How can I find out if my dad has any other children with other women, without asking him?
probably at this point it doesnt matter, if he has never mentioned this to you then he either doesnt know it , and it wont benefit him one bit to know, or he doesnt want to upset the flow , of any involved. you may not even have one and all your emotional work will be for nothing, and may open a can of worms. especially with your mom. you have no real proof that that child his x had, is even his, it may be another mans when she was dating your dad and thats why they broke up. or she was running around with lots of guys at the time and she may not even know whose it is. which is why whoever provides for and raises the child ,is the real dad, because hes acting like one. so i think id leave well enough alone, knowing isnt going to change your life for the better, it may turn out worse. we just dont know.

I was awarded a social security check when I was 18, more than likely for a deceased parent rather than a disability (wasn't diagnosed for one). But I haven't seen my dad in just over 11 years. I have no idea where he might have gone, but I do know that he was last in California. I checked the Social Security Index for CA, with no luck. How can I find out if he is dead, and that's why I was awarded social security? How do I find my dad?

The only way you will find out is either snooping around, or if he tells you directly. And if he hasn't yet, I imagine he does not trust you with that information or believes you are too immature. He could also just want to keep it private, some people do, so it could be any of those. To be honest it shouldn't matter for your goal, and if you're really that curious, add it up, I guarantee it's not hard to ballpark a number.During this tax season my dad was helping me with my taxes and explaining how much I paid and how much I get back, versus how much he pays and gets back (He believes it's important to be able to do your own taxes and I agree). After he told me how much he paid in taxes I quickly did the math and gave an estimate of his salary, I was right and he showed me the paperwork. I said “oh, okay, neat”. That's the response you should have, anything along the lines of “that's so much, what do we buy with all of that money” shows immaturity and a lack of understanding of money. I am not saying you are any of those things, but your dad could possibly think that depending upon your age. Maybe try to build a better relationship with your father to show your maturity?Like I said, either ask, guess, or snoop. I never asked because it doesn't matter to me, I don't make the money, I have a lovely house, and am well provided for. Plus, his salary does not change my goals because my goals are my own and not based on how many properties my dad owns. Guessing could offend your father, and snooping is not ideal either, it isn't information you have the right to know unless you're the one making the money unfortunately.I know how it feels to be curious, but if you are smart enough to estimate it, that's completely fair.Good luck!

XD what i would do: 1. talk to your mom. surely she would know when his birthday is. 2. facebook him. you may be able to view his birthday on his profile page. 3. look through some of your childhood calenders. you may have marked in where his birthday was and when you were going to celebrate it when you were a little kid. 4. your birth certificate may have the details of your parents stated on it, have a look there. if worst comes to worst, you may need to get investigators/ fbi a shot, because they can have access to his personal files, which should contain his d.o.b. good luck sweetie xo

If you are now 88 and the result of a second marriage, he could have died 88 years ago at the age of 70. If you are now 12 and the result of a high-school romance, he could have died yesterday at the age of 28.
