Chest pain when playing sports?

I was playing tennis day before yesterday, and all of the sudden i felt sharp chest pain.I stopped playing right away.I thought im having a heart attack.I went home,i was in panic,i thought im dying:(Scary.I told my wife whats going on,she said lie down and relax.I did,i calmed down a little, the pain was still there(about an hour later).Sometimes it would go away, then come back. When i lyed down face down,it completely went away,on my left side, hurt more,on the back also,on the right side less. When i was brething deep,i felt sharp pain, but if normal,no/little.It was spread over my chest, kinda dull pushing sensation. But then it kinda moved down a little, felt like i was hit in the stomach. It later went away, but at one point my three year old jumped on me when i was laying on back, she jumped on my chest/stomach area, and i felt sharp pain.I immediately lyed face down-pain went away.So at that point i wasnt worried that much.Next day, didnt feel a thing.Today too. What could that been?
Im trying to lead a healthy life style,i dont smoke, rarealy eat fast food(usually i eat at subway,or my wife cooks for me),i eat multivitims, vitamin C,fish oil, green tea.I go to the gym or play tennis almost every day.Dont drink either(sometimes beer, maybe twice a month).
But i do have a lot of stress though, and often i have anxiety and panic attacks.Well, let me know what you guys think it was.Thank you.

Fasting while playing sports!!!!!!!!!!?

The situation that you gotten into is rather dangerous. While fasting your body does not consume any calories, meaning you have no "fuel" to burn. just like a car.
When you play sport (especially soccer that involves running and kicking) you burn many calories/ fuel. since you have eaten nothing - the body use your "emergency" fuel storage which is fat cells, and then protein.
The body is more efficient in burning available calories than stored fat or protein so your athletic performance might be lower than usual.
If you'll get to the point of using all your available fat cells or start burning protein - that won't be good, since their essential to the body's functioning.
How long will you fast? can you drink while fasting? can you drink vitamin / electrolyte enhanced drinks?
Please talk to your coach about it, he/she has to know about such condition. Done be afraid to tell your coach, it's his/her job to take a good care of the athletes, no matter their cultural background.

Is it okay to join a sport team when you never play that sport?

High school is a good time to try something new. If you have some athletic ability, depending on the sport, you at least have a chance of making the junior varsity. It’s also a matter of the competition in that sport at your school. Some schools have very competitive teams in certain sports and joining that team might not be an option if you never played before. But some less popular sports are sometimes starving for players and with good coaching you might be able to make your varsity.Track can be an option if you are fairly athletic. How many kids grow up throwing a shot put, pole vaulting and javelin throwing? Not many. Most learn those sports in high school. If you are naturally fast, you may find some success in the running disciplines. Volleyball is a good choice because it isn’t super popular in many schools and many players were probably in the same boat as you, beginners at first. Tennis and softball, along with soccer and basketball might be harder to play if you have never played the game before, because most of the players have extensive experience in them before high school. It is always OK to try. If you don’t try you will never know, but pick the right sport if you want to make the team and play. Worst case you will be cut and right were you are now. More likely you will get a uniform and sit at the end of the JV bench. Just being part of a team is rewarding even if you don’t get to play much. But if you practice and you are willing to work hard at the game, who knows what will happen. I know a girl who never pole vaulted in her life before her Sophomore year in high school. By the time she was a senior she was being recruited by D1 college teams. Another who never played volleyball until she was a freshman and wound up playing volleyball in college. That is unlikely to happen in the more popular sports, but in the niche sports there are many possibilities.

I've never played a sport, but going into high school you have to play a sport to get into college. What's an easy sport to start playing?

I have seen some answers that suggest you should shun sports like soccer and basketball because they require an accumulation of skills over many, many repititions that one simply can’t acquire in such a short time. I agree whole heartedly with this (Tim Duncan aside). But I disagree with the idea that you should instead focus on sports like sprinting or cross country because they are less technique intensive and more natural-ability inclined. While I agree with this statement I don’t agree with the conclusion.Yes, there is very little building of skills in running. If you’re going to be an elite runner, there’s literally no difference between starting at 6 years of age or 18. The end result will be the same. I was a college runner and my husband ran at even higher levels. Our daughter already shows tremendous promise toward being an elite distance runner at the age of 10. But we are not remotely pushing her to running. We can only burn her out and there’s no upside except for our own glory. If she’s destined to be an elite runner she will get all the practice she needs later in life. But here’s why I don’t agree with the previous answers. If you’re going to be an elite distance runner or if you’re going to be an elite sprinter you would have already demonstrated it before high school. If you’re fast- you know it. Everyone knows it. For the same reasons you don’t need to practice from the age of 5 to be elite, you can’t practice your way into being elite in sports like running. If you’re not fast at 14, it’s not happening. Ever.Instead of focusing on sports where literally the entire world is competing with you (everyone, everywhere in the world runs), why not focus on sports where the competition is less stiff? If my goal were to play sports at an elite level, I’d go with the obscure sports. My friends won the NCAA national championship in croquet after playing for nine months. Luge anyone? Does anyone actually think the Olympic champion in the luge would be champion if any good athletes actually did the luge?

I'm a very fast runner, apart from track, what other sports would I be good at?

1. Soccer- The only problem with soccer is that people who play it have generally been playing it for years and are very, very good (I dont know how old you are but if you are under the highschool level i would suggest picking up soccer)
2. Swimming- If your a fast runner you could also be a fast swimmer the two tie into each other.
3. Lacrosse- In my opinion this is your best option. Lacrosse is easy to learn and also very fun. I your fast and have a bit of hand eye cordination lacrosse is perfect.

How do you serve a fast ball in Wii Sports Tennis?

It has NOTHING to do with hitting any button on the Wiimote... It has EVERYTHING to do with the "timing" of when you hit the ball!!!

Most people would say to hit the ball when it is at it's HIGHEST PEAK of the toss!! That's pretty much correct... but, I usually try to hit it JUST BEFORE the highest peak of the toss... just to get the timing right... that's what works best for me... TRY IT!!!

Also... tips for getting a higher "rating" or "score" is... If you know that you have been playing a lousy game (losing A LOT of points and such) just hit the plus button on your Wiimote before the game is over to pause the game, and then exit out!!! That way, you won't LOSE any points for having a bad game...

Also... try playing with one "Mii" and one "Computer Player" on your side... and then try playing with Two "Miis" (The same Mii) on your side... and also try moving your starting position around as well... sometimes start on the defensive side of the court, sometimes on the offensive side... These are all ways to get more "points" for your wins!!
