Greatly limit anything with flour or sugar n it, literally try to completely avoid these. B careful with starch like potatoes, rice, pasta; one small serving or 2 no more than once a month. Choose fruits for ur carbs, eat lots & lots of veggies especially green ones, (like 8 cups a day of low carb veggies, not corn, carrots which r okay n small portions once n awhile). I hope this helps u. I wish I'd known at 14 what I know today. It's relatively easy & fun to get & stay healthy by eating right; but, the hard part is the easy access to fast good yumminess garbage! The other "ideal" weight (the one that most people consider to be the perfect thin) is 10 kg under height.

If you're interested in staying healthy then you shouldn't go only by your weight. It's not as accurate as you think. The number shown on the scale is the sum of all your body organs, muscles, fat etc. So you might have an ideal weight for your age, but most of it may come from body fat (which is not exactly healthy...) or it could come from muscles.
So the best thing would be to have some blood tests and see clearly how much body fat % and muscle % you have to see if you need to lose fat, gain or maintain. But if you don't have problems with your weight I don't suggest going through all this.
If you have a digital scale that shows those %, then you could save the time and pain from doing blood tests.

It depends on her bones. If she has big bones and a lot of muscle then she is probably fine.
Just encourage her to eat HEALTHY - lots of veggies, fruit, and whole grains (brown). Lots of water.
Make sure she gets daily exercise and she will always be the perfect weight. :-)
