Old Traffic Ticket Haunting Me What Will Happen

How do I take care of all my old traffic tickets and warrents without going to jail.?

Depends how far away you live from the jurisdiction in which the warrants were issued. If it is too far away the department may not rive there to pick you up and take you back to court.

Go to the phone book and look up one of those law services which provides free legal advice to those whom cannot afford an attorney. they are usually called Legal Services or something. call the Bar Association in your town they can also recommend an attorney, perhaps one who will do it for free.

Better take care of it ASAP. Sooner or later you'll be stopped for some reason or other. You do not want your kids to be there when you are placed in handcuffs do you?

Do I have to pay a speeding ticket after the officer who wrote the ticket is fired?

The short answer is YES.If you move to a state which has certain agreements in place with your previous home state you could be prevented from getting a license in your home state or worse. Even if they don’t if you get pulled over driving in your old home state you could be arrested and so http://on.so a $200 ticket could cost you upwards of 5 grand in lawyer costs fees and fines plus you could wind up with a criminal record, maybe lose your job , my advice is man up you made a mistake pay the fine and live your life in peace

Do traffic tickets affect employment? Why or why not?

Many traffic tickets in fact carry jail time (eg driving without a license), and even the others can affect employment if they show up on your background check and reveal irresponsibility or an inability to take care of your obligations.

What happens if you leave Australia with a debt?

As mentioned previously it depends on the size of the debt and who it is that is seeking payment. It also depends on the cost of pursuing the debt. A civil debt may not be pursued due to the costs involved and there may be legal obstacles. In some cases civil debt will be sold to a debt collection agency. I have even seen them for auction on eBay!A civil debt expires in 12 years and cannot be pursued after the time expires.A Government debt will usually await your return to the country unless it is a very substantial amount.Bank debts as far as I am aware are not chased unless they are substantial, say 10s of thousands or more. Your credit rating will be reduced and the debt will usually be written off after a period. Banks insure themselves against debt by increasing costs to consumers and through investment of customer funds.

USA car got parking ticket in Canada?

i'd ignore it.. chances are they never ever bother tracking you down for it acorss the border like that and you never hear about it again. Consider it a tourists perogative. .

Mind you if it is from a parking company like Impark becareful not to park in one of their lots again if in Canada as they can scan their lots for people who owe them money (by license plate) and tow your car.

I let my teenage cousin rape me :(?

I am 24 years old and my one cousin is 15.

Anyways I just got a new job in a different city and to start out I stayed at my aunts house until I found my own apartment. It is my aunt and my two cousins aged 8 and 15 who live there.

I always felt awkward around my 15 year old cousin because he always was checking me out, looking me up and down and flirting with me.

Anyways one night we had a BBQ and I drank alot of wine with my aunt. Well since she had guests I ended up sleeping in her bed since my bed (the guest bedroom) was being occupied by visitors.

I passed out I was quite drunk. I woke up in the middle of the night and felt someone touching me and pulled off my underwear. I opened my eyes slightly and it was my cousin. I was in shock I didn't know what to do so I closed my eyes again. One second later he was having sex with me. I was awake the whole time but I was in such shock and his mom (my aunt) was sleeping right beside me. I was awake but I kept my eyes closed the whole time and pretended I was asleep I didn't know what to do.

The next morning I went straight to planned parenthood and took the plan b morning after pill because I didn't know if he did it inside me.

Well a week later I was back in the guest room asleep and my cousin came in and started again. This time when I woke up I screamed his name and said what are you doing in here! Get out! And he pretended he was sleepwalking and closed his eyes and left my bedroom.

I feel so sick becuase the first time he did it I basically let him I guess since i was awake but didn't stop him. I have since moved out but this has haunted me ever since. Idont know what to do.

What happens after a police welfare check?

Couple years ago I was depressed/suicidal and a friend called the nonemergency to ask to do a welfare check on me. I ended up giving my info after stating I was fine and wanted to go back to sleep. Two-three years later I'm wondering what that officer did with my information...like would it possibly be on record?? At the time he said that it was so if anything did happen he would know..but then again....those are just words. I just need to know something won't come up in a background check or anything as I am better and would rather not have my past "haunt" me (you know what I mean).

Thanks in advance!

Going AWOL while in basic training.?

'Ere we go again! Listen I work as a JAG NCO and before that I was an Infantry Platoon SGT and Basic Training Instructor at FT. Sill. So I've seen all ends of this from 'Flash to Bang' as we say.

1st, the 'person' is looked for, but not too hard after a couple of days. They are new and haven't qualified as a Soldier yet anyway. Most return on their own, but a redflag is put out. As soon as they get a speeding ticket or something that causes and arrest (it always happens), the cops take them back to the nearest military authority.

From there, they are normally quickly outprocessed, discharged and some back money taken along with some rank if they are be reduced. Most of the time it's not even worth the effort and they are just booted.

We do and have people on the lamb since the Korean War and guess what? We still get them! No one is actually looking for them but their records are in the system (SSNs!) and everywhere they go they most be careful. Alot just turn themselves in due the shame and fear after years on the run. Plus, you normally get DFR (dropped from rolls) after 30 days in a regular unit and that's a whole different story (a would be a long email) especially in a time of war.

As for dishonorable discharges....don't believe all this stuff people are telling about them. This ain't the French Foreign Legion. You have to like be a murder/child molester type to get one of those. Commit an war atrocity, desert during a combat mission or sell drugs to dozens, then you'll probably see one. Just for being a 'jellyfish' in Basic, nah.
