Play Station 3 Hdd Blue Screw Won

Play station 3 hdd blue screw won't come out?

There are a couple methods you could try.

Put a drop...a SINGLE drop...of hot water or rubbing alcohol on it -- behind the screw head -- and let it sit a minute to see if that helps. The liquid seeps into the threads (hopefully -- sometimes it works, sometimes not) to loosen it up.

If the liquid doesn't work, try taking a hammer or an object you can use as a hammer, and LIGHTLY tap the butt of the screwdriver. The tapping helps loosen the threads. Just keep doing this until it starts turning.

Another option is to try taking a pair of pliers and gently but firmly grasp the screw head and see if you can grip it and turn it using the pliers.

Just don't force it or you could end up stripping the head in which case you'd be in real trouble.

I have an HP Pavilion fx2000 touch screen. A while back it started to give me this problem 0xc0000098. How do I fix it?

I called Microsoft and they basically said "You are screwed and we will screw you further by making you pay $200 to send you a new OS disc cause your year warranty is expired"

When I bought my laptop it didn't came with a disc and was never given one eventhough I wrote to microsoft monthly about it. So no I dont have a Windows 7 OS disc.

When I turn on my laptop it takes me to this screen I can't avoid it or go any further. F8 and/or ALT+F8 does not work and the laptop starts to beep then it takes me to the 0xc0000098 screen.

ESC takes me to the boot manu which I tried booting from internal drives and takes me to the 0xc0000098 screen.

I gave up on getting a windows copy so I went to linux and booted it to a USB but when I try booting from a USB it still takes me to the 0xc0000098 screen.

I downloaded a software that promises that will fix the problem but all programs need to be install in the laptop before they can fix it. How am I suppose to install or make the command prompt come up if the 0xc0000098 screen is all I get?!

I can't get passed the 0xc0000098 screen. The laptop does not load the windows screen. I can't access the command prompt. I can't boot Linux from USB. Everything I do it takes me to the 0xc0000098 screen!

Can some one help me figure this out?

Thank you

What's the difference between Playstation 2 models (i.e. SCPH-39001)?

I have recently discovered that my Playstation 2 console is specifically an SCPH-39001. What that means exactly, I'm not sure. I understand there are slight variations relating to hardware updates, etc. in the different models, but I want to know WHAT they are, or at least what the difference is between my model and the others.

Also... I had previously thought my Playstation 2 was one of the first models to come out, meaning it has a defective disc-reading laser in it that will pretty much eventually crap out. I'm not sure about THAT anymore either... I get the impression that 39001 is not one of the earlier models from the information I've researched. (That and it seems like the laser would've kicked the bucket by now if it was going to.) So... defective laser? Good laser? Am I horribly misinformed? Enlighten me?

PS4 Blue Light of Death?

So far the number of defective PS4s are very small (when compared to total sales.) Damaged and defective systems are to be expected. No production line perfect, and slip ups happen to every company and every product. What matters is the severity. If it happened to you, then sorry but that's just bad luck. However the PS4 does have warranty, and Sony have stated that they would replace any damaged/defective systems. Some stores may allow returns and some not, it really depends on them. Usually stores with ethical business practices will allow this, but larger chains quite often make this as difficult as possible (understandable there are allot of fraudsters out there.) Otherwise you can take your claim directly to Sony, and they are obligated to make the change (even though the wait could be as long as 6 weeks!)

To be honest, when compared to the last 2 generations' launches, this launch failure rate is relatively small. I wonder how the X-1 will fair?

Most of my friends already have PS4, and they aren't having any issues at all. So don't shun the PS4 just because of this.

My dog peed on my PS3 and now it won't work what can I do?

OMG!!! I can't stop laughing!!! That is so funny!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

You should call Sony

My PS4 is overheating excessively. How can I fix it?

So this worked for me, it might for some of you and it might not for others. My PS4 is a launch model from the day it came out back in 2013, so it has been out of warranty for two years now.Recently, my PS4’s fan also stopped working - as a result it overheats rapidly and shuts off. I recently took it to a friends house, so I wondered if something was damaged in transit. While powering up, I could hear the fan attempt to turn on, but it made a click as if something was jamming it or getting in its way of spinning.I initially decided to just shoot compressed air into the vents as I thought a big chunk of dust was jamming the fan. However, a gut intuition told me to open up the machine - as it was now long out of warranty, voiding it was no longer a concern. When I got it open, I spun the fan manually with my finger - there was a little bit of resistance at first, but it made a “click” and spun free again. It seemed that the fan was out of alignment and was caught up against something, by manually moving the fan it snapped back into place and was free to function again.Long story short, it appears the PS4’s fan can be knocked out of place during transport.

Why is the 40gb ps3 better than the rest like the 80gb etc...?

It isn't better. The only reason why it usually costs more is because its a harder model to find.
