Pictures Do You Think My Lip Looks Awkward

I always look very awkward and stiff in pictures any suggestions?

Every one tells me I am an attractive person but take a horrible picture. It is like every single flaw I have comes out in photographs. I use to be very photogenic but now I get so nervous about the picture that my smile looks fake and uncomfortable.

My sister told me to just make funny faces but then I just look like a troll having a fit.

Any help would be very appreciated, I am going to an event tomorrow and sunday with lots of pictures to be taken. I know A lot of people in the 20 and under age bracket have mastered taking cute pics so if you have any hints send them my way ASAP.

Thanks again

Would a septum piercing look awkward on me?

I really would like a septum piercing. Just a small one. I think it could look awkward on my face though. my nose is small and kind of wide and upturned, and I have a big upper lip.

Here's a pic. I'm on the right closest to the camera.

does anyone else have or had the same problem? has your smile improved? :/

My smile looks awkward in photos. What should I do to improve my smile?

Smile is the most beautiful thing in a person that everybody appreciate about. Let it be about anything that makes a person to smile and from that others too gets a reason to follow and creates a best moment with joy and peace. What if you look bad in smiling?Well, smiling depends on how you really feel or take about those things. Remember when you scored good marks and you smiled out happily. But if you wonder how I looked at that time you perhaps looked very beautiful. Because you smiled through happiness and for that moment you really didn't care about anything what comes out.Don't bother about how to look best in every single shot taken. Because you will be in dilemma whether to smile or not knowing that you look bad in photos. Feel like you are free to smile, to laugh.

Why do people post "sexy" pictures on Facebook?

Am I the only one who finds this hilarious? People are always posting pictures where their lips are pouted out or they are laying on a bed.... and even if the girl is pretty it just looks ridiculous because its like "I need attention!!" screaming.

Anyone with me on this one?

I like myself in the mirror, but not in pictures?

When I look in the mirror, I like the way I look. I have lost 20 pounds over the past few months, and i´m really happy with my body. I like my hair, my body, except for my face because in pictures my mouth looks bigger, my teeth look even more bigger, and my face looks chubbier. but in the mirror i like the way my everything looks. So my dad is a Picture-a-holic or whatever (he loves to take pictures) and when he takes pictures of me and everyone ect, i hate the way i look in most pictures taken of me. Can a camera really make you look chubby and with a big mouth? why is that? I just feel like i look very odd in them. Am i just being too hard on myself when i judge the pictures??
Thanks
Oh I´m 13 btw
If that helps :)

Why do I feel awkward looking at my photos taken by other people?

I was not raised in the age of Selfies, I never took a picture of my own self and I've never liked pictures of me. I hated my school pictures, I always thought I looked ugly, long before my step dad came into my life and started TELLING me that I was ugly. I've had lots of people in the years since who have told me I am pretty but I don't see thru the same eyes that they do. Which leads me to the answer to your question….if you are used to doing Selfies, obviously YOU get to control how it looks, you find the best angle, keep your chin lifted, do your “duck lips” etc. then you can use tools on your phone to filter and airbrush out the flaws. When other people take pics of you, it's more spontaneous and it might not be the most flattering angle or lighting….you are seeing yourself the way that most other people see you. Which there is absolutely nothing wrong with. If you are feeling awkward about this, I would suggest that you deliberately get a bunch of these candid pics and some video of yourself, and watch it as many times as necessary to get used to seeing yourself from the outside and seeing yourself Honestly. I always hated pictures of myself, but NOW when I look back on them I'm glad that they weren't overly posed or set up, I'm glad that they reflect how it really is or was. I've never liked pics that are set up and posed.

Why do millennials stick out their tongues for pictures?

Personally, when I stick my tongue out in pictures, it's because it's a safe, socially acceptable way to avoid smiling if I think I'll look awkward or unattractive.I decided to do some research and asked my teenage friends why they stuck their tongue out in pictures.3 people said they never stuck their tongues out in photos, and 1 person presumably got creeped out by my question and never responded. My personal research may not be true in other places (I live in Jakarta), so I decided to do some further digging.According to an article in Psychology Today (What Does It Mean When We Stick Our Tongues Out?) on sticking one’s tongue out, people stick their tongues out because of several possible factors (I listed the more relevant ones below):[Sticking out one’s tongue] is a way of being cute, for it’s implicitly associated with behaviors of children meant to tease or amuse. [And there can also be an almost endearing “cheekiness” about it.]It’s used to highlight the act of having just done something really silly or stupid—as in, “Jeez, I just emailed the wrong person!”It’s used to connote that one has just made a jokeIt can be seen as an almost comical “facial” retortTo summarize, teenagers stick their tongues out in photos because it's socially acceptable and it comes across as playful. This is the most research I've ever done for something not school-related.
