Stomach and Chest pain??

Its d same problem. U have the gastrit probs. The gas makes it difficult for ur heart to pump out blood. Tats it. It is not a big problem at all. All u have to do is to reduce the gas in ur stomach. Well i would suggest u to add more garlic in ur daily foods. Eat more pepper to reduce any injury in ur stomach. Ginger will take care and make sure ur digestive system is working properly. For 1 week eat lot of garlic related foods and u'll feel better. Do not have ur stomach mpty for a long tym. Eat bananas at night b4 goin to bed which will make all the unwanted waste in ur stomach come out. This is more than enough.

For immediate relief take in any gastritis medicine so that u will feel gr8.

Chest pains after stomach flu?

Chest pain when breathing like that is probably a result of abdominal and chest wall muscle strain caused by the vomitting.. Its not common, but it has an obvious source. Combine that with the (temporary) acid damage to her esophagus, and theres really a good chance its just strain. If she's never thrown up that much before, it is really painful.

And sometimes when yo uthorw up you can accidentally.. 'inhale' stomach acid into your lungs. this is not normally harmful, but it hurts like hell.

If you're worried about heart pain, there are a couple things that would make it unlikely: Is the pain sharp? If so, its not heart pain. Heart pain is dull and crushing. The second is, can she point to where it hurts? If she can, its not heart pain.

But really, use best judgement here. Im clearly not a doctor. But from what I do know of my own chest pain, she's probably just feeling like crap from throwing up that much.

Weird pain in my stomach that moves to my chest?

For the past 2 days I've been experiencing this weird pain. It will start around my upper stomach and move up to my chest. I can still breathe normally when it happens. And while it happens it kinda feels like I have to barf but nothing comes up. Please help, this is honestly making me feel a little nervous. If it helps, I'm a 15 year old girl.

Pain in chest and stomach?

I would go to your nearest emergency department, the treatment from your doctor clearly isn't working, you're young and not overweight, you should NOT be in this much pain. This needs to be diagnosed/treated as soon as possible.

How does gas in stomach cause chest pain?

The mechanism may be the marked vagal stimulation associated with inferior infarction causing gastric distress and subsequent gas formation. Thus association of belching with inferior infarction suggests an enhanced autonomic response to ischaemic heart disease at this site. Chest pain has many possible causes; some are harmless, but some (like a heart attack) can be life-threatening. Part of the problem is that the heart and other internal organs have a type of sensory nerve conduction where it is sometimes difficult to precisely pinpoint the exact origin of a painful sensation. Pain due to something wrong in the heart, lungs, or belly can be vague, or feel like something else. This is why chest pain can be such a difficult problem for those who have it, as well as for their doctors.Gas causes swelling in the intestines and a bloated feeling. When gas causes pain, it’s usually in the abdomen (belly). However, the pain may also be felt in the chest. If pain is due to gas, it should go away within a short time.Other causes of chest pain not due to the heart include problems with the esophagus, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), musculoskeletal (chest wall) pain, problems in the lungs, and many others.

Upper stomach, chest, and throat pain?

Sounds like you could be suffering from severe acid reflux. When you have lots of acid in your stomach it can cause gastritis(inflammation of the stomach lining) or ulcers. If the reflux is severe enough it can come back up into the esophagus. When the esophagus gets irritated or inflammed and it causes what we call esophageal spasms. These can be extremely painful in the chest area and can also be felt in the upper back. If the reflux gets into the throat it can burn the upper esophagus and can give you a very sore/raw feeling throat. Just in case it is reflux get some OTC Mylanta and take as direcrted on the bottle and also pick up something like, Tagament, Zantac, or Prilosec and take it every day. You may need to elevate the head of your bed, because if you eat/drink too close to bedtime it causes the food/drink to come back into the esophagus. In the mean time stear clear of acidic foods like fruit juices or tropical fruits and limit the amount of coffee or chocolate you consume. Also fatty/fried foods can make reflux worse. Also go ahead and make appt with your regular MD or call and make appt with a gastroenterologist. This doctor specializes in diseases of the GI tract and he can rule out ulcers. This is important because if stomach or esophageal ulcers go untreated they can lead to GI bleeding or in worst case-perfpration of the stomach. Hope you feel better soon.

Chest hurts after sleeping on stomach?

Might as well ask this while I wait for an answer to my other question...

Whenever I sleep on my chest/stomach, I wake up because it's a little more difficult to breath (though not enough to sleep on my back). It hurts more when I breath in deeply, as if sleeping on my stomach had made my rib cage stiff and hard to expand with my lungs. Mom says it may have something to do with the asthma I used to have (though hasn't been a problem) or my allergies.

It hurts in the chest area (obviously), mostly along the rib cage, but I can't remember if it's just restricted to those areas. I'm not too worried about it, but then again it could get worse...

I either have high cholesterol or blood pressure, can't remember which, and I am the smallest amount over weight (last time I checked, which was a LONG time ago) though nobody says I am, so I doubt that it has to do with weight.

Any idea what causes this pain? I'll most likely mention it next time I go to the doctors, but that won't be for a while, and this had been going on for a while (a few years?)

Thanks!

Chest and stomach pain after drinking hard liquor?

This happens when the mucus lining of your stomach is slightly eroded (thin). The alcohol burns the exposed areas of stomach.
If it keeps getting worse, you'll find you also get this effect from drinking coffee or tea on an empty stomach, spicy food, acidic foods like very vineagary stuff etc.
You need to give up these things for a while so it can get better.

What you are describing sounds very mild, so if you change your diet then it will get better by itself. If it gets worse, then see your doctor and you will get a blood test for H Pylori and some tablets to cure it (antibiotics if the H pylori infection is positive, antacid tabs if ti is negative).
And don't take antacid tablets before talking to your doctor, because you need him to pick out the right ones. There are many different types.

Can stomach gas and acidity cause chest and left arm pain?

Yes and especially at the tip of the shoulder. It is sometimes connected with the pain in the upper left quadrant of the abdomen due to the gas in flexure of large intestine in that region,or in stomach itself.

What can it mean if my chest and stomach hurt at the same time?

Gastrointestinal problems can also cause chest pain and include: Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Also known as acid reflux, GERD occurs when stomach contents move back into the throat. This may cause a sour taste in the mouth and a burning sensation in the chest or throat, known as heartburn.
