Playstation Store Games On Two Consoles

If I bought a game from the PlayStation store, could I play it on a second PS4 console if I sign in with my account?

Sony clarifies PS4 game-sharing rules ahead of launch“There's no limit to the number of consoles you can download a game on, but only two games can be played concurrently — one on your primary system, one on a secondary console, which you must be logged into. Sony has also revealed you'll be able to change which PS4 is your primary system if you need to.”- 2013Sharing Downloaded Games on Multiple PS4s?“[The other person] would only have access to your games by logging into your account on her PS4. PS4 game sharing question. Can 3 people play a game that only 1 person download on 3 different PS4's?

PS4 Game sharing is the official Sony feature that lets you share digital games with friends, and draws a parallel to how easy you could share physical games with friends. As Digital games are becoming the norm, system exists on the PS4 to let you share your digital games and is officially supported by Sony.PS4 Game sharing with 3 people – tutorialJust to clear it up, the 3rd person is the holder of the account. It is NOT 1 owner and 3 other people. Also In case you do not know what PS4 game sharing is. It’s exactly what it sounds like. Sharing games.Step 1: Put your account as secondary on your PS4. Your first friend can activate his PS4 as your primary PS4. You can find this option in the settings: Settings > PlayStation Network/Account Management > Activate as Your Primary PS4 > Activate.Congrats, If you made it that far, you’re in “typical” PS4 Game sharing mode: your friend can play and download your games without using your login information because his PS4 is your primary PS4. You, on the other hand, can still play and download your games on any PS4 (including yours) because you have your credentials. You can stop here if you only want to share your games with one Friend, but keep reading if you want to share with a third person.Step 2: After the first friend has downloaded (Mooched off) the games he wants, tell him to launch a game. Only Launching.NOTE: I don’t have any proof that you NEED to do the launch thing,But I’ve read it on some places so worth trying anywaysStep 3: After this, Login to the PSN Site Online and select the ‘Deactivate devices’ setting. Do tell your first friend not to sign in again thoughCan mess things up. The games will still work on his console as long as you do this.NOTE: This deactivate option is only available every 6 months, so if you’ve already deactivated it once, sorry no way past that.Step 4: Afterwards, give the account information to your second friend and let him mooc- I mean download games off of you. Here again, set his console as your primary PS4 again.Step 5: Let your second friend keep the account as primary because YOU (The Owner) will probably just play on this account (Secondary works OK) Your friends will be able to play YOUR games from THEIR accounts.

Is the Playstation Network still free?

I guess you could say so.

PSN, playing online has always been for free on PS3, PSP and PS Vita systems.

But on PS4, to play online you need PlayStation Plus. The benefits of playstation plus can be experience on all 3 sony consoles (except the old crappy PSP). You can get free games, discounted games and many features like uploading your save progress etc. It only costs $20 for 9 months. If getting free games and awesome **** for free isn't your type of thing (it unfortunately comes at about $70 a year so I understand if you don't) then, well, don't get a PS4 nor Xbox One then.

Can multiple users use the same PlayStation Plus account?

Let’s get this clear first: A PlayStation Network account is not the same as a PlayStation Plus subscription. A PSN account you can create for free. This account is what you use to share posts/pictures, and keep track of progress, use as a profile for multiplayer, etc. I think that according to their terms of service, there can only be one user per PSN account. So if you were talking about your friend using your PSN account, that is against the terms of service and you are risking a ban of that account.PlayStation Plus is different. It’s something you subscribe to. You get multiplayer access and free games as well. This is different from PSN because PS+ is added onto your PSN account, but doesn’t replace it anyhow. If you were talking about sharing your PS+ subscription with your friend, there is indeed a way. Set the PS4 console that you and your friends use to your primary console under settings. By setting it to your primary console, other users can play your games and use your PS+ subscription, as long as they are playing on your primary console. If this is confusing, go check out this: Activate as Your Primary PS4

PlayStation 4 and Overwatch?

Hello, my brother and I are considering to purchase a PS4. Since we have not owned a PlayStation since the PS2, we have some questions regarding it.

1. Do you need good internet to play it? A friend has told me that when you stick the disc in, you just download the game from the disk. We live in a rural area with limited (but somewhat fast) internet, so we can t just download anything too large. Can you play the game from the disc?

2. This second question is regarding the game Overwatch. Is the game completely online or can we just play with two controllers?

3. Lastly, can you play games for previous consoles?
Thanks

Can the ps3 play both ps1 and 2 games??

simple correct answer in a nutshell:

4 USB ports (20GB, 60GB, 80GB) = YES for PS2 game discs
2 USB ports (anything not listed above) = NO for PS2 game discs

ALL PS3s can play PS1 games

ALL PS3s can play PS2 games downloaded from the PlayStation Network

Can I use Multiple accounts on one PS4 to play different games?

Yes. I have a US account and a South African account, so I can use networked content from both regions.  Both accounts have my one PS4 set as the primary PS4.  I am able to use my South African account to play games I bought in the US store and vice versa.  And my entire family has individual accounts and are able to play games I've bought through either account. However, if I load one of those accounts onto another PS4 and download the game there, meaning that it isn't the primary PS4 for that account, only my original account will be able to play the game - not any of the other PS4 users.
