Okay, here is what I was thinking. Crimp your hair, (put it in 4 braids when wet, take out when dry) And wear naturally colored makeup. Think: Earth colors and stuff
How long does it take to crimp your hair?
I heard it can take hours. I have about shoulder length hair. Would i be better off just braiding before i went to bed with my hair wet? Also do they have any pretty straightners haha i mean like colored not just gold and black. or do those not work

i need to dress 80's for a party i am going to in a week and i want to look good [well as good as i can for looking 80's] i already know what i'm wearing for the main part of my outfit and how i am doing my hair, i am just a little unsure about some of the accessories and the makeup. [i'm a 90's kid!!] the colors in my outfit are yellow, bright green, and neon pink. i was thinking about wearing a headband in my teased/crimped hair, but i don't know if that would be 80's. did they wear headbands in the 80's? and if they did what kind would they have worn? also, how should i do my makeup? i used google to look some stuff up online, but nothing i found was really that helpful. thanks for the help! :]
