Do you feel disappointed that Naruto and Sakura didn't end up together? (See details)
To be honest, I am probably going to be the only one saying this but I was. When I was still actively watching Naruto, due to the development and parallels between Naruto and Sakura, I thought for sure they were going to end up together. Hinata was okay and all but she was not that important of character for me to consider pairing up with Naruto.While many would argue that Hinata was there from the beginning, I beg to differ. I did admire the fact that she liked Naruto for who he is, however I do not recall her doing anything about it. I suppose it does show in flashbacks that she couldn't (I do not remember but Naruto and Hinata shippers might say she was unable to). I also found it odd that she would follow him sometimes too but that is just my opinion.From my perspective when I was actively watching the show, I thought she was just meant for comic relief because she would faint everytime Naruto would come near her and her role would not go any farther than that. Most of time, Hinata is just known as the girl who likes Naruto. I guess some the reasons why people may ship Hinata with Naruto is that they may pity her in a way, girls relate because they themselves want to be with their crush, or that she is a nice character and she deserves him.I know maybe some NaruHina shippers might be upset with what I said but I genuinely do not mean to bash anyone with my answer, I am just stating my thoughts out loud. In the end, sure I was disappointed probably more than I anticipated (but nothing excessive like sending death threats to the author or burning Naruto manga) but I learned to get over it and that the end is the end. Nothing will change no matter how one may argue.
