Oh My Iphoe 5 How Can I Unsync My Macbook

How do I sync contacts from my iPhone to my Mac?

Howdy!  I would suggest this process:*do not connect iPhone to computer*1. Open iTunes->Edit->Preferences, Click on tab "Devices" and check "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically.2. Connect iPhone to computera. Select the device from left hand paneb. Go to "Info" and check mark "Sync Contacts" and choose the correct type of contacts from the drop down. If your laptop and iPhone contacts are different and the phone is up to date vs the laptop you may want to back up the laptop and purge it. If it were me, that is what I would do. I would backup my contacts on the laptop first then purge the address book, then sync my phone back into the contact list. I would do this mainly so nothing was lost/duplicated or any other possible problem that could arise. From there I would then merge the backup into the client again. I have done this previously and then used www.scrubly.com to remove/merge duplicates. I didn't really want to export to xls and clean up the contacts on 2900 or so entries!

My new apple headphones broke inside my jack on my iPhone?

I would suggest going to your local beauty supply store and ask a store rep for the smallest needle nose tweezer's they sell, it might be quite possible you can gently pick it out your self using a magnet while trying to pull it out . If you get them small enough you might not need a magnet, they have really tiny ones! And they are very pin pointed at the end and sharp.!almost forgot the most important part buy a replace jack on eBay an install the new one .im sure you can do it better then apple tech
I try to do a lot of things myself when it comes to my iPhone because I don't trust anyone and I feel I can do it better, like the time I switched from my 3GS to a 4 gs , the memory card slot was smaller in the 4gs and I had to slice it to fit.
Check the hardware store also , my ex husband is a diesel mechanic , I used to see all types of small tool's in his tool box.
If that doesn't work, try searching it on YouTube, they have hundreds of fix it yourself tutorials for the iPhone from how to take it apart and put it back together to fixing a broken screen ect,
And if all my suggestions fail , contact Apple , and hope you get to speak to a real human being instead of a robot .
Good luck

How can I connect a Canon T6i to my Macbook Pro?

I just bought the Canon T6i a few months ago, and I haven't been able to connect it to my Macbook Pro. I have Yosemite version 10.10.5 on my laptop, when I try to connect it via USB it does not appear on my laptop, and when I try to connect it via WIFI the computer option does not appear on my camera. The day I bought it I remember that the camera did go into computer mode when I connected it via USB, I didn't open any apps with it because it was new, and also I used to see an Icon in my camera that was the option to connect my camera to my laptop via WIFI. But now I don't get any of them.

How do I sync the "Notes" app between my iPhone and my Mac laptop?

First off, lets put some definitions and assumptions:Notes app is the actual app, named Notes, on both the iPhone and the Mac OS X. As some other answer states there is an app, called Stickies on the Mac OS X, and this question/answer is NOT about that."Sync the Notes app", means sync the content of the individual notes within the Notes app, not the app executable itself. iPhone 7, means iPhone, running iOS 7.Notes app is the application and notes (lowercase) are the individual items in the app. As you state in the description to the question asked - Apple released a newer version, incompatible with previous versions for both iOS and Mac OS X. The incompatibility comes from the way the notes themselves are stored - the old ones allowed for a very small set of features, mostly text related, whereas the new ones allow for rich media content to live alongside text. Thus, only if you have iOS 9 and Mac OS X El Capitan you can choose to upgrade to this new version and since it is an "upgrade" - no device, capable of reading only the old standard will be able to sync anymore. This is not mandatory, though. I am running El Capitan on a laptop and iOS 9 on my phone, but haven't upgraded, since I've got a Mac, running Yosemite as well and I cannot upgrade on that one, since it is an older machine. Now, the only sane way of syncing Notes between your iOS and OS X devices is through iCloud. You can do it via other means, but I won't go into such solutions, because they have too many prerequisites. Here's only one to have a look at - Evernote.I assume you haven't upgraded to the new notes standard, since both iOS 7 and OS X Yosemite don't support it. Once you install iOS 9 or OS X El Capitan, when you run Notes it will ask you if you would like to Upgrade or not.To sync your Notes you have to be logged into the same iCloud account on all your devices. Under the Settings app, under iCloud to have Notes, switched ON on each individual device. That's it. iCloud will sync your notes on all device that are connected as per above. It may take some time if you've got a lot of notes.Oh, and you have to have an Internet connection, of course. They don't sync via Bluetooth or something.Good luck.

How do you remove mail app on iPod Touch 5 with iOS 6.0?

My child is using a new iPod touch with my apple ID and iCloud account so that we can share games, movies, songs, etc. But now he's seeing all of my text and email messages too. I'd like him to still have access to my calendar, but that's it. If I remove the mail app on his iTouch, will it screw up mail on all of my other apple devices?

Should I be concerned about the virus detection alerts on my iPhone?

Yes, you should be concerned. I got that same pop-up on my iPhone. (It uses the Google logo to try to look "official" but it obviously isn't with the date next to the logo represented as Tuesday 18, 2017 as well as "(2) virus have been detected..." (sic)). SEE SCREENSHOT BELOW. Within a day or two later, my "Contacts" had a good portion of the data wiped clean. Note, I do not use the Chrome browser on my iPhone but Safari, so that is not the origin. In fact, I do not have any idea what the origin is as I have not opened any odd e-mails or such. I am wondering though whether this was somehow mediated by the enormous Yahoo data hack.

A few days ago, I got a pop-up requiring me to re-enter my Yahoo account password. Unfortunately, this is fairly routine for Yahoo accounts, so I thought nothing of it, though it was different from usual in that it next took me directly to Settings and was trying to get me to change some things such that they were more permissive. Fortunately I kept each item maximally restrictive, though, if this was part of the hacker’s design, it did not completely protect me.

Why would Apple remove the headphone jack from their new iPhone?

To make the phone thinner. It could be looked at like when they stopped putting floppy drives on computers, then CD drives on computers. Could be the start of the end of headphone ports & on to something better.

How can I remove photos from my iPhone, if they've already been imported via Photo Stream?

It's not about deleting from Photo Stream, but delete pictures from the iPhone itself, after they were imported by Photo Stream to the Photo app on the Mac. The Photo app on the Mac shows all pictures from the iPhone as "imported already", but there is no way to remove them. The only way is to import them a second time and have them deleted on the iPhone afterwards, which results in duplicates. Any suggestions?
