scale nearly every single element of every workout. Some of my gym-mates are in their upper 60s, some are pregnant, some are entirely new to working out, some are very out of shape. There are ways to adapt everything for everyone.

You will be able to breathe much better after just 2 to 3 days of quitting.Any smoker's lungs will be noticeably affected by long term smoking. The average smoker would probably do fine walking short to medium distances, but they would run out of breath if they run more than a couple of hundred feet, or climb a lot of stairs. They will also, depending on how much they smoke, have a congested nose a lot of the time. The times I quit smoking, I could already breathe better after a few hours without a cigarette. However the real change happened after the second day, when I really felt I had more lung capacity than usual.I could walk fast for long distances, and run for short ones without feeling like I'm breathing my last.I also felt like a fog was lifted off my brain. I guess that has something to do with getting more oxygen in my blood. The second thing people notice after quitting smoking is how their sense of taste improves.I can tell you that it improves quite dramatically, at least in the first few days.I remember having spicy food, not hot but with a lot of spices, and feeling so nauseous I couldn't finish it.It was wonderful, but it's taste was a hundred times stronger than what it would normally taste like to me.Of course it's a good thing you get your taste buds working again. Just stay away from strong flavors the first few days. And surely there is the financial aspect. You are going to notice a difference in your wallet. A positive one, that is.Another thing you'll have to get used to, is the free time you’ll get not having to take smoke breaks anymore. You won't have to go all the way down stairs from God knows what floor, and then back up again every hour or so. You also won't have to go outside in the cold or rain. But if you're the type that smokes to keep their hands busy, you better find something else to put in your hands. That's really all I can think of at the moment!
