What are your personal experiences with Hanuman Chalisa?

One of my seniors, in her second year of engineering committed suicide. I was in my first year then and our hostel rooms were in the basement of an under construction block on the other side of the hostel campus. If we opened our room windows we could see thick shrubbery, trees and an eleven feet wall. It was 2001 and we didn't have cell phones or internet as common as now. There were power cuts too.Now imagine the state of mind of a home sick seventeen year old at that time and in that atmosphere. Not just me, almost all my mates were terribly scared during nights. To top that, we had to pass the room, in which our senior died, to go to the mess hall.It was then I remembered my little Hanuman Chalisa booklet. I would recite it daily without fail, for it gave me strength and courage. Some of my friends saw me reading from the booklet and asked what it was. I told them and happily shared it with them as well. They too felt a little comfortable after reading it and started reciting it daily. It was then I got a dream. In the dream, I was reciting Hanuman Chalisa when someone started abusing and mocking me. She was telling me, “Why do you even bother to read it? It does nothing and you are misleading and lying to others about it” and some other nasty stuff. I got angry and replied saying that, “ You are wrong, Hanuman Ji himself comes and listens to it whenever we recite it. I'm not lying to anyone, it's the truth”. And suddenly there was this huge monkey, with a yellow shawl, having “Sri Ram” written all over it and with Thiru Naamam on its forehead. It comes to me and tells me “Don't bother what others say, learn it, recite it, and I'll be there”. I woke up right after that. After 16 years, the dream is still fresh in my mind. Reciting Hanuman chalisa gives me peace and strength when I'm weak, gives me hope when I'm down, gives me happiness when I'm sad. It does so for everyone who recites it whole heartedly.Hope I answered your question.Shri Ram Bhakta Hanuman ki Jai

What does Waylon Jennings son "Aint no God in Mexico" mean?

Billy Joe Shaver wrote the song. I have his auobiogrphy and in it , he says he wrote the song or was inspired to write it from a weeklong experience he had in Mexico which he was in jail.

Here is the excerpt from the book...
Every night the three of us walked across the border to check out the bars in Matamoros. Not surprisingly, I eventually got arrested, though surprisingly, it wasn’t for fighting—I got drunk and started throwing bottles around a bar.

"The Mexican police wore me out with a power hose and then threw me in a tiny cell by myself. They called my parents to try to get some money out of them, but my stepfather wouldn’t go my bail. I was in there for about a week. I managed to hide a few bucks on my person before they shook me down.
Most of the other prisoners didn’t speak English, but the guy in the next cell understood me one day when I asked him for a cigarette.
“It’ll cost you a dollar” he said.
I gave him a dollar and he passed the cigarette over to me
“Hey man, pass me a match” I said
“cost you a dollar”
So I gave him another dollar and he sent over the match. Before I could strike it, he said, “Don’t strike it on the wall—you need to use a special surface for the match to work” It was a safety match, so I had to pay another dollar for the striker to light the match.
That damned cigarette cost me three dollars, and ruined any good feelings I had left about Mexico. “This a bad place to be” I thought to myself. “Ain’t no God in this place”
My song, “Aint no God in Mexico” which Waylon Jennings recorded on Honky Tonk Heroes, is based on that week of my life."

.........................................
So, his reference to Louise is about his not learning earlier in life to know when not to cross the line, which he did, in front of God and everyone, in Mexico and landed in jail.

He got railroaded by the other guy in jail for a cigarette and matches.

The other respondent is correct in that it is filled with metaphors and while this may not answer your question, I thought you might be interested in what little knowledge I had on the background of the song.

If you are interested in reading it, email me.

What are Maynard James Keenan's religious views?

Tool was my favorite band for a while, and it's still essentially tied as one of my 4 favorite bands. I still don't know the answer to this question with 100% certainty.

I even used to be a part of a tool message board, where I had a post count number over 2,000. Even there, there was no final consensus on Maynard's religious views.
He doesn't seem to be religious, but he could be 'spiritual' in some sense. He might still believe in god (he might be a non-religious theist).
The songs for his mother off of the 10,000 days album could be his way of saying goodbye, whether he believes in an afterlife or not. Sort of like a homage to HER beliefs, rather than his own. (The song(s) is/are about her after all, not really himself.)

Sorry I can't give you a 'for sure' answer.

What are the secrets that cricketers shared?

Since I am a great fan of Rawalpindi Express, I am sharing a hidden and amazing secret that Shoaib Akhtar shared in an interview with Harsha Bhogle. We all know that Shoaib stayed out of matches consistently due to his injuries. Shoaib revealed during the interview with Harsha Bhogle that there was a mystery of his aches and pains. He revealed that there was hyper mobility in his knee joints. They moved too much which cause excessive friction and this led to the build up of fluids accompanying with immense pain. Shoaib was suffering from this during 1998–1999 and it was the time when he just started his career as a fast bowler. In an interview, Shoaib said Pakistan’s team physician Dan Kiesel asked him to avoid playing continously in a series due to his knee condition. Since, Shoaib was young at that time, he didn’t want to comprehend.Shoaib told Harsha Bhogle that Dan Kiesel was well known about his knee condition and Dan was aware about the way PCB takes decision. Dan has clearly told the Shoaib not to reveal his condition to the board.Shoaib’s main problem was that his knees frequently fill up with fluid and broken pieces of cartilege and it was a very serious problem. Shoaib used to visit clinic every morning before the match to get rid of the fluid and swelling in the knee. The physician used to drain fluid by plunging a syringe into the knee.Shoaib followed this regime for long time.Shoaib also revealed during the interview that some days his knees got so bad, he had to crawl towards the bathroom to get soaked into a hot water tub in order to lessen the pain and swelling. He has to take anti-inflammatory tablet before every match. Please watch this video as well:It simply shows the courage and determination of Rawalpindi Express which and every cricket fan will love it.
