Odd Blood Spottimg With Uti

When I'm on my period, I urinate blood clots. Why?

If blood clots are coming in your urine then it's a major issue. Go see a doctor. But, my first guess is that it's your normal menstrual clot and not actually in urine. Urine and menstrual blood comes out of two different holes. So, next time this happens to you, just take a closer look.1. Again, If it is coming in urine, go see a doctor right away.2. If it's a small clot (almost size of a quarter), then ignore, it is normal( Refer to other answers for why it's normal).  If it's bigger and you are having heavy bleeding, like a pad change every hour  - not normal - Go See A Doctor.

I Had Sex And Now My Urine Is Odd?? PLEASE Help!?

It sounds like a Urinary Tract Infection, or a UTI. Don't worry, it's very common in everyone. This probably means that you should be extra careful in keeping yourself clean down there and wipe/wash from front to back, or front and then back (feces/poop is not sanitary, so it is best to keep it from your other parts as best as you can) because the stinging sensation is the presence of bacteria on/in the urethra (Where the pee comes from.) Maybe your partner's privates weren't clean, and the friction during intercourse allowed the bacteria to spread.

Girls and women alike get this all the time, and it doesn't even have to be from intercourse. Some women just get them and there's not much you can do about it. There's surely over the counter medicine for UTIs at your local pharmacy or drug store. The kind I get are orange pills that make your urine orange/red. It also would not hurt to see a doctor about the blood- that is indeed a cause for alarm.

So I think I might have a UTI but with brown discharge?

UTI's do NOT produce an odor! I have re-occuring UTI's and have had about 100 of them in the last decade and they absolutely do not cause an odor from the crotch or give you any strange discharge from the vagina area. A UTI just causes pain with or after urination and often times the feeling that you need to empty your bladder frequently just to find out that there was only about an ounce of urine in there! Why would you associate your symptoms with a UTI anyway? Not trying to be rude, but odor and disharge definatley spell vaginal problems, not urinary tract. Most STD's take time to surface anyways, so don't be too quick to rule that out either. More than likely its an infection though.

Light brown discharge and uti?

It could be a few things, and may be related to the UTI or coincidence:

-Implantation bleeding (rule out if you know you can't be pregnant, or take a test to be sure)
-Spotting/"in-between periods" bleeding (especially if on the Pill or other birth control)
-Yeast infection
-Irritation from sex or masturbation
-Irritation from the UTI, especially if it reached your bladder (this would mean the small amount of blood in your discharge was actually from your urethra, not vagina like the other possibilities)

I've experienced light brown discharge from all of these at one point, and all were normal in each particular context. Antibiotics stopped working for my UTIs after a while, so I started taking 2 to 6 cranberry pills a day 2 years ago (I got mine at Kroger in the vitamin section; very cheap!) and I haven't had a UTI since. I also eat yogurt and drink a lot of water to keep away yeast infections, and I haven't had one since last year when we were trying to conceive.

I'd take a pregnancy test if you're sexually active, just to know for sure, and then get the UTI treated if you haven't already. No worries, though--every woman gets some random discharge now and then!

What's wrong with me? i'm bleeding but it's not my period, hurts when I pee, I have to go to the toilet lots.?

I absolutely agree with "allisons" except for one thing: she really can't say you "definitely" have a UTI. That would have to be diagnosed by a physician after submitting a urine sample for a urinalysis. The liklihood that you have a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection...or bladder infection) is great, just going on your stated symptoms. You don't say how much you are bleeding, but mild infections don't usually cause bleeding. You could have a really serious infection. Usually the urine might be a bit pink-tinged if you are bleeding with a UTI. You might also have a gynecological problem going on as well, so you REALLY need to see a doctor.

Drink lots of water and cranberry juice is also helpful. To relieve the pain and frequency of urination, take AZO-Standard, an over-the-counter medication specifically for UTI. It is extremely helpful. But just to let you know, don't be alarmed when your pee turns a bright orange. That is a normal side effect of AZO and is just due to some dye in the drug used to numb the urinary tract. The only down side when people use AZO is that they start feeling better and assume they don't need to go to the doctor. That is not true. You aren't curing the UTI at all, just numbing the pain, so you are still going to need antibiotics to get rid of the infection.

Chlamydia symptoms the next day? Or uti?

My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and anal as well. The next day, (less than 24 hours) I had a horrible urgency to pee all the time and pain while peeing. I also had pains in my back where my kidneys are but on one side. I went to my doctor and told him my symptoms and he prescribed me cipro 500mg. I've been taking it and so far my symptoms have gone away except a TINY pressure when I pee but I'm still taking my antibiotics. I also got a yeast infection from the antibiotics so I was prescribed medication for that as well. Just now I wiped and it looked like spotting of blood. Of course, I googled alot of things and am now afraid!! While I was having sex with my boyfriend, he did *** inside me so I took a plan b the next morning. My question is, can symptoms (even tho rare) of chlamydia show the very NEXT day? Or am I just freaking myself out? My doctor just assumed it was a UTI so didn't even test me. I don't know if the spotting is my period coming (irregular) the plan b, a chance of me being pregnant, or chlamydia! Help!!!!
