Ok So Then If Military Police Isnt A Good One To Try To Make The Fbi Hrt Then What Army Job Should

How does the FBI’s HRT selection compare to the Navy SEALs and Special Forces?

Let’s start with what HRT, Seal Team 6, Army Special Forces, and Delta Force ARE.HRT: The FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team is America’s PREMIERE SWAT team with focus on hostage rescue and is solely focused on that one task. It exists for when all other SWAT units have failed (starting with local, then I believe the FBI has two tiers of SWAT before HRT if I remember correctly). It is a LAW ENFORCEMENT unit first and foremost. Its closest equivalent is none of the units you listed; rather Germany’s GSG-9, Israel’s Yamam, among others.Navy SEALS: Sea Air Land are sailors retrained as the US Navy’s premier small unit tactics team and specializes in waterborne missions (compared to the other units). Navy SEALs primarily specialize in Direct Action, waterborne interdiction missions and Special Reconnaissance missions. Hostage Rescue is a specific type of Direction Action mission, such as the rescue of Jessica Lynch, among many others. They are considered a Tier 2 group, as I understand it.Special Forces: US Army Special Forces, better known as Green Berets, are the Army’s premier specialists in unconventional and irregular warfare and foreign internal defense. They also do Special recon, direct action (including hostage rescue), and counter insurgency. Notice that they too are qualified to conduct hostage rescue. However, direct action is not their primary mission (unless assigned to a direct action team) and therefore they will not be as sharp at it.I think your real question is: “who’s better, A, B or C?” I’m trying to point out that it’s not about who’s “better” or “tougher” or more “bad ass.” It’s about who’s best suited to the job. The Israelis discovered the hard way that you can’t use a military unit in a civilian environment; you have to use a dedicated civilian (i.e. law enforcement) unit for that and that’s exactly what both GSG-9 and Yamam are. Now, the remaining units:Seal Team 6: takes the best US Navy SEALs and makes them more focused on Direct Action and Counter Terrorism. ST6 is a tier 1 unit.Delta Force: takes the US Army’s best (Rangers, Green Berets) and others (civilians, STG and US Navy SEALs) and makes them still better, especially at counter terrorism and direct action.

Can a British citizen become an FBI special agent?

Under the FBI requirements, an applicant must either be a Natural Born Citizen of the U.S. or a Naturalized Citizen of the U.S.If you are able to obtain your US citizenship, then you fulfill one of the minimum requirements as an FBI Agent.I am not sure whether Dual Citizenship is allowed, it would be best to check on their website and find out, I’m sure having dual citizenship would be a security issue, as having Dual Citizenship would not give you security clearance for certain jobs. So, unless the FBI finds out that your a vital National interest for an operation or specific job that they would need to complete, I’m sure they could make “special arrangements”, but I am not sure, since I’ve never worked for the FBI.I hope this helps !

If someone who owned a tank, had it fully crewed with ammunition, decided to go on a rampage across a city, how would the police respond? Would the military get involved?

Well, it depends on where it happens. In the US, the military is prohibited from enforcing the law by the Posse Comitatus Act - Wikipedia, so the police would have to wait until the tank got stalled and then use bolt cutters to take off the hatch cover and shoot the driver. That is what happened in San Diego. However, in a British Commonwealth country, local authorities can call in the military on their own initiative to deal with an emergency. In Britain, the Queen is Commander in Chief of the military, but has other things to do, (e.g. walk her corgies) so the military does what they think the Queen would like them to do if she wasn’t busy. In this case, take out the tank. The other Commonwealth countries are similar in that the military responds to local emergencies without waiting for orders from above. Local authorities can call in the Armed Forces in an emergency without national government authorization. So, in Canada, the police would call the Canadian Army and say, “One of your tanks has been hijacked and is running amok!”, the Army would call the Royal Canadian Air Force and say, “One of our tanks has been hijacked and is running amok!”, and the RCAF would say “No problem”.The RCAF would send in an F18 supersonic jet fighter and take out the tank with a Hellfire missile, or something similar. This sort of thing does not often happen in Canada because authorities are usually on top of the situation and stop it before it happens. Nobody has ever stolen a tank. Of course the Canadian Army has its own tanks and if someone else has a tank, they know how to take it out. There have been instances in which the Canadian Army has been called in to deal with urban riots, Usually they treat it as a foreign invasion, as per Canadian Army standards, charge in with tanks and armored personnel carriers, set up machine gun nests and flamethrowers at all intersections, put snipers on all rooftops, and then ask local authorities, “Now what do you want us to do?” Usually by this time the rioters are running away as fast as possible. There have been instances in which local authorities have called out the Army to deal with an early season snowstorm. The Army responded, but was not happy about shoveling snow and billed the city for it. I’m thinking about Toronto, here. They will not live that one done down until everyone who remembers it dies.
