Differences Between Disney and Pixar?
Wasnt disney a "Musical Production?" while pixar was more of "What if objects had feelings?" But Big Hero 6 had like no music, Pixar is making good dinosaur, and Disney is making zootopia. They all seem so similar. Why is there even two studios under disney, when they are making basically the same stuff

Disney owns Pixar, so they're very much related but they work on different things. Pixar is an animation studio that makes computer generated 3D animations such as Toy Story, Wall-E, Frozen, Wreck-it Ralph, etc. Disney's movies nowadays are either more traditionally drawn (like The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, The Princess and the Frog) or live action (Maleficent, Into the Woods, the new Cinderella). Since Disney owns Pixar all of Pixar's movies has Disney's name on them but if a Disney movie isn't made with CG then it won't be a Pixar film.

Derrick's got it right. Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios are quite seperate. Though Pixar is technically owned by Disney, they work in different studios with different people and still have a great deal of competition. Disney Animation Studio films just have the Disney name (Disney's Frozen) while Disney slaps their name on Pixar films (Disney-Pixar's Monsters University) because they distribute and market the films. Just to confuse the issue, one of the founders of Pixar Animation Studios, John Lasseter (who was previously fired from Disney Animation Studios) was dubbed Chief Creative Officer of both Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios. He has restored Disney to its former glory (before he came they were doing films like 'Meet the Robinsons' and with him they're doing 'Frozen'). Pixar's decline in movie quality lately has been blamed by Lasseter's absence (though Monsters University was decent, it didn't quite reach the heights of some of Pixar's finest efforts, e.g. Toy Story 3). Sorry that's confusing but the whole thing is pretty messed up.

Anything attached to Disney has Walt's name in front of it, whether people include it or not. So the creator of the storyline has nothing to do with the movie company name in this case. The only movies that are different are Pixar movies, since the Walt Disney Corporation collaborated with Pixar to make certain films. Does Edition 2 have all of the videos and material of Edition 1? I looked at the covers, and it looks like Edition 1 is more classic Disney. I haven't seen all of the newer Disney movies, so I'd like to know what's the difference between the two before I buy one.

Disneyland is the name of the actual park. in the 90s they added Downtown Disney and Disney's California Adventure. they also have a couple of hotels. the entire thing is called the Disneyland Resort. you can walk anywhere on Disneyland Property because its all connected like a huge block on steroids and then hit with a growth ray! :) Disney World: name for the complete resort build in 1971. originally two hotels and a theme park called the Magic Kingdom. people will call MK Disney World but that is incorrect. for about a decade that was the only park so the name just stuck. currently it is made up of four theme parks, two water parks, over a dozen hotels, Downtown Disney (shopping and dinning area), Pleasure Island (clubs), golf courses and an indoor amusement park (Disney Quest, mostly video games). it is extremely large. you have to drive from one park to another. both are fun.
