Ordered An Iphone 6 From The Apple Website For Tmobile How Do I Set It Up When I Get It

How do I unlock my iPhone without a SIM card?

You don't need an active SIM card to activate an iPhone; any SIM card that matches the carrier that an iPhone is locked to will work, or if the iPhone is unlocked, any SIM card should do. You will need to activate the iPhone via a USB connection to iTunes in this case which will processes the activation via your computer over the Internet, and in this case neither iTunes nor iOS cares about whether the SIM card is active. So, knowing this, if you can find an old SIM card laying around, or borrow somebody else's old SIM card, try sticking it in your iPhone and going through the activation process. It will either work or it won't (usually if the iPhone is locked and the SIM doesn't match), but you won't damage your iPhone or hurt anything by trying.Even if you find an old full-sized SIM card, you can cut it down to micro-SIM size to insert into your iPhone. If it's a dead SIM card anyway, you've got nothing to lose by trying this either, and instructions and templates for doing this can be easily found online. If you really can't get your hands on any SIM card whatsoever, your only other option is to resort to jailbreaking tools that will effectively bypass the activation process, colloquially known as "hactivating" an iPhone. A wide variety of information and tutorials for doing this can be found online, particularly if you search for "hactivate iPhone" so there's not much point in going into them in detail here.

Can I order an iPhone from USA, and unlock it in India?

Possibly. But that is probably risky. You can buy a factory unlocked iPhone from the United States— one that is already unlocked— and begin using it in India freely on any carrier there. That would be the easiest and safest route, so you don't have to deal with being stuck with a locked phone if you get a locked phone from the U.S., and you're unable to unlock it. Anyways, for you, the price wouldn't be different for a locked or unlocked iPhone here— as you would be paying full retail price anyways, and you cannot get a contract/financing deal and then abandon it hoping you can unlock your iPhone.

I am getting an iPhone 7 from USA. Will it work in India?

Phones in the US are more often sold with contract of telcos. These contracted phones are much less expensive than those in the market. But, they are network locked - meaning no other SIM other than that of the contracted network (like Verizon, At&t) will work on it. Thus, these won't accept any Indian SIM cards.Any network locked phone can be unlocked from most local phone shops or just by simple YouTube vidoes. But, there may be the branding and some apps of the original carrier left in your phone. This too can be removed by jailbreaking the iPhone.Another aspect is that, make sure that the phone runs GSM network and NOT CDMA. Currently, only Docomo & BSNL run CDMA and this is quite outdated in India. Also verify it supports the network frequencies (900/1800/2100/2300MHz) available in India.Make sure it's the original iPhone itself and not any clone. A clone appears exactly the same as the original and may even seem to run same iOS initially. But these are cheap Chinese stuff. If you are getting the phone from your friend/relative you can ignore this.Edit4. Warranty - You may not get this. But you can certainly pay and repair at apple service centres in India or purchase one with premium international warranty (apple care+). Do check with apple official site as my knowledge is limited here.

How can I get the classic T-Mobile jingle in my iPhone 6 Plus?

I am going to assume you can get a copy of the sound in some format, even if it means recording it off of Youtube. (It's probably among those on T-Mobile's site, but it's telling me to log in to see and I'm not one of their customers.) After that, this should work for almost anything you want to make an iPhone ring of.1) If the file is .m4r and less than 30 seconds, just drag it to the Tones listing in iTunes and sync your phone. That should do it; then just select it from your tones list on the phone like you would any other.2) If it's in AAC format and less than 30 seconds, change the extension to m4r. Go to step 1.3) For any other audio file, drag it to the Music section of iTunes. Proceed through the rest of this list.4) In Preferences, set iTunes to import to AAC format.5) If the file is longer than 30 seconds, or even if it isn't but you want only a little of it, figure out the start and stop times of the segment you want to use. Get Info on that track, select the Options tab, and set the start and end points accordingly.6) Import. 7) Drag the new copy elsewhere, say, to the Desktop.8) Delete the new copy from your Music folder. If the song or whatever is something you want to listen to with your other music, change the start and end points back to what they were before. If it isn't, delete it from your Music. Either way, go to step 2.It is possible to trick the phone into accepting ring tones longer than 30 seconds. However, for no justifiable reason, Apple does not like this, so you have to jump through hoops and, worse, they'll be removed again whenever iOS updates.

Can I still track my iPhone even if the SIM card is taken out?

If the phone is "Offline" it usually either means that either the phone is off, the battery is dead, it's in airplane mode OR it isn't connected to wifi or using cellular data. You should be able to track it if the person starts using your data or a wifi network. If they totally reset it though, you might not be able to track it.EDIT: BUT here's good news! According to this support article on Apple's website, Activation Lock is turned on by default when you turn on Find My iPhone (which you are obviously using). Activation Lock asks you for the Apple ID and password before you can reset the device, sign out of iCloud, or turn off Find my iPhone. So as long as you didn't turn off Activation Lock, the person can't reset your device. (You probably didn't, it's one of those hidden settings that are hard to find anyway.) If you login to iCloud with your Apple ID and password, you can use this page to see if activation lock is on or not: https://www.icloud.com/activatio.... (You have to know the serial number of your iPhone for that though, and I'm not sure how you can do that since you don't have the iPhone.) I know lost mode can be turned on on iCloud in the Find My iPhone app, or you can do it on other devices associated with the same Apple ID as your lost iPhone. Lost mode allows you to lock the person out of the device (can't get back in unless they know your passcode or unless they have a fingerprint registered). It also lets you put a contact phone number and a message on there, so they will know who to return it to.I don't think your SIM being taken out will stop you from tracking it. Others are saying it would, I'm not really knowledgeable about that. If they join a wifi network, you should be able to find it (again, only if they didn't completely reset it). I am not 100% sure what will happen if they reset it, because I've just never had to think about it or deal with that before.I'm so sorry you lost your iPhone! I do hope you'll find it soon safe and sound! Thanks for asking me to answer!

Can we use an iPhone X from the US in India?

You should probably buy one sold in India. The carriers the iPhone X will work with in India are:AirtelReliance JioVodafoneIf one of those isn’t an option for you, then the iPhone X is not an option for you.The reason you should buy one sold specifically for the India market, rather than one sold for the U.S. market is somewhat complicated.International iPhones are clocked down to avoid sitting on a resident harmonic of the cellular frequencies in common use in various countries. This is set as part of activation in the country in question, as opposed to “magically” happening as a result of GPS data — which is actually how you’d probably want it to happen, if you were an engineer, if you couldn’t have it decide based on determining the carrier frequency by commcenter talking to the cellular modem, which is how a real engineer would do it.It’s not how Apple did it, though.Historically, this goes back to the Orange cellular network in the UK, where certain frequencies were used for the Cells that were located in the train tunnels, and which were “off” relative to the above ground frequencies. As a result, there were a bunch of calls dropped when the cell handoff between the above-ground vs. the below-ground networks.Basically, calls were dropped coming into or out of tunnels, because the clock frequency of the CPU was at a harmonic of the cellular frequency. You risk that happening when you have a grey-market iPhone that you buy in one country, and use in another.Yes, the commcenter fix would be the best approach; eventually Apple might do that fix. Assuming they were interested in enabling grey market imports to other countries of U.S. Market iPhones.Which I’m pretty sure they aren’t interested in enabling. So if you are trying to avoid the India import duty of 10%, and the GST of 28%, and the landing charge of 1%… sure, you’ll probably avoid those. But your phone might suck as a result.

How do you unlock an iPhone that has been disabled?

You can only reset it in this case. Don’t fall for anything that claims that you can do so otherwise. Apple’s official documentation says that you can’t. Be safe and use the official method.[1]Connect your iOS device to your computer and open iTunes. If you don't have a computer, borrow one from a friend, or go to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. While your device is connected, force restart it: On an iPhone X, iPhone 8, or iPhone 8 Plus: Press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Then, press and hold the Side button until you see the recovery-mode screen. On an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold both the Side and Volume Down buttons at the same time. Keep holding them until you see the recovery-mode screen. On an iPhone 6s and earlier, iPad, or iPod touch: Press and hold both the Home and the Top (or Side) buttons at the same time. Keep holding them until you see the recovery-mode screen. When you see the option to Restore or Update, choose Restore.Wait for the process to finish. Then you can setup and use your device.Footnotes[1] Forgot iPhone Passcode? Full Guide to Reset iPhone Password w/ Video

In regard to cell phones what is the difference between airtime and data usage?

air time is explained when you are using your phone to talk to somone. Wether you called or somone else has called you. This is considered airtime, and roaming. Data usage is the information that is recieved from being on the internet or downloading something on your phone and even texting or photo sharing. The difference is that the signal you are sending from your phone sends either data of talk, and the phone companies have to base a fee in order to stay alive.

If you don't get what I am saying call a customer representative at your local provider and they can explain it to you too. Or just google it i uess...*
