Noting The Presidents Obama

Isn’t it true that Obama is not the 1st black President, that there have been at least 6 black Presidents before him as noted by historian Dr. Auset BaKhufu (and others) in her book, “The Six Black Presidents: Black Blood, White Masks, USA”?

What a meaningless, stupid, loaded question ! Is there any other place than Amerikkka where one could ask such an idiotic, useless question? To start off, mr Obama is not black but a “mulatto” subject as we all are to one extent or an other . His ancestry is african and his mother is a “white woman”. What is meant by “white” is the appearence of a lighter coloured skin than anybody’s skin when they have a few days sunbathing. To believe that some of us have pure linear ancestry is to ignore the very bases of our presence on the planet. We started off in Africa and those that stayed there had to adapt and increase the pigmentation of their skin in order to protect their body from solar radiations. Those that moved out of Africa for colder climates stopped producing the dark pigment and progressively became lighter in colour. In fact we are mostly different shades of pink and those among us that drink too much become red rather than pink. Are those drunkards some sort of “redskins” like the original inhabitants of Northern America ? Of course not ! They are just the product of a colossal mix of ethnic groups, like all of us, that we can trace centuries back thanks to DNA. So, no BS about “black presidents” from a nutty pseudo historian. We all have genes of different groups and that includes, of course, our common african origin

Is President Obama guilty of treason?

Don’t believe everything you read…The Republicans spent years investigating Hillary and never found anything that she did that was a crime. Now they are starting on President Obama, probably one of the most honest people that has ever been president.Believe This…There is nothing that the Republicans won’t distort use innuendo or outright lie about. They will do anything no matter how evil if they think it will enhance their position. The will kidnap kids from their parents and keep them in pens, they will accuse people of crimes that they know they are innocent of, the will cover for anything up to and including treason if it’s one of their own.And they will accept a career con artist who is a mentally ill, maniacal egotist with absolutely no morals or a trace of compassion as their leader. At the same time, they are ready to take health care coverage away from millions of people in order to give a tax break to the wealthiest members of our society. When they controlled the House they covered up all the evil things that Trump was doing and now they are doing their best to make sure that we never find out about it by blocking the Mueller investigation report from the public. The United States is going down the tube and it’s because of them.So don’t believe everything that you have read, (including me) do your research and see the truth for your self.If it was up to the Republicans there would still be people who have worked their entire life living in poverty with no Social Security, no health care and no food. They are doing everything they can to get back to those days.

President Obama noted that Americans faced a "new era of responsibility." Why do you think...?

Americans who have been all too willing to buy cheaply made products at the expense of our own American-made products will need to rethink, and ask themselves, "Will I be willing to pay a few cents more for products made in America?" People (and government) at all levels tempted to live beyond their means may have to bite the proverbial bullet and begin cutting back on luxuries or wasteful spending.

On Wednesday, President Obama is speaking out on his ideas for TARGETED deficit reductions that will pay off in the long run. His FY 2010-2011 budget was submitted last year, on time, and did contain spending cuts such as the elimination of duplicate government programs, just as his first (prior) budget for October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010 was able to SLASH more than $.09 TRILLION from the final FY Bush/Cheney $1.09 TRILLION budget bill. What President Obama is attempting to do is to keep our recovery on track while simultaneously negotiating cutbacks in spending with both Congress and the Senate that might mean these elected representatives won't be able to "bring home the bacon" for a while to buy votes back home. I'm looking forward to hearing what he has to say to counter the mean-spiritedness and religious-nut fervor of the teabagging evangelical extremists in Congress.

Can Barack Obama ever become President again? Would it be constitutional if Barack Obama became the future Vice President, and the President suddenly resigned, thereby making Barack Obama the President again?

If President Obama tried to run as vice president, there would be a lawsuit which would be decided ultimately by the Supreme Court, and I can't tell you how the Supreme Court would rule. The 22nd amendment states:SECTION 1No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.SECTION 2This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its submission to the States by the Congress.Note that it doesn't say anything about acting or serving as president. It says nothing about being elected vice president. It just says "If X or Y is true, then you can't be elected as president — you are ineligible to run." Thus, a literal interpretation of the 22nd amendment would imply that Obama could in fact serve as vice president and be thrust back into the presidency temporarily if the president became disabled or died. However, judges do not always interpret texts literally. Judges frequently look to legislative history and the broader context in which a statue or constitutional provision was enacted to determine the real intent behind it; they consider the practical impact of their interpretations, and they think about whether their interpretation makes sense. The Supreme Court would be inundated with hundreds of pages of carefully crafted amicus curiae briefs delving into every conceivable argument that the provision should be interpreted one way or the other.

Very curious, why do you think former President Barack Obama has said nothing about the current Trump presidency?

It’s a tradition that former presidents don’t criticize their successors.Presidents are expected to put the nation before themselves. Ostensibly, someone seeks the presidency because of their love for the nation and it’s democratic ideals. Part of that is accepting the will of the people if they choose to take the nation in a direction a president doesn’t agree with. Criticizing a successor could undermine the new president and create division in the country.Similarly, insuring an orderly transition is another example of putting the nation before yourself. Inviting a newly elected president to the White House to start that process is also a tradition. It arguably received more attention than usual when President Obama welcomed the man who led the racist “birther” movement against him, but it’s more important for the nation to succeed.A sitting president also doesn’t traditionally criticize his predecessor.Again, it’s about your love for this nation and it’s democratic ideals. A respect for those who were once chosen by the American people to do the same difficult job as you. You also want to unite the country, not divide it.So far, President Trump hasn’t followed this tradition. He’s attacked Obama and former rival Hillary Clinton (breaking another tradition) at every opportunity. As of this writing, I count 33 tweets attacking Obama since the day he took office. 96 if you count tweets attacking Obamacare.Apparently, this is part of how President Trump plans to “shake things up,” or “make America great again.”I’m being sarcastic. I don’t think there’s any grand plan here. This is an administration that likely never expected to win and is largely improvising it’s way through this. This behavior is vintage Trump. He’s a petty, narcissist, immature man who can only bring himself up by tearing others down. He has no regard for our institutions. Many of us hoped that he would pivot and become more presidential. Nearly eight months into this those hopes have been dashed. In his mind it’s all about him, not the nation. Something to keep in mind when trying to figure out his actions.Someday the Trump presidency will end. It will be interesting to see how all this plays out when that time comes, especially if a Democrat is chosen to succeed him.

Why do people actually think that Obama was a good president? He did nothing to stop North Korea or the bloodshed in the Middle East, raised healthcare costs with Obamacare, and gave us more debt than the previous 43 presidents combined.

It’s fair enough to raise these questions. But each can be dealt with easily:“He did nothing to stop North Korea.” Truth is he kept North Korea contained, was making progress, and didn’t put us all in fear of our lives that we might never see old age.“… the bloodshed in the Middle East.” Truth is, he was steering an intelligent, moderate course in the Middle East.“…raised healthcare costs with Obamacare.” Truth is, healthcare costs were going up anyway, and Obamacare’s problem was it didn’t go far enough. However, it guaranteed millions of people healthcare who couldn’t get it otherwise, and kept quite a few people alive who otherwise would die. And now likely will die,“…gave us more debt…” Truth is, he advocated bringing back Clinton-era tax rates on the top 10%, but the Republican Congress refused to go along.Instead, Trump and the Reublicans have now exacerbated the debt problem by adding trillions more to the debt over the next few years. Also, why was Obama a good president? He inherited the worst economy since the Great Depression, reversed that direction after 1 year, and left us with the lowest unemployment rate in generations.Note: It would’ve been nice to have recovered faster, but Obama made excellent suggestions for reducing unemployment faster with better jobs (rebuilding infrastructure) and these suggestions were D.O.A. in the Republican Congress. Now Trump would like to claim credit for this last year, but it genreally takes a president at least a year in office before you see any results from their policies.
