Pluck My Eyebrows In The Middle Of The School Year

Should an 11 year old girl get her eyebrows waxed?

I really don't think so...I mean is she gets them done now everyone will remember her looking like that and won't tease her. I think she should get them waxed or threaded (look it up) and THEN pluck them...Make them look natural and only shape from bottom...don't make it look to thin. I started when I was twelve and I'm so happy that I did... :)

Mom doesn't let me pluck my eyebrows or wear makeup!!??

Maybe you could explain to her that your eyebrows make you embarrassed or make you feel uncomfortable. If she knows that you truly feel troubled about them, she may lighten up and agree. Even plucking stray hairs can make a big difference!

For make-up, ask her about neutral colors. Brown eyeshadow and brown eyeliner still make a statement without being too bold, and there are still many shades of browns to choose from.

Ask during a calm time, and be polite and use a soft voice. If your mom still says no, don't be upset. She's only trying to protect you.

Good luck! : )

If I've over-plucked my eyebrows...?

Omg, the same exact thing happened to me. Although i was quite happy with the results when i've plucked them myself. But now i let them grow in a little thicker, and my left brow is slightly higher than the right. You can try to make your arch seem lower than it is by filling in lightly with a brow pencil just below it. Ive tried doing that until it started shaping back to normal. You should consider using a stencil or some sort of guideline next time you pluck, but restrict yourself from using the tweezers before the eyebrows have fully grown back or you'll have even more problems.
Hope i helped a little, thanks for reading.

Sorry for making this long, but as for growing them back, olive oil definitely works.
OH and vaseline too. Put it on an area that needs to be fuller and leave it overnight. Make sure you moisturize it in the morning to get all that stuff off of your brow.
Another type is camphor oil, but i haven't had much experience with that.

Good luck!

Remove eyebrow stubble? School starts in a week??

So I (foolishly!!) shaved the middle of my eyebrows. Now there is very noticeable stubble and I need to get rid of it! It's too short to be waxed or plucked, and SCHOOL STARTS IN A WEEK! What do I do and HOW DO I GET RID OF THE STUBBLE?!

I hate my eyebrows so much????

Hey well im 13 and have freakin FULLY developed eyebrows. :(. I have a unibrow big stupid eyebrows n hairs underneath my brows :(. i pluck it but it grows back! I must be the only person in the world with these eyebrows everyone in school hardly has eyebrows their so lucky i wish i hardly had any! is there any way to make the hairs go away forever since im still young without lazer?

Is a 12-year-old girl too young to get her eyebrows waxed?

When I was 12, I wanted to wear eye shadow. My mom said that I could wear eye shadow when I started plucking (tweezing) my eye brows. (She thought the pain of tweezing would deter me.)I returned 20 minutes later with "cleaned up" brows and lightly shimmering beige eyelids. My mom was actually PLEASED with the result because my brows were nearly meeting in the middle and were rather thick and straight before. Even when I look at photos of myself from then I think, "I really DID do a good job!"While I don't advocate doing what I did, I honestly don't see a problem with plucking a few hairs to open up her eye area. BUT only with parental consent and ONLY MINIMAL CLEAN UP.I've seen (and personally experienced) "over-zealous" waxing even by pros, but I've also seen pros who can perform magic with extreme precision.I guess my final answer is this:I think 12 is too young for a radical change, but old enough for a little "clean up" to separate them and perhaps open the eye area a little bit if her brows are particularly full.I'd prefer that she undergo tweezing (or perhaps "stringing", although, TBH I am in the minority that finds that method more painful than any other). HOWEVER, if her brows are especially dense, and the waxer is VERY EXPERIENCED and VERY PRECISE, waxing may be okay. But try having them tweezed first.

Is it possible to make my eyebrows look thinner without plucking or waxing?

I'm learning to drag, but i'm still in high school. I don't want people to make fun of me for having my eyebrows shaved/waxed/plucked. Any ideas for covering up unwanted parts of my eyebrows to make them look thinner, and just take it off when i'm done?

Do people care if you don’t wax, or thread, your eyebrows?

I went to get my eyebrows waxed once. Back when I was in my 30s. When I walked into the small salon for my waxing appointment, the waxer was ready, and the smell of hot wax permeated the room. The woman took one look at my brows and said, “Oh honey.” And turned off the wax.She ended up plucking about five stray hairs, then recommended that I bleach the rest of them and just draw my brows on. Apparently that was common in the 1990s. Luckily, drawn-on brows were in style, and I was (and still am) good at drawing.I abandoned the bleaching at some point during the 2000s, but my eyebrows only got thinner. Needless to say, I have never plucked, waxed, threaded or otherwise permanently removed any of those precious hairs. I have far fewer brow hairs than I did back then. Nobody cares how I groom them. I own several brow products, and after 20+ years I’ve gotten a lot better at brow artistry. (The products are better, too.) Now, my routine involves two or three pencils, plus a powder. They are 90% a work of art. Unless you look very closely, you might not suspect I am actually brow-bald.I’m thinking about getting them microbladed, which is a form of tattooing that isn’t permanent. But it’s like, 300 bucks. This is a bargain compared to the $4000 eyebrow transplant.I could buy quite a few books — not to mention eyebrow pencils — with that money. Maybe if my ship comes in, I might consider it. But for now, I’ll keep my sparse brows and either grow bangs or just hope the browless look comes in style.
