My Otterbox didn t protect my iPhone, what do I do?
I have an iPhone 5S and I have an Otterbox cell phone case on it. I dropped it on my kitchen floor and the screen cracked and now half of my touch screen doesn t work, and I ve already had to replace the screen once with an old Otterbox case. Is there a way I can contact Otterbox company and tell them what happened, and if I do, what would they say in response? Thank you!
Is the Otterbox defender series case for the iPhone 5/5s good?
Let me tell you a story. My daughter had the perpetual cracked iPhone screen syndrome. When she got the 5S, she bought the Otterbox. She was visiting, and I was taking her car in to get a state inspection. I heard a noise as I drove down a city street near my house. I saw something bouncing in the road through my rear view mirror. Two minutes later, she called, and said she had left her phone on the roof of her car (she had been talking to someone out in the driveway for privacy). I realized that the sound I had heard was her phone. I turned around and made my way back to that location. I pulled over and got out of the car. I saw her phone right where it had landed in the street. I watched 5 or six cars pass, and 2 of them ran over the phone. When traffic cleared, I retrieved the phone. Not only did the phone continue to work, the screen was not even cracked!
Will the iPhone 5 otterbox fit the iPhone 5s?
Yes. The iPhone 5 and iPhone 5S have the same dimensions. The problem is that the 5S has a fingerprint scanner, so if you could work a way around that, you've gotten yourself the perfect case.
Will the otterbox defender for the iphone 5 fit the 5c?
No, it will not! I have an iPhone 5 and an Otterbox Defender. My daughter bought an iPhone 5c a couple of days ago and we tried one of the iPhone 5 cases I have (the Otterbox Defender) and it did NOT fit. The 5 and 5s use the same cases, but the 5c is a slightly different size and the Otterbox Defender cases do NOT fit.
Cases for iPhone 5s?
I personally would just get another griffin survivor case because they are beasts. Fair enough you won't be able to use the fingerprint scanner but it is a gimmick anyway in my opinion. A 5 digit pin or password is more secure anyway. Since it is so rugged and protective sound quality will not be as good as not using a case. The camera is protected with a flap but it is removable. I would not consider buying a waterproof case if you intend on getting your iphone wet. These cases do not work long term and aren't completely waterproof. Instead they are highly water resistant and are good for precautionary measures for being out in the rain for instance. In that case I would suggest a lifeproof fre but they are no where near as protective as a Griffin survivor. I'd go with the survivor or the Otterbox Armor both highly protective.
Is there a FAKE Otterbox Preserver case for iPhone 5s?
I want to buy an Otterbox Preserver case from someone, the case with Touch ID compatibility, and he's selling it at $20 (Around 16USD cheaper)lower than retail price. The thing is, I do not know if he is a trusted seller, although the case looks pretty good to me. Does anyone know if people have released FAKE versions of this case? If you do, can you tell me how to spot the difference? Thanks

I have an otterbox for an iphone 4. I am planning to get an iPhone 5s and I am wondering if there is anyway that I can trade in my otterbox for the 4 for the iPhone 5s otterbox to there company. Will otterbox do that?

Absolutely NO.. The Dimensions of iphone 4/4s is - 115.2 x 58.6 x 9.3 mm (LxWxthick).Whereas Dimensions of iphone 5s is - 123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6 mmSo here between both the phones, only the Width is same, but iphone 5s has more length than 4s and iphone 5s is more thinner than the 4s. Check the actual size difference in the phone below - Now imagine, how a iphone 4 case will fit on iphone 5!! So its a NO again..

It should seeing as they are the same dimensionally, but make note of the dual LED for the flash for the 5s vs the single LED for the 5.
