What should i wear to a walmart interview?

doesn't really matter what you wear as long as it's ironed and cleaned. but if you wanna make a good impression wear a blue shirt/blouse with some sort of tan pants or kahkis. that's the standard/loose uniform. i know, i'm a courtesy associate/cart pusher. i work there fifty hours a week. also forgot to mention base pay starts out 7.40 unless you live in a state where the minimum is higher.

What are the things we need to carry for an IIM interview?

These are the things you definitely need to carry:Identity cardA printout of your CAT resultYour X, XII and undergrad transcripts (both original and copies)Your work experience certificate and salary slips to prove the duration of your work experienceIn case you are not from general category, your caste certificateIf you have mentioned any achievements (both academic and non-academic) in the form that you filled for the particular IIM, then you need to carry proofs of those achievementsA copy of the form that you had filled for the particular IIMOther than these, you don't necessarily need to carry anything. The panelists don't look at your resume so carrying that is optional.Once you reach the centre, three things happen:Document verificationAWTPINormally, AWT happens before the PI. The document verification keeps going on and you can get that done either before or after your PI, depending on when you get free.Stay calm and give your best. Good luck!

What is the minimum score required in GATE for an interview call for Mechanical Engineering at IISc?

I'm not aware of the latest trends but I had a score of 613 in GATE 2011 (ME paper). I was called for interview in all three departments I applied for- Aerospace, Mechanical and Material Science. One of my friends who had a score of 500 (AIR~2800) applied for Mechanical and Aerospace but got an interview call in Mechanical Engineering. My inference? Cutoff was 500 for Mechanical and 600 for Aerospace in 2011.I am sure it is much higher these days, probably upwards of 600 or 650.Edit: Both of us- my friend and I- managed to clear our interviews. I opted for M.Sc. (Engg) in Aerospace Engineering while he got into the Ph.D. program in Mechanical Engineering.

I need a catchy opening line for my cover letter!?

I've been job searching for about 3 months. I've had a few interviews, but I've decided that my cover letter needs to be updated to get some attention. I'm applying for Administrative Assistant/Accounting/Payroll Positions. I would really like to open my letter with a question... for example.. "Are you looking for an average administrative assistant? If so, please do not read any further." etc... but I know that doesn't flow right.

Any ideas for a catchy first line? It doesn't necessarily have to be a question.

Thanks for your help!

I am asked to make a 30 minute interview with someone but write 10 pages about it?

I would pick someone really, really...really interesting and extremely long winded. Then when you use quotes from their interview you can use block form if it's more than five lines and it will take up more space.

You'll want to prepare quite a few questions for a 20 to 30 minute interview. I'd recommend a minimum of 15 open ended (meaning they can't be answered with yes or no) questions. That means an average of 2 minute answers per question. And when you figure that some questions will probably take longer than 2 minutes to answer, that's probably a safe bet. It's always better to have more questions than you need than not enough. Also, more questions means more topics. More topics usually means a longer paper, and with a ten page to fifteen page beast, you need as much material as you can gather.
