What does a girl name Emily look like in your opinion?
There is this Chinese girl in my class whose name is Emily. She is petite and has long black hair with bangs. She is a little shy around people, but always smiles and real cute. Personally, I think Emily is the right name for her, but my friends think Jane suits her. What's your opinion about the name Emily? Height, hair color, skin color, personality and etc. and what about Jane?????

Hazel Kim Scarlet Gloria Hurst -- I don't feel this flows well, it's too choppy and Kim is just a nickname. Also I don't like the alliteration of Hazel Hurst. Emery Threase Sophia Susan -- This flows better, but I'm not keen on Emery for a girl, only for a boy. Emily would be prettier for a girl. Is Threase meant to be Therese? If so, it's nice. Xanthe Paula Elizabeth Karen -- This is my favourite of the three. Xanthe is a stunning, striking name, balanced out with more traditional middles. Suggestions for first names: Xanthia Emmeline Helena Elsie Bryony Harmony Juniper Saffron Daphne Melody Zara

1 = BAD ~***~ 10 = GOOD 9/10 - Justin Cole Alexander: Good, masculine name, good flow and sound - I love the Alexander, but probably wouldn't use Cole and almost definitely (personally) use Justin... 5/10 - Devin Taelor: Devin is almost more popular with girls then boys, and I like boys names to be masculine... I do not like the misspelling of the name Taylor... 7/10 - Brian Abel: I like the names individually, but the flow/sound of the two together doesn't work for me... 5/10 - Marcus Aiden: Not fond of either name... 6/10 - Zach Alan: Would prefer Zachary Allen (which would be a 10/10) with a nickname of Zach... 2/10 - Zeb Blaine: Zeb looks like it should be a nickname, not a full, first name (short for Zebadiah maybe?)... Blaine I don't like at all, but it isn't bad in the middle name position... 8/10 - Malik Abram: Personally, I wouldn't use this... but if I had an Arabic background (or my child would), then it would be a good name... 7/10 - Ian Russell: Flow doesn't work for me, and I'm not fond of Russell... 4/10 - Randy Dwane: I don't think that Randy as a first name, a nickname for Randolf or Randall... Not at all fond of Dwane (something about the sound... harsh...) ------------------------------ 10/10 - Sarah Louisa May: Beautiful, classic, feminine name - very pretty with a nice flow/sound... 4/10 - Mary Jayne: Mary Jayne (no matter what the spelling) reminds me of spider man's girlfriend or the shoes... 2/10 - Carleigh April: I HATE the spelling of Carleigh, not fond of Carlie/Carly as a first name, as it seems too diminutive and nickname-ish... April isn't bad... 3/10 - Jazzmyne Carolina: I don't like misspellings... (I think I might have said that once or twice already - LOL)... Jasmine Carolina with a nickname of Jazzy would be a 10/10... 1/10 - Kindal Ellyn: Misspelling, and Kendal is a masculine sounding name (IMO)... 8/10 - Joyce Virginia: I prefer Virginia Joyce with Ginger as a nickname... (would be a 10/10) 1/10 - Mellyana Jenae: misspelling or made up, I can't tell... The pronunciation of Mellyana isn't as intuitive as I would like... Jenae is pretty... 1/10 - Junea Marie: Junea is the same as Mellyana above... Marie is a very pretty name! 10/10 - Kimberly Michelle: Beautiful, classic, feminine... the flow/sound works well, and this is a name that an adult could easily live with :-) HTH :-)
