Omg Can Someone Help With My Homework Im About To Go Crazy If Some Don

I can't finish my homework?

“I didn’t understand the homework question, could you explain it to me so I can give it a second go?” BUT ask right at the start of class rather than just waiting until she asks for you to hand in the homework, that way it looks like you genuinely didn't understand it, she can't be mad at you if you need help right?

"I left it on the kitchen table last night and my little brother/sister/cousin drew all over it, it was too late to start it again, I was going to do it in the morning but I just didn’t have enough time."

Why do children have homework?

Home work is assigned by teachers that really don't know how to get the same amount of work accomplished in the class room. In other words, for whatever reason, the teacher squanders the class room time too teach and then must assign the work they should have done in class as home work and WALLAH! They get some one else to do their job.

School without homework???

Yes:

Sudbury Valley School

Freehaven School

...aw, heck

Any "Democratic" or "Sudbury" school will not have homework.

In fact, you don't even technically have to take classes. Yet these kids are some of the smartest graduates in the world.

How can I convince my mom to let me stay home for one day?

This is what I’d do:Tell her you will do the homework near her. Do your best to contain the pain (don’t moan). She’s your mother; she can read the pain in your face.If there’s some other reason you’re dreading school tomorrow, come clean. You do not want to “cry wolf” on menstrual pain because there will be times when it completely wipes you out, and you need people to trust you. Even if you say “well, to be honest, my friend is being kind of mean to me but I also feel really crappy with cramps.” It’s also normal to have low spirits when you are in pain for a while.I agree: absolutely use a heating pad, or put rice in a sock and heat that (no water, just dry). Do as much of the homework as you can. Do it in little pieces. In general, make a calendar and keep track of when you get your period, how long it lasts, and which days you feel enough pain that it’s impossible to concentrate. You will know in advance what’s going to happen and you can plan around it. If you know a month ahead of time that you’re quite likely to feel absolutely horrible around final exams, your teachers can do something about it (they may not; but they can). If you wake up that morning and it’s a surprise, it’s much more difficult. As for taking ibuprofen, if you are prone to getting cramps, you should take it the moment you get your period, and then every 4–6 hours as directed until you’re through the days you normally would have cramps. If you don’t get cramps every time, then you CAN wait but the moment you begin to think you’re probably getting cramps, you need to have the advil and some water with you to take it right away. The way it works is that it’s a “prostaglandin-inhibitor” which means that it prevents your body (“inhibits”) from making the chemicals that your brain uses to know you’re in pain (“prostaglandins”). So you need to get ahead of the pain for it to really work well.Talk to your doctor for more advice on that, and to make sure you’re not taking too much for your weight.(I had absolutely horrible, couldn’t-even-watch-TV level of pain for at least two days every month. If childbirth is 10 out of 10, this was an 8. I considered myself lucky because I didn’t throw up, as some of my friends did. They gave me sedatives, because back then they decided women were “hysterical” for complaining; that didn’t work at all, it just made me feel loopy and in agony. When I had my son 25 years ago, the menstrual pain became much less.)

Omg...I got a bad grade in science...?

and trust me, this is NOT good for me. I got a C in my interim, and now I'm all depressed and upset and confused. I don't even really know HOW I got a C. My parents also have to sign my interim and I'm nervous because they might get mad at me...

Please help me... I want to bring my grade back up. Do you have any advice?
