Question: What is the best girl’s one-piece bathing suit for a guy?There are a mind boggling number of one piece swimsuits to choose from ranging from young super sexy to mature super conservative and regardless of which you choose you WILL stand out like a sore thumb.However…That being said I have often worn a womens one piece swimsuit in public and remarkably have had very few problems .Basically I buy (womens) swimsuits that are marketed for mature women, not because of my age (64) but because…They cover more of the torso and derrièreThe leg openings are usually not cut highThe bosom is not overly defined/accentuatedDo not have that thong look in the rearI’ll also…Stick with solid colors as opposed to printsSelect dark colors that are very toned down such as navy, black, dark green, dark grey, brown, etc.Avoid v-neck designs opting for a leotard look insteadAvoid swimsuits with built in bras so my chest is not accentuated however, I do own a few mastectomy one piece swimsuits for when I do want a little projection with my swim breastforms.Always wear (womens) swimsuit shorts with my swimsuit when not in the waterAvoid public venues that cater towards families such as amusement parks that also have swimming pools/lagoons or non adult only beaches or poolsOne feature I always insist upon when looking for a new swimsuit is a low back design. This is really great for hot tubs, whirlpools and jacuzzis as I like to sit down in front of a water jet with my back facing the water jet to feel the water massaging my back!! :).BTW: What I’ve written here is true in all respects but admittedly because of my (right) leg amputation I now rarely wear a (womens) swimsuit because it is difficult for me to safely get in/out of a swimming pool unassisted. :(

I love body pride and appreciate Melinda Gaebel's bold answer, but I disagree... I do think that you have to be able to rock it out to walk around in what is, in most cases, as little or less than your underwear, unless the body of water in question is in your backyard.(Men: You, too. Wear a bit more than a Speedo at the beach unless you can rock it out.)

Absolutely, there are great looking styles out there (and plenty of boring or down-right ugly ones too. You absolutely want to find the right size/style/color for your body)You can also try an in-between version such as a tankini. It has two pieces but still generally has the coverage of a one piece. Two piece or one piece? (bathing suit)?
I'm a 15 year old girl, and I'm not what you might call fat, but I'm definitely not skinny.. I've recently been invited to a pool party and I'm not sure what kind of bathing suit I should wear. I don't know if I'm quite comfortable in a two piece, but I'm afraid people will make fun of me if I show up in a one piece..because I know all of the girls will be wearing tiny revealing bikinis. But If I show up in a two piece, they might STILL make fun of me because I don't have the greatest body.. I'm really not sure what I should do :( Please help.

Are one piece bathing suits or takinis childish?
I'm 15 years old and I hate bikinis. To me (no offense) it's basically like wearing a bra and an underwear as if your mostly naked. When I see an 8 year old girl wearing a bikini I cringe a bit. XD and I'm not self conscious or anything I just feel over exposed o.o so what are your opinions?

Is it bad wearing one-piece bathing suits?
From a male perspective most girls have got it soooo wrong, because less does not necessarily equal more! Unless you've the booty of a playboy bunny then I'm sorry but bikini's look shite. They show off the tummy bulge, the wobbly thighs, the sagging ****, not to mention the cellulite that could easily be mistaken by a NASA probe as being the lunar surface! :P Your best bet is to find something you look great in, something that makes you stand out from the flock (of sheep), and then you'll be getting far more attention than any other girl on the beach! More often then not, you'll find me looking at a girl thinking "God she looks horrid in that, how on earth does she think it's a good look?!"...where as the girl probably thinks I'm checking her out...'suppose I am, but it's certainly not in a good way! :P I'd go with the suggestion of shorts/boy leg swimmers and a shear top, or a swim dress. They looks sexy as! Edelawit said "don't wear a one piece it makes ppl think you are insecure about your body", on the contrary, I think people who wear bikini's (and don't reside in Heff's mansion), are either blind, deluded, or enjoy being the butt of other peoples jokes (pun intended). Pick up any gossip magazine, and you'll see them taking the piss out of the celebs who think they have bikini bodies. It's what the rest of us do at beaches the world over. Don't be a victim!
Males, do you see the difference between two piece bathing suits and bra and underwear?
Im not a guy, but i agree with you completely. The girls in the girls locker room would never want to take off their shirt or pants infront of eachother, but i mean its the exact same thing as wearing a bikini. Just different material. I dont get why guys get so aroused when they see a woman in only underwear and a bra, but at the beach or pool when they see a woman in a bikini its no big deal.
What do jehovah's witnesses think about two piece bathing suits? (girls preferably)?
tankinis is as close as ill get to a two piece. You have to think about who you are going to be around you. if you are on the beach you want to be careful there will be guys and ladies more than likely so the attention you may attract with a two piece bikini may not give glory to Jehovah. always make sure you ask yourself will this still bring reproch on Jehovah or not. Yes there is different modesty for the beach and out in the street and at the meetings of course no one is saying wear something that covers your whole body from neck down :) but be sure to ake sure you prayerfully make a decision and not worry about what others do.
