I am a 17 years old girl who loves to play Chess. I am playing it for the past 3 years but I am not so good. What should I do?
You need to do tactics daily. Chess.com - Play Chess Online - Free Games - Chess.com provides 5 free tactics daily. You should avoid playing blitz and lightning. Rapid should also be avoided. No one has ever improved playing blitz. You should have knowledge of some openings and endings.Practice openings and endings. Don't try to implement them directly in your games.Play atleast 0.5 hr game on Chess.com - Play Chess Online - Free Games - Chess.com. You can play a game daily if you can. There is no substitute of playing on board. Play chess in reality if you can. Websites are just second option for the ones who can't find a person to play with.Never ever use an engine to learn openings or analyze your game. Engines are beneficial for people at high level.Don't just learn openings, study the reason why each move is played. You should know the outcome of opening played not just first 7–8 moves. Don’t worry you'll figure it out with time. Learning many openings won't help.Have faith in yourself. Don't look others progressing fast and get disheartened. Improve as much as you can. You are your competition.Hope this helps!!!

Dolls prams for older girls.. (Aged 10)?
My wee sister has just turned 10 & is still into dolls. She wants a new dolls pram but all the ones in the shops are really small! I got a silver cross pram for xmas one year when I was about 11 I think & it was like around £90 because it was designed a bit bigger for this age range although I can't seem to see any like that out the now! Will someone help me please? Thanks! (UK stores or online places only please) :)
My 7 year old daughter doesn't get along well with her stepdad anymore because she feels like he only loves our new baby. How do I help her get over this jealousy?
Most children are jealous of a new sibling. Your husband can start by spending time with his seven year old step daughter more frequently.I’m sure that before the new baby came; your daughter was getting a lot more attention.A month or so ago; I took a meal to a family with a brand new baby boy. The little girl’s father’s family were paying a lot of attention to her new brother. She was not very happy and you could plainly see it on her face and in her body language. Her uncles and aunts even her grandparents were fussing over her new brother. She had been the first grandchild and now this new baby was getting all of the attention.I asked the little girl’s mother if I could speak with her. The mother said yes. We walked outside and spoke for a few minutes. I mentioned what I had seen in her daughter. The mother tried to blow me off. I invited her to just look at her daughter. The daughter was standing off to the side and looked very unhappy.I raised four children. I usually purchased a new baby doll for the child who would soon not be the youngest. While I was carrying the baby I would encourage that child to bring their baby with them as I did different things. I made room in the rocking chair while I fed the baby for any of my children who wanted to be up there with us. I found that if I shared my time with my other children that jealousy quickly left.I encourage father’s to take time for the rest of the children. My first husband was very good at this. My second husband; had date nights with all of my children separately. It could be as simple as going to the park or getting an ice cream cone at Dairy Queen. He would talk with them about what was going on in their lives and how school was going. This really established a bond with my children and my second husband.
