I am having my 12th birthday in a month and already have some ideas but I need more! I am a girl who is inviting 7 girls. I have a little brother participating also. See, we're going to watch a movie around 9 and we're going to bed at 11:30. In the middle of the day, we're going to the rainforest cafe. But we need more things to do. So here are my questions. Where could we go for entertainment? I thought of bowling, an arcade, and a water park. Please don't say anything too girly. Next, what could we do for party games? Don't say truth or dare. What movies could we watch? We're looking for a PG-13 and under. Finally, how could we make sure to keep my brother out of our business? My daughter is turning twelve soon so we are trying to come up with a fun party idea. Last year she went bowling and this year I offered to have it at my home. There will be 10-20 girls there. We are still deciding on if it will be a sleepover or not. What did you do for your 12th birthday party or what are you planning to do? We are trying to stay under $200.00, but we will go up about $25 more. Should we have it at home or somewhere else? My daughter isn't really into make-up, but loves spas. She is a real girly-girl. CLOTHES. honestly, I think 11 year olds should Wear things that are NOT revealing and something that they like. I Think 11 year olds should have the right to choose what to wear unless it's inappropriate or something you dont approve of, Let them wear things that are trendy now or are dark coloured, so what that your daughter wants to dress in all black it's her style, it's what she likes! it's kinda like you, when you were younger you had your own style and still do, But remind your kids, tweens and teens that cleavage isn't everything.MAKEUP. I think you can't be too strict about the eyeshadow(natural), Lip balm, Tinted lip balm, lipgloss, mascara(not TOO crazy) and a bit of powder . I mean she just wants to experiment and try new things you can't blame her, can you?
