Pls correct my sentences!?

I would put it this way:
"Gion is the name of the place, which is used as an adjective here.
Kouta is a kind of traditional song in Japan.
So, Gion kouta REFERS TO A GENRE OF traditional songs FROM the Gion region."
I think you may want to use the word "genre" here, because not every traditional song from Gion is Gion Kouta.
You could use "thus" instead of "so" if you want to sound more formal.

Hope this helps.

What is the correct English usage - 'Please let Chris or I know if any questions' or 'Please let Chris or me if any questions'?

“Please let Chris or me …” is correct. Both “Chris” and “me” are objects of the verb “to let”. You can test it by leaving out the words “Chris or”. You wouldn’t say “Please let I …”.The one “gotcha” is forms of the verb “to be”. These words are followed by a “predicate nominative” rather than an “object”. Just as “It is I” is correct, so too is “It is Chris and I”.I didn’t invent the language. I just know its rules. >8^)

Which sentence is correct in English? Send me the pictures which you took or send me pictures which you had taken? And please add reason to it.?

Hi Leo,Both are sentences are grammatically correct. Took and had taken are both equal past-tenses for the word take.Let's observe them in all three basic tense forms (past, present and future):1. Past - Send me the pictures you took. or Send me the pictures you had taken.2. Present - Send me the pictures you are taking.3. Future - a. Send the pictures you will be taking. b. Send me the pictures you are going to take.c. Send me the pictures you are going to be taking.d. Send me the pictures you take.e. Send me the pictures you will take.I would request you to either check a good grammar book or online for the defining grammar rule, for a more accurate understanding as to why these sentences are constructed as they are.
