Party Apartment For 1 Night Rent In Nyc

Would you rent an apartment in Manhattan without seeing it?

NO!Renting an apartment without seeing it is a recipe for disaster, especially here in New York City. That's a good way of getting scammed. By rule, you should always look at an apartment. Otherwise, you may get scammed by paying for an apartment that doesn't really exist or the seller has no rights to. Some red flags to look out for are:Asking for money without meeting with the landlord or seeing the apartment. Sometimes, they make stories like "I'm out of the country" or other convenient excuses. They have you wire money. Money wire transfer is the weapon of choice for scams because they're often untraceable and all it takes is a fake ID. Pay by check, although many landlords prefer cash (so they don't get taxed). When you pay by cash, always get a receipt for the month.Upfront costs and fees just for seeing, not buying/renting an apartment.Making it too easy to rent. The more reputable landlords require credit score checks, proof of income, and criminal background checks. Beware if they don't check up on your history unless they personally know you.You should also do your due diligence and do some research to see if the landlord really is the landlord. Sometimes, they adopt fake names and identities to "rent" a space that's not legally theirs and then run. Also, there may be some repairs needed in the space for rent. A good rule to follow is that if the landlord hasn't done repairs on an unoccupied apartment, it means he/she won't care to cover repairs once you move in as well.Moral of the story: if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

What are the best places to rent apartment in NJ for commuting to NYC under $1500?

I share a nice apartment in Secaucus, which goes for $2k.  If I were not going to share, I would not need nearly this much space, so I think $1500 must be possible. For transit into the city, there are basically 3 regions in town:  1)  north of route 3, 2) south of route 3, and 3) over by the train station.   There are apartments near the train station which run shuttles at rush hour, from which you can get a train to Penn station easily.   (That's region 3 in my scheme above).  South of route 3, there are a couple of buses that run regularly into the Port Authority at 42nd street, the 122 is the most popular at rush hour.   North of route 3 there are other buses, but I'm less familiar with them. The downside of Secaucus is it's not the youth-party-town of a place like Hoboken.   If you live quietly and don't care about that, it's a decent place.

I want to book a 2+ bedroom apartment in Bangalore for a night. Where can I find one?

As suggested in one of the answers to try service apartment, I would second that.In case you are planning to stay in the city side near Jaynagar, you can consider South Shelters. It is a service apartment in Jaynagar 11 the block which is a 2 bhk flat (2 bedrooms with attached washrooms, 1 living area,1 kitchen) at RS 3500 per night. Please figure out your itinerary during the stay in Blore. Commutation is an issue in Blr and traffic jams are unavoidable.PS: We had tried this service apartment during my cousin's marriage recently in Nov 2017.

What would happen if I sublet my apartment?

Rental laws vary from state to state but in general, if you sublet your apartment in violation of your lease you would be in "breach of contract" and your landlord would have grounds for immediate eviction.

The other issue is that the person you rent to could easily take advantage of you and you would have no recourse. What happens if they take all of your stuff or accidentally burn the place down. Stupid little things like running up your phone bill or charging a bunch of Pay Per View movies. This stuff can add up quickly so a $1,000 might be cheap compared to what trying to rent the apartment could cost you.

Keep in mind that you many know the person very well and trust them completely. However, you have no control over who they bring over and what that person might do.

I had a time share that we rented for an entire week but only used it on the weekend. We let a friend use it for free for a couple of nights that we weren't going to be there and they had a party and trashed the place. We got stuck with the repair bills just for trying to be nice!

How much is rent in California?

I lived in Long Beach, CA for over 30 years prior to moving for a more economical state.

In California, normally you would rent an apartment and buy a condo. In New York City you are able to purchase an apartment, California is a different culture in this area.

My rent for a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, 800 square foot apartment in a fair neighborhood was $1250 per month 3 years ago. There was an additional cost of $75.00 for a one car garage, the total rent was $1325 per month. This was 3 years ago.

Rent does not go down, only up I imagine the rent where I once stayed has increased,a s well as the rental for a garage if you would want one.

The area around Venice Santa Monica beach area was extremely higher than my rent in Long Beach.

You are currently 13 year of age and is considering this potential move when you are approximately 18 years of age 5 years from now.

Everything is expensive in California. Gas is normally about 50 cent higher than other states. Utilities are not normally collected in your monthly rent, therefore you would be required to pay a deposit and have the utilities turned on in your name.

Food is not expensive as there are no California sales tax on raw food.

You might would want to spend a little time making a determination as to what type of job or position you would need to have in order to move and pay the high prices of rent and other things in California. This is important as your normal fast food job and Wal mart or other retail jobs are not sufficient to live happily in California. You would need an education through a 4 year university or attend a trade school to have a skill an employer would need or you are able to start a business of your own.

Education would be key no matter where you decide to reside.

Any information provided you on this forum today would be of no use in 5 years. Things would have changed economically that nothing mentioned her would be of any use to you.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.

How can I get a warehouse to throw parties in once a week?

Nightly, monthly or yearly leases are more common. When you want to do parties, a large number of warehouses will say no. Going for ones that are already known to do events is your best bet. Many warehouses do art galleries and it's your job to convince them to do a party. Also, many have had bad experiences with over the top parties or have heard stories of such and it's your prerogative to ensure the party won't ruin their space. Good luck!Check out these sites:Commercial Real Estate For Sale and LeaseYelpWarehouse for RentLitCircle

How do they get furniture into apartments in skyscrapers?

I went to a party last night in a NYC building where the apartment was on the forty-sixth floor. Something I kept thinking about was how the hell they managed to get furniture into the place. Yes, there's an elevator, but it wasn't huge. Meanwhile this guy had a TV the size of an entire wall, and a goddamn piano. So how do they get huge furniture into sky scrapers?

What happens if you leave stuff in your apartment after lease ends?

My lease ended May 31 and I hadn't completely removed everything I owned from the apartment by the next day (June 1). I had some personal belongings scattered around and hadn't yet been able to clean and sweep up trash. My landlord's handyman (guy who takes care of repairs, paints the walls, mows lawn, etc.) came by the house the night of June 1, saw I had a bunch of stuff lying around, and proceeded to throw it all out on the front porch and tell me to come get it. I come by with 2 friends and clear everything out and help him with sweeping and cleaning up so that by the time we leave the apartment on June 1, it is in good shape. It should be noted that besides my personal stuff and trash lying around, there were no damages to the apartment.
However, now my landlord wants to keep my security deposit because I didn't vacate the premises since I had left some stuff. However, from what I've been reading, New York State has a law regarding abandoned personal property, and I think that even though I left it, my landlord can't really throw it away, that he has to follow some certain steps. I've also read that he can only hold me responsible for the cost it took for him to get my stuff moved out of the apartment and the place cleaned up, however since I helped in doing this with his already hired handyman, he didn't pay any extra. So my question is, does he have the right to keep my deposit? If not, what are the relevant laws that I can cite?

How often does it snow in Buffalo, NY in wintertime?

it depends on the year. We run in cycles of normal snow (anything under three feet is normal here LOL) and BIG snow -- ie. the blizzard a few years back that dumped 7 feet on us (we exported a bunch to Denver because there was no place to put it!). Last year was actually pretty - just enough to keep things looking white and clean with that little glimmer on the branches.

Don't believe that guy about housing prices - the city is down due to other issues but suburban houses haven't lost value. Ours has gone up about 1/3 in 8 years.

Honestly however, snow falls on you - you move it and get on with life. We're rarely closed for more than a day here -- and our weather doesn't take houses apart like tornadoes, hurricanes and earthquakes. We keep some basic emergency gear in case electric goes out, or we get stuck in the car - but like anything in nature you learn what to do, when to do it and adapt.

UB is a relatively nice school - the campus is centrally located to bus routes, supermarkets, the party district, and some nifty clothing stores (or if you prefer, arts/antiques in allentown). And since you're a NYS resident, you'll get a great price on tuition comparatively.

How much do you pay for rent in West Vancouver?

A lot.I don’t live there but I was Considering it and I did a lot of research. For a decent, 1 bedroom apartment, you’ll probably end up paying about $2400/month. It’s quite a lot of money. If you need a 2 bedroom, more like $3000-$3600. These are the more affordable options…Regardless, any place you look at will cost a lot. However, I did find that if you get a place with a roommate, it becomes pretty affordable, at about $1200/month per person. Still not cheap, but affordable.
