Pc Help With Choosing A Graphics Card

Help me with choosing graphic card.?

Video RAM (GDDR3) is completely separete from system RAM (DDR2) so you can use a video card that has GDDR3 with a motherboard using DDR2 RAM.

It depends on your budget, but I'd recommend the following video cards (in order if increasing price/performance):
GeForce 9800GT
GeForce 260GTX
GeForce 295GTX

Help choosing a graphics card for HP Envy Phoenix?

So Im ordering a HP Phoenix h9-1420t and they give me 6 graphics cards to choose from when I customize it.
1GB AMD Radeon HD 7670 [DVI, DP, HDMI, VGA adapter]
Included in price
3GB Nvidia GeForce GT640 [DVI, HDMI and VGA via adapter]
+$70.00
2GB AMD Radeon HD 8760 [Dual Bracket: DVI, HDMI, DP & VGA via adapter]
+$170.00
1.5GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 [Dual Bracket; 2x DVI, HDMI, DP, VGA via adapter]
+$200.00
2GB Nvidia GTX680 [Dual Bracket; DVI, HDMI, DP & VGA via adapter]
+$450.00
3GB AMD Radeon HD 7950 [Dual Bracket; DVI, HDMI, 2x mini-DP]
+$450.00

Now I know the expensive ones will be better, but all things considered, is it worth it? I would consider the $450 options worth it only if the significantly improved gaming performance. Furthermore, there are 2 $450 options listed, which is better?
Ultimately, would I really even benefit from choosing anything other than the default/ no extra cost option? What do you recommend?

How do I choose a graphic card?

If you’re on a budget, and don’t play the newest games, GTX 1050 Ti.If you’re still on a budget, but want to play something more recent on 1920x1080 60Hz, GTX 1060.If you want to try VR, GTX 1070 or 1070 Ti.If you want to try high refresh rates or high resolutions, GTX 1080 or 1080 Ti.If you want high refresh rates and high resolutions… well, you’re pretty much screwed, maybe RTX 2080 Ti or something? :)Then the next question is which specific board maker - about that, just read/watch some reviews. The biggest questions are does it have good power delivery, and does it have good cooling (like, is it loud, does it have enough capacity to actually cool down the chip when running at full speed, etc.).Specifically about cooling, there are two types - open air and blower style:(image from Open Air GPU or Blower Cooler GPU - Which One Should You Get? - Dragon Blogger Technology)Normally you want open air (the one in the back, on the left), except if you’re building in a small case (e.g. Mini ITX) that doesn’t have a lot of ventilation, in which case a blower would be better.Oh, and also check what kind of power the GPU expects, and whether your power supply will be able to deliver. A high-end card can draw around 200 Watts or more, and they generally need two 8-pin PCIe power cables, or one 8-pin and one 6-pin (the 6-pin is often just an 8-pin where two of the pins can be left unused). While the GTX 1050 Ti should need no external power at all (it can get everything it needs from just the PCI Express slot).

Which do I choose 8gb ram and 2gb graphics card or 4gb ram and graphics card? I want it for gaming and college.

First of all, just for gaming preference it doesn't matter what ram u have, only the graphic card is needed to run a game. And that graphic cards ram matter, not the processor's ram.If you will play high end games and dont have a high-end gameing graphic card like gtx1050 etc. Then i would say that u might need a 4 gb for better performance.Although your computer will then lag in other high end performing tasks, just fir example it will take more time to do a 4k video editing, etc when you will have less ram.Its your choice, if will only do simple gaming like fifa 17, you can go for a 2gb graphic card like gtx940 mx, but if are going to go for more high end game you will need a better graphic card and ram will only smothen the process. And as far as daily work is to be considered, i will suggest you to go for 8gb ram, as it will help in other task, multi-tasking will become easy. You will not find lag in near future. Plus graphic cards ram doesn't matter much, as i think you will be buying a mediocre graphic card, bcs all high end ones by default come with at least 4gb ram(mostly 8gb).Hence go for 8gb and 2gb graphic card.

I need help picking a graphics card!?

I bought this computer a couple months ago, http://www.amazon.com/CybertronPC-Patriot-GM1293A-Desktop-Black/dp/B00D1KWVXK. Now I want to pick a graphics card for it, and install it myself, however, I've never done that before. I've had no experience installing anything like that, or even choosing what would work out fine with this computer. I was looking around on amazon on its details, and people were saying its an integrated graphics with amd, and it's something that doesn't have a graphics card already, but has a x16 spot for it. Anyways, I was hoping I could get some advice and maybe some links from amazon. I also heard that any high end ones with like 2 gb of DDR5 graphics cards might require a different power supply, I'm prepared to get that too. Thanks for any help in advance guys!

What graphic card to choose to run GTA V ?

The things you need to look at before downloading a game are:

- processor
- graphics card
- RAM
- free disk space (you will need at least 60 GB)

Your i5 3330 is fine. Not great, but probably good enough. You don't say how much RAM your computer has, though. You will need a minimum of 4GB but ideally 8GB for GTA V.

The NVIDIA graphics cards are pretty good. The ones with GT are not ideal for gaming, you want one of the GTX ones. The higher the number after the GTX (660, 860, etc.), the newer and better the graphics card, most of the time. The NVIDIA GTX 660 with 2 GB will be good enough but, again, not great. It should run the game pretty well on normal graphics settings, but if you try to put it up to high you will start running into performance issues.

GTA V has three main graphics settings: normal, high, and ultra.

But before anything you need to make sure your graphics card can actually be upgraded. A lot can't, especially laptops, and most of the time they will only fit a few specific graphics cards. Google your PC model or better yet ask an employee at the place where you bought it to see if it can be upgraded.

So yeah, I'd recommend you get the GeForce GTX 660 graphics card, IF your PC will take it.

Remember that GTA V is a HUGELY demanding game. It looks absolutely beautiful on my laptop, running on high settings. I CAN put it on ultra but it often makes the keyboard controls really delayed which makes it almost impossible to play, so I just keep the graphics on high. Here are my specs, for reference:

- i7 processor, up to 3.5 GHz
- 16 GB of RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M with 4 GB of memory

Which graphics card should I choose for my Compaq SR5610F?

Of those cards, the 9600GT is best. The 9600GSO is next, followed by the 9600GS.

However all of those are old cards, 3 generations behind. Where did you find them?

The GeForce GT 240 was Nvidia's newer-generation replacement for the 9600GT. It performs the same but runs cooler and is more energy efficient. The GeForce GT 440 is the same speed but adds DX11 support. On the AMD side, a Radeon HD 6570 is equivalent to the GeForce GT 440.

A Radeon HD 6670 is better than all of the cards mentioned so far, but overpriced.

The Radeon HD 6770 is much more powerful, but costs $100 and requires a 450W or higher power supply.

I'd go with any of those cards over a 9600GT. The 9600GSO and 9600GS don't warrant consideration.

Can I put graphics card on my pc?HELP PLEASE!?

depends on whether you can open it or not, sometimes in all-in-one computers its a bit hard to open so maybe not. I'm pretty sure that the setup of this computer is more like a laptop than a desktop, so most probably not. You could always upgrade the RAM which is usually what you should do before upgrading graphics. However, you could try getting an external graphics card (i've never tried one out so i wouldn't know) but i've heard they work pretty well. Choosing a card depends on what you want to do, for example if you want hardcore gaming you're probably better off spending a higher amount, or if you're looking for just regular gaming and watching movies doing work etc you could go for an AMD, there are many options and many prices you just have to decide which one is best for you first.

How do I choose a graphic card suitable for my PC?

Question asked: How do I choose a graphics card suitable for my PC?I’m going to answer this in 3 different parts“suitable” as in usage“suitable” as in “how do I cram this thing into my case”suitable as in “how do I cram this thing into my budget?”1.) Suitable for usage: what are you planning to do? Take a look at the games you want to play. Are they all from 4 or 5 years ago? Then the last generation of cards will work just fine and the current ones may even be overkill. It also depends on what your intended resolution is going to be: 1080p 60hz? the GTX X60 cards from Nvidia will do just fine (or the AMD equivalent, currently that would be the…. Rx X70?) If you’re going for 1080p with a higher refresh rate (144hz or higher) or 1440p, the Rx 580 or GTX 1070 is a great option. anything higher generally will require a GTX 1080 on up. Basically fit your graphics card to what you’re doing.2.) Suitable for size: Compare the case you have/ want for “maximum graphics cad length” vs the graphics card you’re looking at buying. Also keep in mind there may be some mini ITX cards that can fit smaller cases.3.) Suitable for budget: try to keep it to 1/3rd of your budget, but also keep in mind what you intend to be doing with it. While its awesome to say “I HAVE A TITAN Xp!” you’ll sound like you’re…. compensating… if follow that with “I’m gaming on a 1080p 60hz panel”
