Played Games During Group Discussions

A group of students played two types of board games during recess. 1/3 of them played chess, and 3/5 of them played Scrabble, 1/8 of the students played both games, and 23 students did not play games at all. How many students were there?

Ok.If 3/5 played Scrabble and 1/3 played chess, we add 3/5 to 1/3 and substract 1/8 (that is both, it is repeated two times so we subtract it)The result is 97/120. We subtract it from one to get the fraction of other students. Then, we divide 23 by 23/120 and get:120.

Anime related games to play with a big group in REAL LIFE?

Depending on the age of the group there are drinking games you could play. Have a Fushigi Yuugi marathon and every time Yuuki says Tamahome you have to do a shot. The last one standing (conscious) is the winner. If the age of the group is younger then how about making up your own trivial pursuit like questions. Or you could always play the King game. If you've watched many anime you'll know what it is. Fun and a real ice breaker if the members are mixed and not known to each other.

Any suggestions for games our youth group can play. like for example we'd see who could go without saying a

word with the letter s in it. Every week at youth group we play a game does anyone have any suggestions of fun games we could play. they can be as crazy as you can think of. like one of the games we are going to play is where you have to have 2 groups and each group gets into a car and has a list of diferent resturaunts and each group has to go to those resturaunts and get a signature. by the resturaunt it will have the manager or someone who works there at the resturaunt and we'll have to get the manager to sign or it could be anyone who works there. just any crazy game like that would be good. please give us suggestions. we're runny out of games. thanks!

Catholic youth group discussion topics?

Reverence for the Mass. This doesn't seem to be drilled into Catholics like it used to be. Too many teens are allowed to dress inappropriately during mass, and some will text, play games on their phones, etc. during mass. Sometimes it seems like so many young people have no real understanding of the mass. And with Pope Benedict becoming stricter on how the mass is conducted and the changes that will soon be coming to the American mass, it would be a good way to explain to them why those changes will be happening.

Fun group games for 4 - 6 year olds?

I'd like to know some fun, kid friendly group games that can be played with a group of up to 45 kids. I work at a summer day camp, and our kids are getting a bit tired of 'Doggy, Doggy, Where's Your Bone.' The games should last about half an hour, and we have to keep them inside and generally in a single group. Do any of you have any website suggestions, game suggestions, or other advice?

Why is it so awkward to play video games on a group call?

Sounds like the problem is with you, dude.I do this kinda thing all the time and have for years. It’s no big deal.If I’m playing a game and doing something specific (like running a dungeon) I ain’t got time to chat. I focus on the task at hand and stfu the rest of the time, mainly so I can listen to the instructions of the group leader, or to listen to what’s happening around me. I hate chatterboxes when trying to do a dungeon or raid! Also, it’s considered rude to do so!Casual gaming, running around exploring, farming, questing or whatnot, it’s fine to chat and talk shit. They’re usually your friends anyway, so it’s ok to chat and be silly. But sometimes, just being there in silence is nice too.Hell, many a night I’ve just been online with my friends with Discord (gaming chat platform) open for hours on end, not chatting much, just being there and knowing there’s someone at the other end, because you can hear them, and the stuff going on in the background of their lives. And if someone wants to leave the chat, cos they have to go to bed or need a break, they just say so, and say “bye!” and we say “yeah, no worries, catch ya laterz!” and they leave. No big whoop.Solution? Chat more! You’ll get used to the feel of it in time. It’s a practice thing!

I got caught playing games on my laptop in class, What do i do?

I realize, playing games in glass is wrong, but in 7th grade we have a thing called Advisory for kids with no study hall. Well, today, I had brought in my laptop to do group work on a Biomes project but nobody from my group was in my advisory class so i decided i would just have some fun with my friends. Well, we started to play Arma. Our substitute for the say saw all of them looking at my screen so she went over, and saw the game, I personally, almost sh*t my pants. But my question is, what do i tell my actual teacher tomorrow? I realize it was wrong of me to be doing that while in school, a place for learning, not gaming. Please do not tell me "Oh yeah you're screwed" and stuff, i need a way to get out of this. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated :)
