My env3 is not receiving text messages?
Call 611 from your phone and let them know what is going on. They are probably going to want you to go into a store so they can flash your phone and/or check the programing.
Can you still receive text messages if you have no bars?
I know you can't send them unless you have one bar or more. So is it possible to receive text messages if you have no bars? If someone sends you a text message during the time you have no bars, will you get it later? Or will you not get it at all? I have TracFone, if that helps any.

you will get them eventually when you get into an area that has a signal.

This used to happen to me from time to time. You need to go to your 'settings' then look for 'network settings' or 'mobile settings' (it will be something similar to this). It will search for available networks. You then need to choose a different network from orange. Select the other network then change back to orange and you will see the texts coming through. Thanks for the A2A.If you haven’t done so already, try restarting your iPhone.Also, tap Settings, then tap Notifications and scroll down until you find Messages. Tap it and check your notification settings. Also check to make sure Do Not Disturb is not turned on. (It is really easy to accidentally turn it on in Control Center). You can tell if Do Not Disturb is on if there is a moon at the top of the iPhone screen next to the location, bluetooth, and battery indicators.If none of that works, you could try doing a Factory Restore.That’s about all you can do short of taking it to an Apple Store or buying a new phone. (Hey, it’s an iPhone 4 — maybe its time.)
Can I still receive text messages if my phone is turned off?
I really don't want to waste any battery, so I want to turn off my phone during the night when I sleep. Some of my closer friends however, stay up very late and might send me text messages. If I turn off my phone, will I still receive the text message? Will it say that I received messages once I turn it back on? I don't really care about anything else, just the texts.
