Thoughts on the names Carly & Cecilia?
Carly is too much of a nickname...I like it as a nickname for Caroline or maybe Charlotte, but IMO it shouldn't go on the birth certificate. I love Cecilia! It's so beautiful and elegant and sweet-sounding. I'm not a real nickname person, but either Cissy or Cici would be fine if it suited her. Miles is a very strong, handsome, manly name...if Carly is the full name, I think Cecilia goes better, since it's more elegant and mature...it wouldn't be fair to give the boy a serious name that grows up well and the girl a nickname as full name. But if Carly can be a nickname for Caroline, I think Caroline goes a bit better with Miles, since it seems stronger than Cecilia.
