Plug In My Ear Is Tight

How long can I take my plugs out before my ear becomes too tight?

I have been at 17mm for about a month. I too had the same issue. I find that if they do fall out but tight to get back in, i leave them out and take a hot shower. After that I use some coconut oil while pulling on my lobes to help ease them back in. Also, what I just recently did was get a pair of plugs custom made with a larger flare. I usually liked the 1mm flare (the saddles were 17mm but the flares were 18mm) so it would be easier to get them back in easier in the mornings. Now with that pair that was custom made, I had him make me a larger flare at 1.5mm. It took me a few days for my lobes to get used to it, however when I want to sleep with them in, they never fall out. Hopefully some of these options is something you want to consider. I get my jewelry made from www.antifashionorganics.com Plus side on top of having them custom made for me, they are organic so it helps my ears breathe and no more funk. Good luck ;p

Earrings :fake plugs/gauges are too tight?

They squeeze my ear pretty tight and there's no room between them and my ear at all really , and it does turn red. It's slightly uncomfortable, but would it cause any problems if I wore them anyway? I don't see how they could become embedded since there so big, my ear couldn't grow over them I'm sure. And I would take them out at night anyway and only wear them during the day. There like 15 dollars fake plugs from hot topic.

Why is my ear piercing tight?

I started stretching (gauging) my ears about 2 months ago and right now I have 10's in but for some reason the gauge in my right ear is super tight, I can't move it at all. Should I just let it sit and see if it loosens or should I actually do something?

Why don’t earbuds fit in the right ear?

There are a few things you can try to get your earbuds to fit better in your ear:Keep your ear buds inserted properly in your ear canalPull the top of your ear while inserting the same. This maximizes the diameter of the ear and ensures a tight fitIf the bud is not fitting as per your requirement, then try replacing the same with another one which is supplied with the retail packageWear a head band or a tight fitting cap which will act as a support that prevent the same from falling out

Is there any reason that wearing ear plugs would make you feel disoriented / dizzy?

One possibility is that you are pressurizing your ear canal, which applies pressure on the ear drum, when you push the plugs into your ear. You did not indicate the type of ear plugs you are using, so I cannot know if this is the problem or not.Assuming you are using foam ear plugs, make sure you use them correctly, which means rolling them into a tiny cylinder before inserting them. If you do this, they will not pressurize your ear canal, and if my guess is correct, the dizziness should not be present. Here is a short video showing how to do this: Video: How to Properly Fit a Foam Ear PlugIf you do not want to use foam ear plugs, choose a vented ear plug. That will do two things for you: first, it will enable your ears to “breathe” so no pressure can build up inside your canal. Second, the vent will moderate the sound you hear, reducing the loud sounds and letting you hear voices and the like. Choose a musicians ear plug by Alpine. These all use a vent for acoustic filtering. Alpine Hearing ProtectionTake care…and do the right thing.Tom

My left ear can hear more sound on earphones than right. Am i going deaf ?

To restore your sound issue, take a lightly bristled clean toothbrush. You can then carefully brush the larger opening of the Ear pod. Then, (bear with me) suck the bigger opening till you can believe you're causing air to come through. Then, brush. This should fix your issue. The principal reason why this has occurred is ears with an excessive quantity of wax which melts to the ear bud.But we can let you look at a few other things first. Perhaps your left-right audio equilibrium setting on your phone/audio participant is off and you do not understand it was put that way.Perhaps you just got used to the left ear buds being feeble. Maybe there is something wrong with the contacts or match on your headphone socket. Perhaps you will need to visit the doctor and get it checked. My left ear feels tight after stretching?

I just stretched my ears myself (from 10g to 8g)with tapers and my left ear feels kinda tight but my right ear feels perfectly fine like nothings changed.. I sterilized everything before I did it and I took my time going in with both, I didn't rush it . And there's a little sting kind of, but it doesn't hurt at all. Is this normal for stretching or is this a bad thing???

Also i've had 10g gauges for almost a year now. This is my first time stretching

Is it ok to twist your plug when you just stretched your ears up a size?

Well theres pros and cons to twisting them and leaving them alone, so its really up to you.

Rotating:

Keeps ears nice and loose
Prevents drying-out ear lobes
Irritates ear
Prevents fast healing

Not-Rotating:

Ears with be slightly tight
Doesn’t harm the lobes
Allows for a faster healing process

So, if you take anything away from this post it should be that you should leave your ears alone for 2-3 days after a stretch. Don’t turn, twist or fiddle with them, leave them alone. If you’ve been at a size for a while rotate them every so often.

O-ring from my gauge stuck in my ear. Help?

This has happened before, but I had to problem getting it out. I was playing with the O-rings on my gauge (they are 8's btw) and I didn't realize I put them on too tight around my ear, i sat down, watched Lost for about 5 minutes, then realized my ear was a little sore. I noticed the back O-ring missing, and I know it's in my ear, I can feel it, but I can't find it at all. Does anyone have any solutions on getting it out? It doesn't hurt, but it is sore to the touch, and I tried putting water in my hole, hoping it'll loosen the O-ring, didn't work, tried massaging the ear lobe to try to dislodge it from where ever it is, didn't work. Anyone have anything else I could try? I don't want it in my ear, I heard it can lead to surgery. Thankyou.
