What causes pain on the right side of my back just below my rib cage?

Keep an eye on your gallbladder. In my case I had EXTREME & unbearable pain, nausea, diarrhea & sweating when I had issues with my gallbladder. By the time a doc finally actually tried to figure out what was happening rather than treating me as a drug seeker it had been almost 2 years of horrible issues. But the problems started somewhere so I wouldn't be surprised if it did start with pressure. I just can't remember because the whole experience really was terrible & almost traumatic. I would definitely pay good attention for the pressure to get more intense or any new symptoms. Depending on how bad it is or how long you have noticed this I would consider seeing a doctor sooner rather than later.

What causes pain below my jaw on the right side? Could it be Hodgkin’s Disease? Its swollen under my jaw, on the right side, on top of the neck (compared to my left side). I dont have a flu/cough or any other symptoms and I'm putting on weight!

You should see a doctor and be examined.I can't put your mind at rest based on what you've said, but I can say that two common causes of what we doctors would call "submandibular swelling" are stones in the submandibular gland and tooth decay leading to an abscess. Both are statistically roughly twice as common as Hodgkins  which is about 30 cases per million people per annum.People with cancer of all forms typically lose weight, although there are always exceptions, and yes, some people with Hodgkins do gain weight. 1/2 the adult population manages to gain weight and does not have Hodgkin's disease so you can't make too much of that in isolation. The most common lymph node site affected by Hodgkin's disease is in the neck, however, Hodgkin's disease can also cause swelling of the groin or nodes of the underarm but these swellings are usually not painful and can feel rubbery. Like most cancers Hodgkin's disease can also cause fevers, night sweats, weight loss, and even generalized itching. Hodgkin's disease may cause lymph nodes in the chest to swell, which can't be seen or felt, but can cause symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, or chest pain. Interestingly, some people with Hodgkin's disease will note pain in the lymph nodes after minimal alcohol consumption which appears to be something you've noticed. Please get a checkup ASAP.

Unknown Pain under rib cage?

I'm not sure what it is really, but i'm guessing it's a trapped gas? I had this for a week now, it never left, just numbed down. I tried gas-x, mineral water, mylanta and teas that help with gases, but nothing worked :( the pain is not really under my ribs, more like inside my right ribcage. It got worse today. I can't lift anything heavy or bend any way, or it'll feel like i'm being stabbed and i'll stop breathing for a while. This started when I stretched and yawned at the same time. Another reason why I think it's a gas is because it went from my waist to my back and then to my ribs and stayed there. The right side of my ribs hurt too, but not as much as the left side.

I don't think it's an injury, since my ribs don't ache when I touch them
