Other Teeth Hurt After Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Why does my front teeth hurt after wisdom tooth extraction after 3 months?

If your pain is in the upper jaw, there should be no relationship to the removal of the third molars and the front teeth. Nerve damage is highly unlikely so the problem would be in the front teeth. If the lower teeth hurt, it might be due to nerve damage from the surgery. It would probably be located on one side. It is unlikely that the nerve damage would be on both sides, not impossible, but unlikely. That would leave a problem with just the lower teeth. There could be a couple of different problems causing pain in the lower front teeth. An abscessed tooth would cause pain. Abscess pain does not need to be excruciating. It could be a low grade pain, might be sensitive to bite on and wouldn’t be sensitive to different foods.Another possibility is that there is root sensitivity. This happen when a tooth has some root structure exposed to the saliva. It could still be covered by some gum tissue. The pain is low grade and might be off an on. It might be difficult to actually locate or pinpoint the source of the pain. Sweets and cold would make it worse. If this is the type of problem, brush and floss with a sensitivity toothpaste.

My other teeth hurt after wisdom teeth extraction? ?

Ok, I'm 13 and I got all 4 wisdom teeth out on March 15 Thursday, the holes don't hurt much and the swelling has been going down, I've been taking pain killers and penicilln.

But for some reason my other teeth have been aching, like if there's pressure on them? I don't get it? There's no other symptoms? Mostly the back ones hurt? Help please /:

Another question :
The left bottom hole hurts ALOT at night? I'm almost screaming from the pain, it hurts all around the area, like the jaw hurts though not the gums? Why? And thanks everyone for helping (:

Why are my top teeth hurting after lower wisdom tooth extraction?

This is in part referred pain. Was your lower wisdom tooth impacted I am assuming not because it was a simple extraction? Any removal can shift the other teeth making them align differently. You are probably putting pressure on different areas of the top teeth. In a week or so there should be very little pain after surgery. If there still is you should probably go back to the surgeon/dentist and they can use special paper to check your bite and visually inspect the extraction site for any inflammation or infection that should not be there. Good luck!

Is it normal for your other teeth to hurt after a wisdom teeth extraction?

I got all 4 wisdom teeth out last Monday, and now my gums are sore and my other teeth feel sore. Also, the roof of my mouth is sore and swollen right behind my two front upper teeth. Is it normal for the other teeth to feel weird too after wisdom teeth are removed?

Sensitive teeth after wisdom tooth extraction?

I know all about the post-op instructions! I'm already rinsing with the salt-water. I also rinse twice a day with the prescription rinse that I was given. I don't have a follow-up appt with my oral surgeon. He said that my extraction was so simple that I didn't need to be seen again. I called them about the sensitivity and I was told to give it more time. How long will things be sensitive? Should I just try and relax and wait another week or two? I've been told that it takes about a month to be completely healed from a wisdom tooth extraction.

Are my teeth shifting after wisdom tooth extraction?

I recently had four of my wisdom teeth extracted. The process went well I believe. I wasn't in too much pain and barely any swelling. I had the surgery at 9am on Thursday and now it's Wednesday. The site of the extraction doesn't hurt very much anymore, but I have a constant and nagging pressure in my mouth. Sometimes it will be my entire mouth and other times it'll only be a certain area. It feels like the pressure is in my gums, but sometimes it'll stretch into my sinus cavity. It makes it extremely difficult to concentrate or think about anything else.

I went to the doc who said I am healing fine and that's it's just a part of the healing process. A friend said it seemed like my teeth were shifting and it should settle down. It's the most annoying feeling, almost worse than the pain of taking them out, as it never goes away. It's worse when I lay down to sleep and gets progressively worse as the day goes on.

Has anyone ever felt anything like this? Is this normal after an extraction? And how long will my teeth continue to shift like this? Thank you!
