Pins And Needles Feeling After I Hurt My Ankle

Is it normal to have a pins and needles feeling in your cast?? ?

Pain in the cast is completely normal. The bone is healing. What type of air cast is your mother in? Does it support her foot or just her ankle? Make sure that when she is walking on the foot, she is wearing very supportive shoes. Ensure that when she is elevating the foot, it is above her heart. The pins and needles may be from the swelling in the foot that occurs in all fracture situations. If it becomes a constant numbness or if the swelling does not subside, have her see her primary care physician or an orthopedist in your area. Also suggest a regimen of Tylenol and Ibuprofen, taking 2 Extra Strength Tylenol (500mg) and then 4 hours later taking 3 Ibuprofen (200mg) and so on and so forth. Ensure that she can take Ibuprofen as not all medications can be taken with Ibuprofen.

Pins and needles when orgasming?

Lol, it means that someone is doing something right and you are having an amazing orgasm!! :) I never answer questions like this but I couldn't resist this one, lol. My husband and I were talking about this just last night. We both agreed that we love the "Tingly Toes" and try for it to happen as often as possible. For me personally, the more my toes tingle, the better the orgasm!!

Can coccyx pain cause a pins-and-needles feeling on the legs?

As the coccyx has nerve supplies from the sacrococcygeal plexus SI—S4 (?) and while such pain may arise from pressure on nerves supplying the coccyx, but also the “saddle” area of the pelvic floor, such nerve connections only reveal the dermatomal distribution of the sacrococcygeal nerve network. Myotomal and osteotomal innervation from the same nerve networks can produce vasoconstriction of circulation to the tissues of the legs and thus to the blood supply of lower limb nerves via the autonomic nervous system—such an effect can create hypoxia of the nerves that may explain “pins and needles” in the legs! If you have ever sat too long and compressed a blood vessel or nerve to an area long enough to create numbness, then upon removing the compression, on recovery, “pins and needles” are a frequent reaction!

Tingling and numbness after ankle sprain?

I sprained my ankle two weeks ago (grade 2 sprain). Whenever I try to walk, it feels like I'm walking on needles. Sometimes it randomly starts burning like an open wound (when there isn't a cut on it). Sometimes it is numb and sometimes it is overly sensitive...like tickles when someone barely touches the top of my foot. Are these things normal? What is going on?

Foot hurts and feels like it needs to pop for no reason?

My foot hurts when i move it or try to walk on it. It feels like it needs to pop or something. This happened out of no where and for no apparent reason. What could this be from, and how do i fix this problem?

How can I stop a pins and needles sensation in my feet?

Find out what's causing it. Usually pins and needles are caused by either by ill-fitting clothes or shoes, or by something in your posture that's compressing your nerves and / or blood vessels. Common positions that will cause pins and needles are sitting cross-legged on the ground (half lotus), kneeling, sitting with a leg underneath you, or sitting on a chair with a sharp edge to the seat that catches you right behind your knees. If you change positions and find that the pins and needles clears up, it's probably postural and you're fine. Just remember to change your position on a regular basis in future, since pins and needles usually comes on after being in one position for a long time.Make sure your shoes fit correctly, and don't rub or squeeze your feet too tightly. Don't wear constricting jewellery around your ankles (or anywhere else on your leg). However, if the pins and needles doesn't clear up when you move, or if you get it on a regular basis, you should probably get checked out by your doctor. Numbness or tingling in the feet can be an early sign of various medical conditions, including diabetes, Guillain-Barré, and circulatory conditions like Raynaud’s. Don't ignore it!

Does a Tattoo hurt ? Hate needles !!?

What does a tattoo feel like? How much does a tattoo hurt around the inner upper ankle area?

I have gotten tattooed in almost all the areas of my body and my experience is this:Getting tattooed feelings like hit with a rubber band on the same spot repeatedly.Initially there is the pain that comes from just getting the process started. However, once the adrenaline kicks in (your body starts getting the feel that there is ‘damage’ happening, you start feeling stronger)The outline needle is sharper and some of the tattoo artists uses it a bit more harder to ensure the outline comes well. So it will hurt a bit. There are certain parts of your body which are more sensitive than others (neck & inner bicep area versus the forearms). If you want to know how sensitive the place would be - Hit yourself with a rubber band a couple of times in that area to give you an idea. There are some tattoo artists who are very skilled at helping you get a tattoo. So they know how to use the right pressure. The rest don’t care and those are the ones you will experience more pain. The pain however is not that great that you cannot bear it or you will scream in agony. Its always important to mentally psyche yourself before you get a tattoo. Will always make it easier. (Assume you are getting into a fight. The adrenaline kicks in faster)Make sure you eat something that has energy - banana or light sweet biscuit or some sugary drink (redbull) or you may faint because of being too tensedAs you cross the 3 hour mark, it may get slightly uncomfortable every hourPlaces where your skin is thin (fingers, ankles, head, shin area) you will feel the needle hit the bone. May get slightly uncomfortable. Finally relax - its just a small needle pricking you.Loy Machedo

Weird Tingling feeling in my right leg?

I have a weird tingling feeling in my right leg, down the back of the thigh and down to my ankle, its not quite pins and needles but it feels strange and its not painful. Happens mostly when im in bed or sitting down.

Also

I have occasional pain in my ankle but the weird thing is it only happens if i am in certain positions - For example;
When i am sitting down on a chair and i straighten my leg and flex my foot up towards the ceiling i get this really really sharp shooting pain in the right front of my ankle. This also happens if i stand up straight and try and touch my toes.
The pain lasts for a couple of seconds and disappears when i move position. It didn't use to give me any trouble at all unless i was doing the above, but now it has started to hurt after i have done a work out or a long walk etc .
Does anyone know what this could be?? I will really appreciate all answers.
