Why do people make fun of my name?
People always make fun of my name.... I just dont understand. People think that I am so beautiful..... my boyfriend is the only one that does not laugh at my name when I say it. I know I should be proud of it and not care, but its builded up inside of me, and I just cant bare it. I talk to people about it..... No help. My friends tell me to just laugh with them, but i dont think its funny. I need some POSITIVE advise please. You can counter insults by saying "you keep going on about it are you jelous or something" Or " yes thats me name deal with it son!" or "Got better name than you mate" These replys and similar replys are hard to deal with so people with eventualy leave it. Act like you dont care or these idots will eat at you like vultures. I hope things get better for you Good luck!

Aww I'm sorry to hear that. I don't think your name is that bad. I knew a girl whose name was (and I kid you not) Bich Ho! Well let everyone know how it makes you feel and be detailed and specific about it. I'm sure a few people will gain some compassion and stop. However there will probably be some people that know and still try to harass you about it. My advice is to just ignore them. Show that you have not even a slightest care about the name calling and it will get old, trust me. And if your friends continue to make fun of you about it even after knowing how you feel about it, then stay away from them for a while. After noticing what assholes they've been to you, (that is if they REALLY ARE your friends) they'll start to miss their Lamb :D

It's really too bad that you are so short. My first piece of advice would be to stay out of the pool. Also, when people make fun of you, understand that it's probably due to envy - especially when it's women teasing you. Finally, if you are a minor, be sure that you aren't carrying pictures of yourself with you. Keep your head up and when people rub you the wrong way try to hold firm and stand tall.
People making fun of my name?
I'm 14, so I have a weird name, and people make fun of it. They just make up irritating nicknames to go with my name, and then keep saying it and laugh at it. Then they say my name and keep saying it, then laugh at it like "Haha what kind of name is Angenik." I know my name sucks, but it isn't my fault. I didn't choose to pick my own name. Nobody did, but my mom. I never even met a person with the same name as me. I hate this name! Like today I had a doctors appointment, and so they called my name on the announcer at school to dismiss me and some boys laughed at it. Like I never even talked to them before, and then they just make fun of my name for no apparent reason. Then substitute teachers always mispronounce my name. Its completely irritating. Could I by chance change it in the future? I wish I had a normal name. By chance if you don't know how to pronounce it. Why do people call me names or make fun of me of what I like?
We all got teased for various things— they will find something, even if you are the most attractive person in the world— they will say you have big ears or a weird chin or you walk funny. There is no escaping the cruelty of bullying really, you just let it fly right over you and don’t absorb it. You can always say something back. If they are making fun of you for being short and too quiet, you can say “Yep, I’m short and quiet, what about it?” and shrug like you don’t even care. It can go like this (not that you would want to do this, but an example:)Them: “ Hey, where are you going shortie? Going to be quiet somewhere?”You: Look them in eye and say “Yep, that’s me. The quietest, shortest guy/girl in the world” and look bored and unamused.Them: ‘Why are you so quiet? Why don’t you talk?”You: “Guess I don’t have much to say. Must be because I’m so short, huh?”You basically repeat what they say back to them in a bored manner. When you parrot someone like this, it makes them look like they don’t have good material. You continue this with any and all rude remarks, and it knocks the fun out of it for them.
