Over Counter Deposit Age

What all is needed to deposit money into someone else's account?

It’s pretty simple to wire money to another account: you just need the account number and routing number of the account. Actually taking currency to the bank and making a “physical” deposit is similarly easy… but don’t take anything near or over $10,000 or a federal report must be filed. As to taking a check and depositing it into another person’s account, you will need a deposit slip, and the check endorsed for deposit only. Generally, this won’t cause a problem. However, certain banks, B of A among them, are notorious for demanding identification from people making a deposit. Admittedly, this makes NO sense, but, it is B of A. They might refuse to take a deposit made by other than the account holder, as crazy as that sounds. I mention this only because it happened to me, as I was attempting to make a deposit to my college aged kid’s account. They actually refused to accept my check to my child. I can’t explain the reason, because there is no sense to it. ( like duh, they’ve never seen parents put money into college kid’s accounts??) My kid switched banks, and the other bank had no problems with this arrangement.

How did banks work in the past before the arrival of the computer age?

The banks worked mostly as they work today, but more slowly and using mostly paper. That is, someone would make a deposit, the clerk would count the money, register it in a book and give the depositant a receipt of the deposit. The bank would keep the money and regularly send the money and a copy of the registry to the central bank. This was, of course, more time consuming and bureaucracy consuming than today, and required each branch to be more independent, being controlled by regular audits.About your specific questions:1) Since bank branches can't quickly communicate with each other, how do they know how much money a person owns? The local branch knows, and that is enough. If a person wants to travel, he or she would withdraw money to take or have a letter of credit to take. There were no ATM machines so there was no need to have a constantly update central account.2) If there are recorded booklets to carry, would those be easily fraud? No likely. Each customer would have signed receipts as evidence. Also, the registry would be made in front of the customer. And these being handwritten papers, forgeries would have to be very well done or they would be easily detectable.3) Since the tellers of the banks directly handles moneys given to them, would it be prone to corruption from stealing money? They would have to write a receipt for the customer, and a fill in the bank registry. If the numbers did not match the amount, they would be in deep trouble. If you are specifically asking about the 16th century, remember:1) There was much less population. Venice was the largest italian city of the time and had no more then 100.000 citizens.2) Not a lot of people had enough money to be able to deposit it in banks. Only wealthy merchants and aristocrats and they were on first-name terms with the bankers.3) The punishment for stealing was at least having your hands cut off. To risk that you had to be very foolish, desperate or sure that you wouldn't get caught.

What are some Over the Counter treatments for Keratosis Pilaris?

Because it is hereditary, there is no way to cure or prevent keratosis pilaris. However, it may lessen over time with age.

In some patients, the condition clears up on its own. When it does not, patients may choose to seek treatment for cosmetic reasons. There are several treatments aimed at softening the keratin deposits in the skin to improve its appearance. They include:

Moisturizing lotions. Dry skin makes the condition worse, so applying moisturizer twice daily is important. Lotions that contain urea help the skin retain moisture and products that contain lactic acid or salicylic acid help to dissolve and exfoliate the keratin. Moisturizer should be applied immediately after bathing.

Loofah sponges or brushes. Rubbing the affected areas after a long soak in a hot bath may help to unclog the plugged hair follicles.

Topical retinoids. Class of chemical compounds that are chemically related to vitamin A. These drugs regulate skin growth but can be very irritating.

These are just a couple of the available treatment for keratosis pilaris. Take a look at this site for some additional information that I think you'll find helpful : ) It's great that you're educating yourself!

How do Young Earth Creationists counter claims the Earth is more than 6,000 years old?

Several users have psted links to various creationist websites such as AIG and creation.com. I will summarise their arguments in regards to your points for you since the people who consider these websites to be scientific rather than religious propaganda haven't bothered.

plate tectonics: god did it
radio carbon dating: chemists are wrong
sedimentary deposits and ice-cores: god did it + geologists are wrong
fossil fuels: god did it + chemists are wrong + geologists are wrong
the size and expansion of the universe: god did it + cosmologists are wrong
the speed of light: physicists are wrong
tree ring records: chemists are wrong + biologists are wrong
everything else: god did it + everybody else is wrong

I have literally seen lies used by so called scientists to manipulate people into believing the YEC bullshit. EG a "palaeontologist" explaining that fossils are dated by the age of the rock they are found in, and rocks are dated by the age of the fossils found in them. This is a lie because absolute dating uses isotopic (ooh, there's a big word!) ratios to determine the age of volcanic rock and when fossils are found between layers of volcanic rock there is a time frame we know they existed in thanks to the law of superposition. Relative dating can then be used to determine ages of fossils relative to these rock layers and each other as they are found in the strata.

Everything that is known about atomic physics must be wrong for creationists to be right. Even if SOME things are wrong, eg if the derp who stated that "carbon 14 in coal proves a young earth" was correct about the C14 in coal being due to the estimated half life for C14 (5730+/-40 years) and that the C14 was NOT the result of contamination from the measuring equipment, bacteria in the sample or radioactive decay in the strata; it still doesn't mean the earth is young. It just means that Libby was wrong and didn't deserve a Nobel prize for his observations of radiometric decay in C14. It says nothing about the half life data for Uranium 238 and 235, Potassium-40, and all the other unstable isotopes which can be measured in decay and these measurements used to estimate the rate over long time periods when compared to the products of that decay.

I'm 16, what do I do to get a Debit Card without telling parents?

The only way you can get a debit card of your own without your parents knowing is if you have a savings account of your own. As you are 16 years of age, you are allowed to have a Savings Account without involvement of your legal guardian. However you haven't mentioned from where will you have money to put into this account to fund your use of debit card. Either you are already doing some kind of work that pays you some money, or you get some kind of pocket money from your parents. For lack of information, I'm assuming it is savings from your pocket money which you can deposit in your Savings account. Please see the following relevant excerpt from a RBI circular confirming that you are allowed to open an independent savings account:Further, with a view to promote the objective of financial inclusion and also to bring uniformity among banks in opening and operating minors’ accounts, banks are advised as under:A savings /fixed / recurring bank deposit account can be opened by a minor of any age through his/her natural or legally appointed guardian.Minors above the age of 10 years may be allowed to open and operate savings bank accounts independently, if they so desire. Banks may, however, keeping in view their risk management systems, fix limits in terms of age and amount up to which minors may be allowed to operate the deposit accounts independently. They can also decide, in their own discretion, as to what minimum documents are required for opening of accounts by minors.Full text of the circular along with a pdf version from which above is excerpted can be found at this link of RBI: Reserve Bank of IndiaHaving said above, I am not able to gather the reason why you would not want your parents to know about your having a debit card.Important Note:I hope you do understand that a debit card needs prior funds in your account and is NOT the same as a credit card which doesn't needs prior linked funds. If you need to understand the difference between these two, a reasonably good explanation can be found at Debit Card vs Credit Card - Difference and Comparison. In case you were hoping for a credit card, let me add that you can not have one without one of your other eligible earning parent co-signing for it.
