Okay So I Had A Dream I Was Going To Somebody House And He Opened The Door Then Somebody Else Comes

What does it mean when i dream of a family member commiting suicide?

Pay special attention to your cousin right now..be her SHADOW. I'm not saying she would commit suicide for sure, but 'something' is troubling her and your mind picked up on it with this vivid dream. The 'colors' you saw were to 'make an imprint' in your dream...so that you would take it seriously. If you know 'something' about her that COULD be the issue, do NOT leave her alone to take care of it even if she TELLS YOU TO.
Do some checking to find out WHAT is wrong...it may end up being something much less severe than what would cause suicide...dreams are symbolic. She may just FEEL like dying...much different than DOING IT. But in any event she NEEDS YOU something is going on!

How do I tell if somebody's coming in my room while I'm gone?

The tennis ball method is pretty dang good there, but if you’re assuming the person might actually be cautious enough to check under the door for a trap, they may just look under the door and see the tennis ball there, note its location and then put it back when they leave.Alternately, you could take a piece of paper, then draw on it (something inimitable, if you have terrible handwriting this should be easy). Then, tape this behind your doorknob onto your door, not interrupting the door frame. Then, tape either a marker, pen, pencil, general imprinting scratch mechanism, etc., something to that effect onto the door knob so that it will create an exact semicircle, as the doorknob turns, onto the paper. Probably test this out on a couple pieces of paper so you can be confident it’s just right. When you close the door, don’t turn the doorknob, and use a fresh paper without the precise semicircle on it.Then, tape a string (or just use one long piece of tough tape or something) to the top of the paper and behind it, and run it down the door just above the eye-line at the bottom of the door.Close the door without turning the knob and then when you return, just run your finger along the bottom to find your drawstring, and pull it so the paper will rip off, leaving a mark very unlike the semicircle the doorknob would have left had it been turned. The downside to this method is that if the person does sneak in, they’ll almost certainly notice they’ve been had and can then conduct a lie/reasoning for entering your room. The tennis ball nicely avoids this.*edited for clarity

If someone breaks into your house with a gun, what are you not legally allowed to do to them? E.g. can you tie them up and stick them in your basement?

In the eyes of the law, you may use all reasonable and necessary force, including lethal force, to defend yourself and others. So what does that mean?It means if someone breaks into your home and poses an imminent threat to your safety you can use whatever force is needed to prevent him completing that threatened act. If the guy kicks in your front door and charges you then just about any force is acceptable. However… if someone forces open a door or window, comes inside, sits down on your sofa, drinks your beer while watching ESPN, but ignores your commands to leave or get on the floor, there is no immediate threat. Keep him at gunpoint, call the police. If he moves towards you it becomes a judgement call.Assuming you’ve managed to force him to give up without having to shoot him, the legal system is likely to look upon you unfavorably if you…Torture the intruder.Maim the intruder or break bones after he has given up resistance.Cause other unnecessary injuries or subject him to abuse.Humiliate or degrade the intruder after he’s given up resistance.Tie him up and move him from your residence to a place other than jail.Keep him prisoner, especially without proper care & food.Force him into involuntary servitude (i.e. slavery).Put make-up on his face to make him look like a drag queen.Use him like a piñata.Shave his belly with a rusty razor (even if he is a drunken sailor). You need not treat him with kid gloves and be nice to him. You can restrain him until the authorities show up (not fair waiting hours to call them though). If he attempts to free himself you can prevent him from doing so as long as any injuries were necessary and/or a result of his attempt to free himself. On the other hand, if the intruder threatened you with the gun or fired at you and in response you have shot him, whether you render any kind of aid is a judgement call. I’d make sure he doesn’t still have the gun and can’t get to it before rendering aid. Rendering aid isn’t required if you believe danger still exists.

It's 4 AM. You're sleeping, then you hear noises and footsteps downstairs. What do you do?

I live downstairs so technically if I here anything more downstairs-er than that. I’ll crap myself probably. Anyways, if I hear something coming from in front of my house (entrance) , that’s an easy one because I’ve played that scenario a lot of times in my head ,probably because I keep hearing weird noises and I’ve formulated a plan.I’ll lock my room’s door and just yell, bro “get the gun, there’s someone there”, followed by a call to my neighbors to alert everyone.Unfortunately, I don’t have any firearm, so that yelling is just a lie that hopefully will rattle the intruders to leave the house (if any).Being in Pakistan, the police response time is super shitty so that’s why I’ll resort to neighbor as they can encircle the house and I’ve known them since childhood and almost all of them own a gun (few of them have AK-47 too, allegedly).I hope that I won’t have to do that ever but the plan is there.

Had a dream my bf was having sex with his ex?

It doesn't mean anything. i had a dream i was with my ex recently and she passed away 10 years ago.

They are just thoughts you may have through the day or a period of days that get all jumbled around and come out in a dream, its nothing and don't read into it at all.GL

Am I moving things while I sleep? or is it something ELSE?!?

This has happened to me a few times already. When I wake up, there are things that have been moved while I was sleeping. The reason I notice is because they are pretty significant things. Like I keep a jar of coins on the table next to my bed, and when I woke up it was on my bed behind me. Also, everytime before I go to sleep, I put my laptop under something because power light fades in and out and prevents me from sleeping. Last night I KNOW I put it under some shorts and I woke up in the middle of the night because the laptop was pointing straight at me and the light bugged the crap out of me. It usually doesn't really freak me out, its actually more kind of funny because the items moved are pretty random.

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you have similar experiences. I'm pretty sure its probably just me while I sleep moving stuff around like a weirdo, but who knows. O-O heh heh

Why would someone come knock frantically on your door and then drive away?

Just a minute ago a man came to my front door, knocked and rang the doorbell frantically, and then got in his truck and drove off. I was checking my email when I heard the knocking and all. I threw on my pants and shirt in a matter of a few seconds, and then ran to the window to see who it was. I saw a hispanic man getting into a truck with a lawnmower in the back. He drove off really quickly without stopping at any other houses.
The thing that weirded me out was how quickly and urgently the man had knocked, rang, and then got in his truck and drove off before I even had a chance to get to the door at running speed. The whole thing was over in a matter of about 20 or 30 seconds.
I thought it could be possible that he came to ask to mow our yard- but most of the grass in our yard is dead already, and he didn't stop to ask at any other houses.
Should I call the police or am I overreacting? There is a high crime rate where I live and I worry about weird things like that. So- what could have caused this man to do that? What should I do?
