Thermostat stuck open...quick fix???
If its stuck open then there shouldnt be any immediate threat of overheating. Your fuel mileage will suffer a little and your heater will take longer to get to temp. Changing the thermostat is simple. Usually you just take off the radiator hose and then remove two bolts and out the thermostat falls. Remember to buy a new one that when it fails will fail open. Dont forget the gasket and new coolant. Reassembly is the reverse. If you are still confused get a manual at your local parts store or ask them for advice. It is very simple. Should take no longer than 30 min.
Is there a quick way to search for an open tab among many open browser windows?
This is one of the biggest annoyances with Chrome. There is an add-on called Tabs Outliner, which is extremely clever but still a little awkward to use. (The ability to see the tab previews in the Windows taskbar is about the only reason I might use IE.)Update: At some point since writing this, Chrome added, or I became aware of, a “Task Manager”. Right-click the top right of the Chrome window to open it. It helps, but does not preview the tabs.
How should I open a carry my ka-bar for a quick draw?
Because we don't know where you live, it's impossible to say yes or no. Some states and countries have different laws on blades, the same with firearms. CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS! But for this, let's say that wherever you are, it is legal to open carry a knife.So, here are some things to consider.Where are you? Are you in a city or a forest, etc.Why do you need to "quick draw" your knife?How the hell would you conceal a Ka-Bar?Anyway, it's up to you, but CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS!Edit: I read the question wrong, but I will keep this answer up as a reminder that it is important to check your local laws.

Dear Sir A few suggestions, 1) There is a reserve chute, try it.... but if your main chute isn't opening then what are the chances you packed your reserve right? 2) Enjoy the scenery......... for a little while at least... The view will slowly get worse. 3) Depending on what altitude you started at you might have enough time to read the label on your chute and write a note letting the ground crew know your opinion of the company... Make sure this is put somewhere save. 4) You are probably reaching 500mph, enjoy this moment (you probably will never get another chance). 5) You should have time.... think of something really interesting (like doing 1,000 back flips). When your done write a note letting the ground crew know that you should be placed in the Guinness Book of Records as the first person to do all this while diving to almost certain death. 6) Or if you want to simply take your mind off your problems (remember they are only temporary now, that should make you a little happier) try saying the alphabet backwards. This should occupy your mind, and you won't reach the end before you are releaved of your problems. (occupying your mind should NOT take much, since you were smart enough to jump out of a perfectly good airplane and rely on a small sheet of fabric instead) 7) Now if all else failes and you are scared of the pain, make sure you turn upside down and that way you wont have to worry. I realize that the length of this letter will mean you probably have lost your chance to do ANY of the ideas I list above. C'est la vie (or at least for now). Best regards, Mike P.S. Hi all, I am trying to write a story in English, but because my first language is Dutch, I can't always find the right expressions or ways to say things, so I was wondering if you guys could help me. I am looking for the right words to say the following: to quickly open ones eyes wide in shock or surprise. The character in my story wakes up to find that she is tied up and can't move. She still has her eyes closed but when she realises she can't move her arm she quickly opens them in shock. Any suggestions on how I can describe this? Thanks all!
My dead cat's eyes were still open - does this mean she died quickly?
I am so sorry! Happened to my sisters cat last year, and it's eyes were open and it upset all of us. We all thought she must of died slowly and in pain, but in fact it was the opposite because we saw what happened on cctv, and by the look of it, she died instantly and no pain. The car that hit her was really fast and head on and our cat was facing the other way so she didn't see or hear it :0 and my sisters friends went to get the body and its eyes were open. So its actually the other way around, when there eyes are open, it means they died quickly & there death was abit of a shock, like they didn't even consume the fact they were going to die. So your cat's unfortunate fate wasn't as bad as it could have been! :) i'm sorry, and i'm sorry if i've made it worse but honestly your cat died quickly and painless. When my pets die i always think, maybe they had an even worse fate, like eaten by a fox or killed slowly by a hooligan or beaten or something like a really horrible death. So it's actually not a bad thing when they die, because it could have prevented an even worse death :) xx

If you are talking about Cortland, you have to have an active internet connection for her to work. If you do and are still having these problems it may be an issue with your Microsoft acct or with contains herself, maybe there is a miss configuration. Run the trouble shooter on her.
Open casket funeral... quick question... please read??? About my kids...?
My grandma just died, come to find out it is going to be a open casket funeral... my kids want to come. They are both under 10. What are your thoughts on this?? I have an MBA degree from a reputed institute also. I am currently working as a consultant in a mid sized IT firm also. And I'm quitting soon. Bottom line is, do it. Use a smaller business to earn money to start a bigger business. For example, start a QSR format, do well at it, earn enough to start a eatery with maybe 20 covers. Then do well at that, and then maybe save enough to start your own business/large upscale restaurant.As an MBA, you should not have problem raising at least 5 lakhs bro, come on.Doing it this way gives you learning at a lower cost. and when you start your dream business, you would already have been slightly experienced in the business world, and more importantly, you would have been vindicated of your ability to succeed as a businessman.The only way to learn business it by doing business, remember.Good luck at whatever you do!
