How can i prove that a document has my forged signature on it in court?
Hi everybody. a while ago I was in car wreck which totaled my vehicle and i was hurt, after i started feeling little better i started looking for a vehicle to purchase so i can get to work and I came across an ad for a car on craigslist for $8800 so i contacted the owner and we met up to see the vehicle then the owner agreed to finance me with $3500 down payment and 500 every month untill the car was paid off . anyways we went to the bank and i gave her 2500 dollars (my only savings) and told her i would give her the other 1000 the following week and we had the agreement signed and notarized. the following week I contacted the owner to give her the other 1000 ( borrowed from a friend ) and get the keys to the vehicle. to my surprise she completely blew me off, she started ignoring me not returning my phone calls. she just disappeared and i didnt have her address now i'm out 2500 and no car to get to work. I was able to find her address through extensive and exhausting search online and driving to different adresses and i showed up unannouced to her apartment, boy she got really mad it looked like she saw a ghost, she didnt want to talk and she slammed the door in my face. i left but not before getting the police involved, she told the detective that she did give me my money back and she has a signed proof . how could it be? i never got anything, she must have forged signature, now i am wondering if what she has can hold in court as i am suing her for breach of contract for my money back and i learned she is once again trying to sell the car in a different state any help is greatly appreciated thank you,
