Paper Cutout Story Narrated In French

What is the funniest thing ever happend in everyone's school life?

Once we had an English solo song competition in our school. Since my school (Ramjas Public School, Anand Parvat, Delhi) was not a convent or Christian school but a normal public school which had more of desi folks, where we students normally didn't use to listen to English songs. So for that sake my English teacher planned for an english solo song competition as a part of internal assessment when I was in class 9.We were given 3 days to prepare a song of our choice. All of us downloaded and discussed what all songs we were about to sing in the class. While getting busy for preparations I forgot to tell one of my classmate who was absent on the day when the teacher announced for the competition. On the competition day we were revising and singing our songs in front of each other and trying to correct our mistakes in the morning time. The friend who was absent came on the competition day after recovering from illness. He was worried but though he was the naughtiest kid of the class he said I will manage don't worry. When we asked "how?" He responded you just wait and watch. Few of us sang the song. Some stuck while some did it easily. When my friend's turn came he took a pause and started singing "Brazil taa ra ra ra ra raa, taa ra ra ra ra raa brazil" (this was the most played song on weddings and dj at that time) The whole class laughed like mad. The english teacher's face was a mix of humor and anger at that time. She was confused with her feelings. She wanted to laugh and be angry at the same time. This song has only 1 word "brazil" and rest music so it was legally an English song. He got 2 on 10 but we classmates got a memory worth remembering.

Difference between summary and a book review? *PLEASE HELP!!!*?

Hi :) im doing my book report and i have to write a summary of my book... here's what i have so far...but does it sound like too much of a book review instead of a summary???

Blair and Ardith were brought together by a bizarre, twisted sort of fate; either that or they were both total social outcasts. Leftovers, written by Laura Weiss, tells the story of two teenage girls who were both brought up in abusive homes. Although the types of abuse differed, the two girls could related to each other in seeing that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side and that everybody has their own set of problems to cope with.
This novel begins by inferring that a tragedy has occurred; Blair is narrating to start off.

Is it possible to score 90+ marks in English in 12th HSC Board, Science Stream?

The people who are saying, "I scored 95" all belong to ICSE/CBSE Board. I don't even know why these folks are answering this question for HSC.Scoring 90+ in HSC Board Exams is super tough. Scoring 90+ in SSC Board Exams is equally tough. Not because State Board students are dumb, but because State Board doesn't give marks that easy. The checking of State Board is very difficult compared to CBSE/ICSE Board. But, hey! I did score 90+ in SSC and 85+ in HSC.Here's my English score :SSC - 93HSC - 86Again, SSC and HSC cannot be compared. Because, in SSC all we do is prepare for Boards all year. But, in HSC we have to prepare for various entrance exams which makes it almost impossible to study for English. Scoring 90+ in English in state Board in super though. I was the only person in my school who did it that year. Here are the tips to get 90+ in English :Be perfect with grammar. You should never loose marks in grammar questions.Be selective about writing skills. You should choose those writing skills options which are easier to score in.Try to give an elaborate answer in the personal response type questions. While writing speeches/ expansions be sure to use phrases, idioms, anything that can make your language rich. Also, you must read the textbooks well.P.S. - Scoring 90+ isn't impossible, but definitely tough. It's not about memory, it's about your conceptual clarity.Hope this helps !Cheers! :)
