Outfit For An Elegant Night Out - Dinner/show With Mom

Which is more fashionable right now: handbags, clutches, or purses? What is the difference between a clutch, purse, and handbag? Which is more essential?

In a layman’s language all three: purse, handbag and clutch are to keep women’s essentials that they carry with them whenever they step out. It is true but up to an extent only. When it comes to their design, size and usability, these three are different from each other.Handbags: These are comparatively larger bags that can be carried anywhere from office to parties, outings and trips. These have more space for the things. Handbags generally have long stripes and carried on shoulders.Clutches: These are the modern form of purses having stiff material like metal. You can see every actress carrying the same at parties. Clutches are more useful for parties where you just need to carry your phone, money and bare minimum things.Purse: This is a generic term used for clutches and a coin pouch. Purses are generally small in size and used to carry money. If you are looking for a right option for your gown, saree or other party wear dress, you should look for designer clutch bags online. These are available in a huge variety on sites like Aavaranaa and give you ample choices in terms of size, material, price, space and design.

I want to do something spectacular for my mom PLEASE HELP?

My mom works her butt of for my sisters and I. She got her taxes back and it was a good chunk of money but after paying off bills, clothes shopping for us girls, my bday present (laptop) etc she has no money left over to buy anything, even something little, for herself. I want to buy my mom something that will make her really happy. I cant really think of anything she wants, so I was thinking maybe something like a day at the spa or something. Something so she can just relax, or something really nice that she can use all the time... Please help, my mom is the best mother in the world, and I realize how much I take that for granite, so I really want to do something nice for her. Im not sure how much money im looking to spend, maybe up to two hundred..?... any suggestions I would appreciate!!!

... any mom's that have recieved great presents that made them happy...?

What is the best Mother's Day gift a new dad can get for a new mom?

Ha! Besides sleep....?!!!!Let's see. Hmmmm. The best Mother's Day gifts I ever got: A really oversized/huge, framed photo of my little, new, children at 2-4 years of age, hugging each other. It still hangs on my wall.A necklace I still wear and cherish twenty years later, designed by the father of my children. It was symbolic of our family, with a design that represented the family as a whole, our community of friends and family, and each individual in our new little family. With a two month old, I'd say it's time for her to think about travel and planning for a fun trip, (with the baby; do not even think of leaving the baby). Arrange it for some time before the baby begins to crawl; about three to six months is ideal. I think you should plan for it, get tickets or make the plans, and present her with the completed arrangements (if you think she would like that; I know I hate making travel plans and did appreciate deeply having something fun and different to look forward to).But now, with a two month old, the best idea I can imagine for you would be to plan to have an amazing dinner at home or in a place you know she is very, very comfortable. Consider if she would like you to invite family and closest friends. If so, celebrate every mother there, inducting your wife into the First Annual Mothers Day Group Portrait with a really good photographer to memorialize the event. Get a Happy Mother's Day cake with her name on it, present The Important Book, by Margaret Wise Brown to each mother present, and find someone to play/supervise/lead older children who may be present. Then, when you go home, follow up the festivities with a private card you created, and wrote to her, explaining why you love her, and how your life has changed as a result of who she is now that she has become a mother in addition to The One you love.Your testimony will be the greatest gift for her to treasure. How you present that is up to you... I hope these ideas help to get you started. Good luck! Have fun being creative.

What to wear to Scholarship Awards Dinner? (Pictures)?

Both dresses are a little too casual. I would suggest wearing the white one, however, because you can always have a fancy belt. If you chose that dress, then pair it with heels that are a bright color, like red or blue. Make sure the belt matches the shoes. Next, get a simple necklace with a bland color, ex. Pearls. Make sure it doesn't hang too low. Wear your hair so it looks elegant and controlled. If you have a hair peice the same color as the shoes that looks good, wear it. If you need to bring a little purse, make sure it's glittery or something that is bland in color but catches ones eye. If you chose to wear a different dress, just make sure you match the shoes and the belt. And make sure those aren't the same color as the dress. If you need further help you should post a form on youlookfab.com. The ladies are nice and are fashion expertise. Goodluck!

Urgently needed answer:suit jacket buttoned or unbuttoned for this event?

I am graduating 8th grade, and next Wednesday night is a dinner dance to commemorate graduation. It will be held at a nice manor. The other 51 8th graders and their parents will be there. I will be wearing tan khakis, a white dress shirt and a red tie with white-tan diamonds, and a navy blue suit jacket. The jacket will either be one, two, or three buttoned. I don't know which, I didn't buy it yet. Just give me tips for each quantity of buttons. Also, I don't know which material the buttons will be made out of, since I haven't bought the jacket yet. Just assuming it will be made out of any material, should I button the jacket for the dinner dance or leave it unbuttoned? Serious answer, and I need it.

My parents won't buy me a car, or actually, anything.?

I need to vent but before anyone wants to say i'm spoiled, i'm not. I grew up always hungry. In elementary school i was so skinny i'd get picked on every week and would cry at night because i was so hungry. I'd get new clothes only on xmas from relatives, this lead me to wearing the same 2 pairs of jeans everyday in high school & everyone would give me hell for it. I would cry in the morning before school. Seeing other kids bringing backpacks full of snacks every day but not sharing or having a new outfit to wear every day was just kinda depressing. I think being a girl made this worse, girls are really mean in hs, especially about these things.
Now im a senior & everyones parents are buying them brand new cars. There's even juniors with nice cars. My older brother got his first car junior year. My grandpa passed away a few months ago & gave away his two extra nice cars. He gave my brother one & my cousin the other. I was sad that i didn't get one, i think what made it worse is that i thought i was going to get my brothers old car, but my parents just sold it and gave my brother the money for gas for his new car. I have 3 siblings and my parents struggle a lot with keeping a roof over our heads that we keep almost loosing our home. My cousin who got the other nicer car is a single child & her parents both have a stable job and enough money to buy her a car. They live much closer to my grandparents too so my grandparents are always taking them out to dinner, It's frustrating.
