Mid Back pain and right side stomach pain?

I have been having this pain for the past two years, it is mostly a sharp pain like if someone is stabbing me with a knife. The intensity of the pain is not too strong, it varies, the pain is not strong to the point where it is unbearable. The pain is also felt on my mid back. I did tests such as ultrasound for the abdomen and kidney, blood test, x-rays for my chest, and all the results were normal.

My doctor told me the pain must be coming from my back, so she referred me to a chiropractor. They performed an x-ray for my back and found out my back is twisted or something like that. The chiropractor told me to visit her about 3 times a week for up to 4 weeks to correct my back.

I hate going there due to bad services they have, I feel like its a rip off. All I do there is I lay on my back on this machine that gives me a massage for about 5 minutes, then they apply heat on my back for 5 minutes, then the doctor comes and crack my back. That's it!

I ended up asking her what my problems were exactly, she told me I have thoracic pain, thoracic subluxation, and intercostal neuralgia. Last week I bought a back massager called " The Sharper Image Shiatsu Massage", everytime I use it I feel great, but my back problem and front pain never gone a way compeltely. I noticed that I have this cracking or clicking sound on my shoulders and mid back when I raise my arms up and down. This sound never disappears no matter how many times I raise my arms or stretch. The cracking sound is mostly on my mid back, but don't get me wrong I am not limited to any phyiscal activities. I can workout, lift weights, run, and do all sorts of sports without any limitions. That's why for 2 years I never thought my problem was from my back.

Now I am seeking another treatment for my back, I am sick and tired of this back pain as well as going to my chiropractor.

What can I do here at home to help alleviate this pain and get rid of it completely . What would you guys do?

What should I do if it hurts on the right side of the stomach?

Depends on the severity and how long it's been, and if you've had your appendix removed yet. It might be appendicitis. Try pushing on the spot where the appendix is suppose to be. If it hurts like hell—head to the hospital. Even if it's not and it still hurts—head to the hospital. In the end, it's your body, and only you know what's best for it.

Stomach pain in low right side shoots to cheast?

You could have irritable bowel syndrome. It's hard to diagnose, but I've actually had gallbladder pain (which is in the right upper rib cage area) and diarrhea and things like that. It's all all-inclusive type thing. When your digestive tract is affected, you can have pain bouncing around all over your abdomen area...even higher up than you'd think around your rib cage.

Why does the right side of my stomach hurt?

If the pain is just under the rib cage on the right side, it most likely is your gallbladder. Bad bile made in your liver from eating bad fats like Vegetable oils (canola, soybean, cottonseed, and corn oils) and fried foods, hydrogenated oils, trans fats, etc. all contribute to very bad bile. The liver makes this and then sends it to the gallbladder. The gallbladder is a storage tank for bile. If the bile is viscous from these bad oils, it will crystalize and form stones. When you eat any fatty foods, the gallbladder squeezes and the bile flows down the bile duct to digest the fats. If stones are present, the bile has a hard time getting down that duct. This causes pain.

The most active time the bile is made is between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the day time. If you are on a LOW fat diet, this diet exacerbates the problem and makes it definitely worse. These very stupid people that recommend low fat this and low fat that have no understanding of how the body works. It's very important to understand fats and how they play a very important part in regard to your health.

If you were having a gas problem, that still relates to your digestion. Don't let some surgeon convince you that you need your gallbladder out until you understand completely the whole process and how you can make yourself healthy with a diet change first. 99% of all gallbladder operations could be avoided if good nutrition was applied.

good luck to you

Can smoking cause pain in the lower right side of the stomach?

Smoking can harm your body in lots of ways..but pain in the lower right side of your "stomach" is not one of the ways.
Pain in the lower right side of abdomen may be due to appendicitis, colitis, gastro enteritis (with more enteritis).
Upper right abdominal pain --> liver and gall bladder -- which you will pretty soon get if you binge drink...
The smoking is not going to give you pain yet..it will still destroy your body silently and spring on you later.
