People Giving Me Different Answers

People treat me different if i am wearing makeup?

It feels like there is a difference in the way people treat me if i am made up and go out to the grocery store vs if i just go out wearing a tee shirt, shorts and sandles. I feel like people are nicer to me if i get all ready just to go to the grocery store. Guys also would NEVER give me a second glance if i am not made up.

Am i just that hideous without makeup or do you think that it is a coincidence?

WHAT GIVES PEOPLE DIFFERENT ACCENTS?

Because some people grow up in different places, and if a single person starts talking some way, everybody follows.

Why do different Tarot readers give different answers for the same question?

Never get a reading on a reading. Avoid asking the same question or you will only end up confused. Go with your gut. The answer that felt right (even if it wasnt the answer you wanted to hear) is the answer for you. The reader YOU connect with is the reader for you.

Why do natives give me different answers to a same grammar question? I don’t deny the majority will agree on the same answer.

As the linguist John McWhorter puts it, “a language is a bundle of dialects”. We can actually take things farther: linguists also speak of “idiolects”. An “idiolect” is someone’s personal version of the language, taking into account their vocabulary, word preference, and so forth. (The root is the same as that of “idiosyncrasy”.)So, you’re going to get a variety of answers, because each person speaks the language a little bit differently. In the case of English, we have an additional factor. For many languages in the world, there is a formal body that sets the standards for the language. French has the Académie française, Greek the Center for the Greek language, Chinese the State Language Work Committee in the People’s Republic and the Nation Languages Committee in the Republic (Taiwan).English is unusual among widespread written languages in that it does not have any such body. Thus, there is no official standard for English. Rather, there are several different unofficial standards, which agree for the most part, but disagree on some points.(This is also part of why English spelling is such a mess. German and Spanish, for example, have had periodic spelling reforms, changing the official spellings of words to match their pronunciations. Thus, as pronunciation has changed over time, spellings have changed to match. English has nothing like this, so much of English spelling reflects older pronunciations that are no longer like how English words are pronounced now.)

Does moss have stomata? I keep finding different answers, please help!?

Only the moss sporophyte generation has them. So, they appear on the capsule, but not on the 'leafy' part of the plant, which is the gametophyte.

The same goes for hornworts, but not for liverworts, which completely lack stomata.

Why do people call me weird and treat me different?

It shouldn't matter what people think of us, but sadly, deep down we all care. It shouldn't be hard to be yourself in front of people but it could be hard to get a conversation with someone who has nothing in common with you. My advice, try to join clubs, or after school activities that you are interested in and you will meet people with your interest who eill be eager to have your opinion and insight. Also, its ok to be different that the cool part about people nobody's the same! When you find friends who are interested in what you are you won't think twice about what you are going to say. As for people talking about you, I'm sorry I know how that feels, what I do is I try my bst to ignore them but if you can try to stare bach coldly and walk away. You sound like an interesting person so have some self confidence hold yourself with pride looking at your achievements. Be strong and get involved with activities. I wish you the best of luck! God Bless!

If ten people are asked the same question and give five different answers, each claiming that their answer is the only correct one, which is correct?

It depends on the question, of course. Some answers are objective: Does the earth rotate around the sun? Yes. No matter how many people say 'No', the answer is always yes. There doesn't need to be a consensus and it's not a matter of opinion. It's an observable, verifiable fact. Some answers are subjective: Should I take job A or job B or go back to school or start my own business? Quora is full of questions like this where there's not necessarily a right or wrong answer. Each answerers opinions, background, and culture will affect what they believe is right. There's no saying that they're wrong, because there isn't really a wrong answer on something that is a matter of opinion.

Why do I receive a different answer to the same question from different psychics?

Sounds frustrating. Logically, however, I can think of several possible reasons for those differing answers you’ve been getting.(1) The psychics were all fakes and their answers were random guesses. Or one of the psychics was genuine, and the rest were fakes.(2) All the psychics were genuine but varied in their skill levels and areas of expertise.(3) If your question was about the future, and that future depended on you making a decision of some kind in the present, each of the psychics may have been seeing a different possible outcome. And you get to choose which future to manifest.(4) If you went to different psychics with the same question because you didn’t like the answer the first one gave you, your dissatisfaction may have led some of the psychics to want to please you, resulting in their objectivity being lost.(5) The question was fake, designed to test the psychics, so no matter what answer they would have given it would have been wrong.(6) There is no such thing as psychic ability, so all the answers you got were random guesswork.(7) A combination of the above factors.

Why do we act different around people we like? any solutions?

well, let me see if I can understand you correctly.... you pride yourself on not giving a rat's a$$ about anyone, and think of that as your default personality, but around this girl you do give a rat's a$$ about, you find yourself acting weird and funny, almost like you don't have a playbook for dealing with someone you DO care about??

Right so far....And your question, again, is 'why do we act different around people we [feel differently about]?'

Well....we sorta act different around people we feel different about. Like you weren't go chasing your postman down the street with an axe like you would your best guy friend if you caught him making out seriously with this girl you like, unless you caught the postman making out seriously with this girl you like?

Hope that sorta makes sense, I think...

What am I supposed to do when it feels like people are giving me different "answers" to my questions?

There is no "right" answer, only answers that either do or don't apply to you. There's a saying, "Take what you like, and leave the rest."Everyone comes from a different frame of reference, different believes, different life experiences. The purpose of having more than one person to bounce questions off and and listen to their input.Often, people make suggestions and receive "But ..." in return. Also, some people interpret questions differently. To be clearer:I was 100 pounds overweight and everyone was telling me to diet, even though I wasn't eating enough. What happened, was stopping a particular medication, took off the weight. No one had mentioned that, I figured it out on my own. When I lost the weight, I didn't change ANYTHING (food or exercise) but people didn't seem to understand.Sometimes, the only person who can answer a question is ourselves.
